My Auto Cloning System-Chapter 109: The Mountain, and The Flying Bun 3
He swooped over the heads of the crowd. People
were ducking, and screaming. (Ahhhh!) The wind pressure from his fly-by blew his hats off, flipped up skirts, and knocked over a stack of wooden crates. (Crash!)
He aimed for the center of Group D's platform.
"Brakes! Brakes! Where are the brakes on this thing?! System, buy me an airbag!" Yin Zhe yelled in panic, while looking genuinely panicked for a split second.
He stomped his foot on the blade. Then The sword suddenly jerked upward, the tip pointing to the sky, and slowing down his descent with a massive burst of friction against the air. He hopped off the blade about five feet from the ground.
(THUD!)
He landed in a crouch, superhero style. One hand on the ground, and one hand holding the meat bun high in the air to save it from the dirt. Dust spiraled and billowed out around him in a perfect circle.
The sword, which was now free of his weight, spun once in the air (Whirl!) and stabbed itself into the stone floor right next to him. (CLANG!) It quivered there, it was buried six inches deep in the granite, while humming with dark, and vibrating energy.
Yin Zhe slowly stood up. And dusted off his knees. He checked the bun for dirt. After Finding none, then he took another bite. (Munch, munch.)
"Sorry I'm late," he said sheepishly, while also swallowing loud enough for the crowd to pick up. (Gulp.) "Traffic was terrible. You know how it is. Clouds everywhere. There were Birds refusing to yield right of way. It was an absolute Terrible infrastructure up there."
Silence. An Absolute, total, and heavy silence. The kind of 5mins silence usually reserved for funerals or divine descents.
Then, the system exploded with notification.

Elder Xuan Yi's jaw was hanging open, like literally. He looked like he had seen a ghost that ate a lemon. He pointed a shaking finger at Yin Zhe. "You... you..."
"Me? I'm Yin Zhe," Yin Zhe said, while wiping crumbs off his chin. "Did I miss lunch? Or am I just in time for the beating?"
"You were flying!" Elder Chen Niao said, the ancient sword master, stood up from his VIP seat so fast his chair fell over backward. (Clatter!) His silver eyes were wide open, and vibrating with intensity. He gripped the stone railing until it turned into powder under his fingers. "That... that was the Sword Flight Technique! But that is impossible! That is a high-level Qi Realm technique! No... true Sword Flight requires the Transcendent Realm! How can a Root Awakening disciple fly on a sword?!, although Qi realm Cultivators can fly but he's just a Root Awakening. Unless his sword mastery is at a high level of sword telepathy"
The crowd erupted with voices. The silence had shattered.
"He flew with a sword! Did you see that?!"
"He was surfing on a sword! Is that even legal?!"
"He must be hiding his cultivation! He's a monster! A hidden Elder disguised as a kid!"
"No, look at him! He looks like a fraud! It must be a trick! Maybe he used wires!"
Yin Zhe looked at the crowd for a few seconds, while soaking in the points like a lizard that is soaking in the sun. He could see the points rapidly pouring into his system notification. Yes, feed me. Your confusion is my power. He blinked innocently. "Flying? No, no. Elders, you misunderstand. I just... jumped really, really high. And then I fell. With style. It's all about aerodynamics."
"Liar!" a disciple shouted from the stands. "We saw you turn in the air! You banked left! Rocks don't bank left!"

Yin Zhe shrugged his shoulders. He walked over to his sword and pulled it out of the stone with a grunt. (Grrr... POP!) "Whatever you say. Can we fight now? I have matches to win, and this meat bun isn't going to finish itself."
He looked at the four other members of Group D. They were all staring at him like he was an alien who had just landed. The guy with the axe dropped his axe. (Clang!) The guy with the twitching eye was twitching even harder now.
"Who wants to go first?" Yin Zhe asked, while pointing the black sword at them. "The bun gave me energy. I'm ready to go. Don't all volunteer at once though."
Elder Chen Niao was still standing, with his chest heaving. He was analyzing Yin Zhe with his spiritual sense, while scanning him for any trace of hidden cultivation. It makes no sense, the Elder thought, with his brow furrowed. There was no fluctuation of high-level essence just now. No wind element. It felt... heavy. Like the sword was being pulled by a giant invisible hand. What kind of Dao is this?
"Is it Sword Telepathy?" another Elder whispered unsure, while looking pale. "The legendary 'Heart-Sword' connection where the sword moves by will alone?"
"Or maybe he just glued his boots to the sword?" Enforcer Wu Tiao suggested, while scratching his head. "He is pretty shameless."
"Impossible," Xuan Yi muttered, while sitting down heavily. He rubbed his temples slowly. "He is full of secrets. But... the rules do not forbid flying. As long as he uses his own power. And technically, if he threw the sword and jumped on it... it is legal."
Xuan Yi sighed. "Let the matches begin. Group D. Match 1."
Yin Zhe grinned. His plan had worked perfectly. He had farmed thousands of points just by showing up in the air with his new technique he had learned last night. And the best part? No one knew how he did it. Not even the Elders knew the secret.
They didn't know he was using his Stage 8 Spirit Essence to create a magnetic tether to the heavy metal of the sword. Using his all sword Master skill. He was essentially pulling the sword up toward his feet while gravity
pulled him down, creating a balance that allowed him to glide. It was exhausting, and dangerous,
if he lost focus for one second he would have plummeted to his death. It required the All Swords Master knowledge to balance the sword and the Divine Perception to steer.
But it looked cool. And in the cultivation world, looking cool was half the battle.
He stepped onto the platform, while facing his first opponent. the guy with the silver spear.
"Name's Yin Zhe," he said, while tossing the last piece of the bun into his mouth. (Gulp.) "And you are?"
The spearman gulped. (Gulp.) He looked at the flying sword from earlier. He looked at the crumbs on Yin Zhe's face. Then He looked at Yin Zhe's crazy, and fearless smile.
"I... I..." the spearman stammered.
Yin Zhe winked. (Wink!) "Don't worry. I'll be gentle. I'm pretty much full."
