Chapter 27: 27. Progress

Robert continued to say,

"But well this is also acceptable afterall he is still the youngest rank four blacksmith in the history of blacksmithing. The youngest was someone from the high galaxy at the age of twelve."

Suddenly his communication bracelet vibrated slightly. He looked at the contents and his expression became solemn.

He whispered,

"This is an opportunity that James should not miss."

Saying this he started to make preparations.

Jin quickly arrived at the place he was staying and he said,

"Good morning Pixie."

A mechanic voice sounded,

"Good morning, young master"

The Pixie was none other than the Runeship.

After six years, Butler Hu made more changes in the ship.

Jin directly went to find the old man and he said with a slight smile,

"Grandpa Hu, I am a rank four blacksmith."

Butler Hu was stunned. He was just encouraging Jin when he heard that Jin was going to take the rank four blacksmith test. After all, rank four is commonly for the age of 14 or 15.

But before he could say anything he heard jin say,

"Grandpa Hu, I also want to give a rank four Soul Engineer test. So, I am going to the Mecha Guild tomorrow."

Butler Hu was once again stunned. He looked at Jin and he didn’t say anything because he knew why this young man was pushing himself so much. He just sighed and prayed for this kid.

Inside the room, Jin sat on bed and looked at his progress in the past 6 years.

He was at the peak of foundation building at this moment. He reached this stage three years ago. But he was waiting for a moment.

His foundation was stabilized years ago but it has no attribute. He can overpower his opponents only by the high quality of his spiritual energy.

His Soul cultivation is still at the Soul Master stage but he can easily overpower a Soul Grandmaster in terms of quality.

Five years ago, he was still at the peak of the spiritual energy gathering realm and he continued to polish that energy until it was no longer polishible.

He polished it 138 times before advancing to the foundation establishment realm.

But then he thought, since he can’t advance to the Soul Grandmaster realm, why don’t he simply polish his Soul energy.

So, for the past five years, he has been doing the same.

Just now he finished his 499 rotation completely. But he can’t finish his soul power polishing one more time.

He tried it twice but he still failed to achieve that.

So, he let it be.

For now his both foundations are strong and he can defeat anyone at the Soul Grandmaster realm and the other Cultivation Schools at the same realms.

He was already qualified for a rank four Soul Engineer two years ago but he didn’t show his everything to anyone.

Even Butler Hu doesn’t know.

Jin polished his foundation establishment realm and then he went to the nearby table.

He stopped sleeping everyday four years ago.

On the table, there are many diagrams and blueprints scattered.

There is one which is related to a Mecha but it is divided into three forms. One is body sized, the other is a normal mecha and the last one is based on the Runeship.

Jin was working on a project that can have all three in one body as a Mecha.

But he can’t get any ideas.

But there are still many blue prints scattered near him.

He can start the path of Mecha and Weaponry but he can’t find something suitable to craft for himself.

Both these paths are based on the external objects and he wants something that will help him in his entire journey.

He doesn’t want to be like others who can just add and replace anything in their parts.

He wants to be with something that will accompany him throughout his journey.

After doing all this he entered into meditation.

He tried one last time to polish his Soul Power five hundred times but he still failed.

After that, he gave up.

He focused on the affinities he can wield.

In his left hand a time power appeared. He doesn’t know where it came from but it is kind of external for him to use.

In his right hand, a pitch black dot appeared. The moment it appeared it started to devour everything around him. But Jin didn’t feel discomfort.

He felt closely familiar with this power. He can wield this with a thought of his and this power felt strangely familiar to him.

But he didn’t know how. Aion does not have devouring power, Jin is sure of this.

So, Jin speculated that it might be related to his background.

Soon the night passed and when Jin opened his eyes, the morning was already there.

He washed and came outside for breakfast.

He greeted both Pixie and Butler Hu.

Butler Hu looked at Jin and said,

"The entire planet is aware of the fact that there is a youngest rank four blacksmith in the entire universe.

This news will soon travel to other planets and as time passes this will be beyond the galaxies.

There are many benefits but you will also be the target for others."

Jin didn’t care. He said,

"Let them come. Unless some old rotten monsters come, I don’t fear anyone."

He really has the right to speak this because he can beat anyone on this planet who is of his age.

Not only that, he has been fighting with Robert and Butler Hu for the past four years. His combat awareness is not something those of the same age can compare.

In his free time, he even escaped to wild forest and fought life and death battles with low level bandits, beasts and so on. No one knows about this.

After breakfast, he checked messages and saw that Robert had messages for him. He saw the content and shrugged.

"There is a secret realm found near the Thames Planet. It is said to be related to a rank 8 blacksmith. I’ll arrange a position for you."

This is the message. Jin thought for a moment before he told Butler Hu about this and he left for Mecha Guild.

After half an hour, Jin arrived at Mecha Guild.

Someone saw him and they came to salute him.

"Young master James, congratulations on becoming the youngest rank four blacksmith."

Jin nodded and entered the building.

He directly went to the top floor of the Guild.

He entered the room and greeted the young man,

"Hello uncle, Liam"

The young man looked at Jin and he snorted,

"The youngest blacksmith came to our door. What an honour for us."

Jin scratched his head awkwardly. Seeing this Liam shouted,

"You rascal, you should have been a rank four Soul Engineer half a year ago and see.

That old man Robert was being smug in front of me just because of this.

Tell me why are you here?"

Jin smiled and he dropped a bomb on Liam
