My Beasts Forced Them On Me-Chapter 17. Beast affinity
They stayed like this for some time.
Jin looked at Aion and asked,
", do you think that I am more mature than other kids of my age?"
Aion laughed and said,
"Thats because you are smarter and more talented than them."
Jin finds this answer acceptable. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Aion suddenly became serious and said,
"In the future you might have doubts, but remember that unless you have strength, it is impossible to stand."
Jin was confused but he still nodded.
Without saying much, Aion transformed and returned to his spiritual palace.
After this, Jin also left for home.
After returning he went to Emma and he asked her,
"Grandma, who are the three forbidden lords."
Emma was shocked and she turned to Jin. She thought to herself,
’Just what is being taught in this school. The knowledge that should be explained to these kids when they should be mature is being explained now.’
But looking at Jin’s hopeful eyes she sighed and said,
"The three forbidden lords are something that you should not worry about. You need to become strong to carry their names.
As for who they are, they are said to be born with the universe but nurtured by something else.
This is the only thing that I know about."
Jin looked her and said,
"So, you also don’t know."
Emma felt irritated by the way this kid is speaking. In anger she grabbed his left ear and pulled it hard while saying,
" You kid, is so brave. if you have the guts then become strong and find out for yourself."
Jin hissed in pain.
The day passed and at night, after dinner Jin entered his room. Aion outside and they both started sleeping.
After Jin entered into deep sleep Aion transformed and just like always he embraced Jin and started sleeping.
The next day as regular jin left for class, after entering the class he went to his seat and waited for the class to start.
Other kids also came and soon Mia also entered the class.
She smiled and greeted the class. After that she said to everyone,
"In today’s class we are going to discuss the beast affinities. Beast affinities are what represents the origin of a beast. They master techniques based on these affinities. And currently there are more than 15 beast affinities present in the beasts.
Beast affinities are also known as the elemental concepts.
They are:
Formless/Normal
Water
Fire
Wind
Earth
Thunder
Light
Dark
Poison
Space
Time
Psychic
Shadow
Sacred
Wood
Metal
Ice and
Strength
There are more but they are formed from the mutation of these."
She looked at the amazed students, who were surprised by knowing that there are so many elements present in this universe. She smiled slightly and continued,
"Most of the spiritual beasts always contain just one affinity but there are some rare cases which can hold two or more affinity in them.
There is a spiritual beast called Rainbow Snake. It controls seven affinities.
Water, fire, wind, Earth and Thunder are the five creation elements.
Light and dark are the extremes of an element.
Poison is something that everyone is already aware of.
Time and Space are the fundamentals for a universe.
Psychic is related to the mind, illusions and soul types.
Shadow and Sacred replace the positive and negative of the universe.
Wood reflects the vitality and life of the universe.
Metal represents the sharpness and toughness of elements.
Ice reflects the freezing of everything in this universe.
Strength is not an element in reality, it is a concept that makes it element itself."
Mia looked at the kids who were confused. She smiled and said,
"This is how these elements are explained. But you guys will not be able to understand them for now, we are going to have application based classes in the future where you will learn everything.
If anyone has doubts, please raise your hands and ask me."
The kids from the first row raised their hands.
The first one asked,
"Teacher, what does that Wood element mean?"
Mia smiled and said,
"It means that the life of this entire universe is represented by the wood element. Wood affinity spiritual beasts are the best for healing and treatment."
Another one asked,
"Teacher, why does affinity matter?"
Mia was surprised and when she looked at the student she was shocked because the one who asked this is none other than Jin.
Mia smiled and said,
"This is what I was going to explain after the doubts but since you asked me, i’ll tell you.
Beast affinities are the future path of a beast trainer. When you reach a higher realm then you will realise its importance.
For now in the easy way just remember that if your spiritual beast is water type then the future path that you will have is the law of water.
As for the concept of laws, I will not explain them to you."
Jin nodded in understanding. After this the class students asked more questions.
Mia answered all of them and after that the class ended.
After returning home, Jin entered his room and he entered his spiritual palace.
There he saw Aion in his little snake form sleeping peacefully.
Jin looked at Aion and he asked curiously,
"Aion, what is your beast affinity?"
Aion slowly opened his silvery eyes and looked at Jin.
He thought to himself,
’As if I am going to tell you.’
Aion simply rolled his eyes and then closed them.
Seeing this Jin was speechless. He became angry when he saw that Aion was not responding.
He left his spiritual palace and he went to Emma.
Emma was watering the plants, she turned and asked with a smile,
"So, what did you learn in the class today?"
Jin looked at her and asked in return,
"Grandma, what do you think about the affinity that Aion might possess?"
Emma was surprised and she also became thoughtful. After some time she responded,
"Acoording to me, Aion is wind for common, ice or snow for rare. But considering his rank and how he can transform into a human so early, he is definitely not them.
So, the only options are the mist, space, time.
But time and space is not possible because they represent the supreme laws and this can’t be that much.
So, Jin, I think his element is slightly lower than the superior elements."
Jin was confused and he asked her in return,
"Elements are also divided in ranks?"
Emma was speechless. She started doubting their class teacher’s teaching style. After a moment, she asked,
"What did she teach you in the class to you all?"
Jin told her everything related to today’s class.
Emma was angry. She thought to herself,
’This is not teaching. This is simply robbing. That little girl is getting free credits just for this knowledge. I need to do something. Even our servants might be more knowledgeable than her.’
