Shen Jingqi looked at the giant, quickly thinking of a strategy in his mind. "Its joints might be its weakness. Let's find a way to attack its joints," he shouted.

Li Baiyu nodded and said, "Alright, I'll distract it. You guys look for a chance to attack its joints."

After speaking, Li Baiyu formed seals with her hands again, and beams of light shot towards the giant. The giant was enraged by these lights, roaring continuously as it charged towards Li Baiyu. Lin Yu and Shen Jingqi seized the opportunity and quietly moved to the sides of the giant. They waited for the perfect moment, ready to deliver a fatal blow to the giant.

Just as the giant was about to reach Li Baiyu, Lin Yu and Shen Jingqi launched their attack simultaneously. They leaped high into the air, their swords and daggers gleaming coldly as they thrust towards the giant's knee joints. The giant sensed the danger and tried to dodge, but it was too late. Lin Yu's sword and Shen Jingqi's dagger pierced into the giant's joints simultaneously. The giant let out a piercing scream, and its body began to shake.

Li Baiyu seized this opportunity to launch a powerful attack again. She pushed her hands forward, and a massive energy wave swept towards the giant. Under the impact of the energy wave, the giant's body shook even more violently, finally collapsing with a loud crash, raising a cloud of dust.

The three of them collapsed on the ground again, having exhausted all their energy.

Sweat mixed with dust covered their faces, making them dirty. Lin Yu's hand was still trembling slightly from the sword strike at the giant, as if it had drained all his strength. He looked at the fallen giant, feeling no relief in his heart, but rather a stronger sense of unease. "Did we really defeat the giant so easily? It feels too smooth, could there be a trap?" he muttered softly, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily.

Shen Jingqi was covering his arm, which had been scraped when the giant attacked earlier. The wound burned with pain, but he bit his lip and said nothing. He looked at the fallen giant, his brow furrowed. "Everything in this forest is unusual, this giant might just be a pawn in a bigger scheme," he thought to himself, a vague sense of crisis looming over him. He vaguely felt that the real danger was still ahead.

Li Baiyu struggled to sit up, her face somewhat pale from the energy wave she had unleashed that consumed a lot of her strength. "We have to get out of here quickly; the fall of this giant might attract other, more terrifying things," she said weakly but firmly. She could feel that the air around was filled with a repressive atmosphere, as if pairs of eyes were lurking in the shadows, staring at them menacingly.

The three of them supported each other as they stood up, dragging their exhausted bodies further into the forest. With each step, the fallen leaves beneath their feet made a "rustling" sound, which seemed particularly jarring in the silent forest. The surrounding trees grew taller and denser, the sunlight barely piercing through the overlapping layers of branches and leaves, casting only mottled shadows. The mist lingered, making everything appear hazy, as if in an illusory world.

"How big is this forest? I feel like we've been walking forever and yet we're going in circles," Lin Yu complained, his voice tinged with fatigue and frustration. He looked at the similar scenery around him, feeling lost and unsure if he could find a way out or complete the seemingly unreachable mission.

Shen Jingqi remained silent, quietly observing the surroundings. Suddenly, he stopped, his eyes fixed on a large tree ahead. "Look, there's something on that tree," he said softly, a hint of caution in his voice.

Lin Yu and Li Baiyu followed the direction of his finger and saw strange symbols carved onto the tree's trunk. The symbols were crooked, resembling some ancient writing, yet unlike any script they knew. "What is this? Could it be some sort of hint?" Lin Yu wondered aloud, moving closer for a better look.

As he approached the trunk, a giant snake suddenly sprang from the nearby underbrush. The snake's body was as thick as a barrel, its scales glinting with a sinister light. It opened its massive maw, lunging at Lin Yu. Lin Yu's eyes widened with terror, his body freezing up, mind going blank, completely forgetting to react.

"Watch out!" Shen Jingqi shouted, quickly drawing his dagger and charging towards the snake. Seizing the moment, he fiercely stabbed the dagger into the snake's eye.

The snake hissed in pain, its body writhing wildly. It lashed out with its tail, sweeping towards Shen Jingqi. Shen Jingqi couldn't dodge in time and was hit by the tail, sent flying before crashing heavily to the ground.

Li Baiyu also reacted, quickly forming seals with her hands, a beam of light shooting towards the snake. The snake, sensing danger, evaded the beam, then lunged at Lin Yu once more. Lin Yu snapped back to reality, stumbling back a few steps, then swinging his sword at the snake. But the snake's body was too agile, and the sword only sparked off its scales, failing to deal significant damage.

The snake coiled tightly around Lin Yu's body, exerting tremendous strength, making Lin Yu feel as though his bones might snap. He struggled desperately to free himself from the snake's grip, but it was all in vain. "Help... help me..." he gasped out, his voice filled with fear and despair.

Shen Jingqi struggled to rise, seeing Lin Yu in extreme danger, he charged at the snake once more. Targeting the snake's weak spot seven inches from its head, he drove his dagger down hard.

The snake hissed in pain, its body shuddering violently as it released Lin Yu and charged at Shen Jingqi. Shen Jingqi quickly retreated, but not before the snake's claw wounded his arm, blood flowing forth instantly.

Li Baiyu intensified her assault, beams of light shooting at the snake. Under the barrage of light, the snake's body grew ever more weary. It let out a roar of anger, then turned to flee into the depths of the forest. The three watched the snake's retreating figure, breathing a sigh of relief.

"How many dangers are there in this forest? Can we even make it out alive?" Lin Yu collapsed to the ground, panting heavily. His eyes showed a hint of despair, the battle with the snake having drained nearly all his courage and strength.

Shen Jingqi, holding his injured arm, said, "We can't give up. As long as we're still breathing, we must keep moving forward." His eyes were filled with determination, despite his battered body, the belief in protecting world peace sustained him. He thought the mysterious organization must be conducting unspeakable plans somewhere in the forest; they must find and stop them as soon as possible.
