It was impossible to pick up Leo

“Ah, papa and sister Claire are hugging again!”

“Wuff-wuff!”

While we were hugging and completely lost in our own world, Liza and Leo returned to the room.

“Papa! I want to join too!”

“Haha. Well, I guess we’ll have to stop for now, Claire.”

I had picked up Liza like a princess. It was the easiest way to carry her, as the two large tails did not get in the way.

“Ah, hey! Leo!”

“Kya! Ahaha! Mama wants to be carried too!”

“Wou…”

Seeing me picking up Liza seemed to get her excited. And Leo suddenly stood up on her hind legs and tried to fall onto me.

I was about to be crushed, and had to move away…

Leo looked terribly disappointed.

“No, no. I can’t pick you up, Leo. It’s not like old times.”

“Wou… Wuff-wuff!”

While sad, Leo now had a different suggestion.

She wanted me, Liza and Claire to pet her with our whole bodies. In other words, we were supposed to hug her instead.

“Hehe. While Mr. Takumi’s sturdiness is nice, Leo’s fur is so soft and comfortable.”

“Yes! Mama feels so nice!”

“Wuff! Wuff!”

Ms. Lyra had also returned with Liza and Leo. And so she quickly joined in and enjoyed the touch of Leo’s fur…

After that, we went down to eat breakfast.

And then I separated from Claire once to go outside.

There was a lot of luggage to carry, and since we would be taking multiple carriages, they were loading them outside of the gate.

“Mr. Takumi. Everything has been loaded into the wagons.”

“Thank you.”

Alfred told me that they had finished, and I thanked him.

I didn’t have that much in terms of belongings, so he wa able to finish quickly with the help of Mrs. Jane and Keith.

The heaviest thing was the box where I kept my money… But even that was not too heavy.

As for Claire, they were still not finished loading all of her belongings into the wagons. It really was a lot…

“Wuff-wuff.”

“Thank you, brother Alfed!”

Leo and Liza thanked him as well. After all, they had packed Liza’s belongings and Leo’s third rubber ball.

Leo actually had some other toys and treasure that she had hidden.

And while I did not think they were worth taking with us…I didn’t argue with her.
