My CEO Boss Is A Masked Internet Sensation-Chapter 121: Matching Dresses
Chapter 121: Matching Dresses
(Karsten)
Arata had texted Azul and I knew she wanted to complain about me. I was driving so I couldn’t reply to her. I could have later but I wanted to apologise first as Karsten so she wouldn’t butcher me to my alter ego.
Entering her office, I felt like a subject approaching my queen and asking for forgiveness.
Under no circumstances would I ever apologise to an employee or let them treat me like Arata did. But she was different, and like the sun, she had pulled me into her orbit.
Consciously and unconsciously.
She took her time, letting me know with her words and expressions that she was more than pissed at me.
My Blue Rose challenged me with her eyes but I remained steadfast.
She mellowed the most when I said that I had brought something so we could eat.
"What? I will only forgive you if you will share with me one item of my choice daily."
So that’s what she wanted? To feed me the food of her liking. I knew she didn’t approve of my choices when it came to eating.
"Done, anything else?" I replied without reluctance, feeling the lustrous softness of her cheek underneath my thumb.
She finally smiled and her greedy eyes went to the bag again.
"Let’s see what you brought for me." She lunged at the paper bag and picked it up. Withdrawing my hand, I stood with them leaning against the desk, desperate to see her gleeful expression.
Her beautiful sunshine smiles meant so much to me and my heart always eased seeing her beam.
Extracting the box of doughnuts she placed it right in front of her. A wide smile had taken residence on her lips. Her brightened eyes glided towards me.
"You brought me doughnuts?"
"Chocolate and sugary ones," I emphasised, letting her know I was ready to sacrifice my sugar intake for the day, just to make her smile again.
"You are forgiven," she said in delight, prying open the box. Her flaming red locks shimmered under the light.
Picking up a chocolate dipping doughnut she extended it towards me.
I accepted it with a thankful nod and she picked up hers. Bringing it closer to mine, she dabbed her doughnut with mine like we usually do with champagne flutes.
"Here is to new beginnings, I hope you learnt a valuable lesson and won’t repeat this mistake again." She cutely winked at me. Her pinkish cheeks had fluffed up and my hands itched for a pinch.
"Lesson learnt." I placed my hand on my chest and took a big bite of the doughnut. Anything to make her happy, even if it was to eat sugar.
She ate with the eagerness of a child and I quite enjoyed watching her.
After finishing the doughnut, I asked Arata for her phone. Extracting the new SIM card I had brought, I entered it into her phone.
"This is your new number. Just share it with your family for now and we will see if he contacts you on this." I handed her the phone back so she could turn it on.
Wiping her hands with a tissue, she accepted it and nodded.
"I hope not," she glumly said and I agreed. The sooner we caught him the better.

We packed up early to head home. We needed to get ready for the event. Arata’s dress was already with Asbela and I had told her to get her ready.
Denim blue was the shade I chose for both of us. Today, we were going to wear matching clothes, and I couldn’t wait to see her in the dress I had picked for her.
Getting ready, I sprinkled some perfume on my clothes and adjusted my hair. Putting on the coat, the only thing left was the darn tie.
I held the stupid thing in my hand and stared at it.
The light rap against the wood diverted my attention.
"Come in," I ordered
The door opened and my breath was caught in my throat, like literally.
Arata stood there, framed by the dim light of the hallway, and for a moment, time seemed to pause. The dark velvet blue dress I had chosen for her, clung to her figure like a second skin, the fabric shimmering faintly in the low light. The neckline dipped just enough to hint at the elegance of her breasts, and the sleeves hugged her arms before flaring slightly at her wrists.
The dress flowed down to her ankles, the hem brushing the floor with a quiet grace.
Her lustrous ruby hair was styled in soft waves that cascaded over her shoulders, catching the light-like strands of red silk.
Wild and yet tamed.
But it was her presence that truly stole my very breaths. There was a quiet confidence in the way she stood, a subtle radiance that seemed to emanate from her.
Her lips curved into a faint, almost shy smile, and her eyes—those deep, captivating eyes—met mine with a warmth that made my chest tighten under the suit.
It ached just watching her.
For a moment, neither of us spoke. My gaze lingered, tracing the lines of her dress, the curve of her neck, where the rose pendant lived. The way the light played across her features. I couldn’t look away, couldn’t bring myself to break the spell she had cast with her mere presence. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
"Arata," I finally managed, my voice low, almost a whisper. "You look... breathtaking."
Her smile deepened, a faint blush colouring her cheeks. "Thank you, I love the dress," she said, her voice soft, melodic.
I gestured for her to enter, my eyes never leaving her, but her gaze dipped to my hands and she found the tie.
"Need help," she asked, stepping closer to me. The faint scent of roses and sandalwood filled the air, intoxicating and familiar.
I extended the tie towards her.
"Yes!"
Quietly accepting, she invaded my personal space until we were facing each other with hardly anything between us.
Placing the tie around my neck, she began to tie the knot; I observed how her hands remained steady at this task. Her long lashes lowered, almost kissing the upper parts of her cheeks.
I stared, my greedy heart not getting its fill. Her fingers artistically moved as she tied a perfect Windsor knot. Her index finger subtly rested under my chin, instructing me to raise it up.
I lifted my head a notch, exposing my neck to her as she adjusted the tie and closed the top button of my shirt.
Her delicate fingers brushed against the skin of my neck and I had to gulp for the mere touch sent my heart racing.
She then adjusted the peak lapels of my coat, and her hands smoothed them down.
"Here, all done," she announced, finally lifting her gaze to find mine.
The fire of passion danced in her eyes, and for a moment, I felt as though the world had narrowed to just the two of us.
With my heart incessantly pounding I tried not to stare at her lips.
"Thank you, shall we?" I asked, although my heart wished to just grab her waist and kiss her mouth until she was breathless, but we had a place to be.
"Yes!" She answered, stealing away her gaze. It was time to head out.
