My Charity System made me too OP-Chapter 159: Recruiter battles
The street buzzed with anticipation as the makeshift battle circle formed. On one side stood Leon, exuding an aura of effortless confidence, his golden eyes gleaming with excitement. Opposite him was Garron Ironhide, a veteran warrior of Titan’s Wrath, his massive frame clad in enchanted plate armor. His sheer presence radiated dominance, his fists wrapped in gauntlets designed to shatter steel.
The recruiters from Obsidian Fang, Eclipse Covenant, and other top guilds watched closely, their expressions a mix of curiosity and caution.
Garron cracked his knuckles, smirking. "I hope you’re ready, boy. I don’t hold back."
Leon grinned, rolling his shoulders. "Good. It’s been a while since I’ve had a warm-up."
A guild official from the Adjudicator’s Pact, a neutral governing faction of the dungeon, stepped forward to officiate the match. "This duel is set under standard combat rules—no outside interference, no lethal attacks, and no fleeing. Victory is declared when one side is unable to continue or surrenders."
Leon tilted his head. "Lethal attacks are off the table? Tsk, that’s a shame."
Garron narrowed his eyes. "Cocky little—"
"Begin!"
The official’s voice barely faded before Garron lunged, his speed belying his size. His gauntlet-clad fist shot forward, aiming to crush Leon with a single devastating punch.
BOOM!
The air rippled as the sheer force of his strike displaced dust and debris. But—Leon was gone.
Garron’s fist struck nothing but air. His eyes widened. "What—?!"
A chuckle came from behind him."Too slow."
Before Garron could react, Leon’s fist connected with his gut.

A deafening shockwave erupted through the street as Garron’s massive body lifted off the ground. His enchanted armor, designed to absorb heavy blows, cracked under the sheer force of Leon’s punch. The impact sent him flying, crashing into the inn’s already damaged wall—this time shattering it entirely.
A cloud of dust rose. Silence fell.
The gathered crowd stood frozen, jaws slack, as they processed what had just happened. Garron, a warrior known for his overwhelming defense and monstrous durability, had been one-shot.
Selene Nightshade smirked, crossing her arms. "Well, that settles that."
The masked leader of Eclipse Covenant chuckled softly. "Interesting… very interesting."
Leon stretched his arms, sighing. "That was disappointing. I was hoping for a few more hits before it ended."
Garron groaned from the rubble, his face pale, realizing that if Leon had used lethal force, he’d already be dead. Your next chapter is on novelbuddy
The Adjudicator’s Pact official, still wide-eyed, finally shook himself out of his stupor. "T-The winner is Leon!"
Murmurs and whispers spread through the crowd.
"Did you see that?""He didn’t even try!""He just took down a Titan’s Wrath elite in one hit…"
Roman chuckled, sheathing his sword. "Well, that was predictable."
Millim practically sparkled with excitement, holding her cheeks. "Leon is just too amazing!"
Naval sighed, while Liliana simply nodded in agreement.
Leon turned back to the remaining recruiters, his smirk never fading. "So? Who’s next?"
None of them moved.
Selene finally sighed, stepping forward. "Alright, you’ve made your point. We’re not here to fight you—we’re here to offer something valuable."
The masked recruiter nodded. "Indeed. This isn’t about recruitment anymore. This is about negotiation."
Leon raised an eyebrow. "Negotiation?"
Selene’s golden eyes gleamed. "You’re too strong to be just another recruit. But alliances… well, that’s a different story."
The representatives from the top guilds exchanged looks before one of them finally spoke."The question isn’t whether you’ll join us, Leon. It’s whether you’ll rule beside us."
"Now you’re talking," Leon said, his grin widening as he looked at the gathered recruiters. His golden eyes glowed with amusement but also with a sharpness that told them he wasn’t someone to be manipulated easily.
Selene Nightshade, representing Obsidian Fang, stepped forward first. "The guilds dominating the fifth floor are in a constant struggle for power. It’s a delicate balance—one that you just shattered." She smirked. "A force like you? If we don’t secure an alliance, someone else will. And trust me, none of us are willing to let that happen."
The masked representative of Eclipse Covenant nodded. "It’s not just about this floor. The upper levels—sixth, seventh, eighth—they are all controlled by factions that are always watching for new threats." His voice lowered. "Your display of strength today? It will reach the ears of those beyond this floor."
Leon chuckled, crossing his arms. "And let me guess, you all want to be on my good side before that happens?"
Garron, still pulling himself out of the rubble, muttered under his breath, "Bastard’s too sharp…"
Selene sighed. "More or less."
Leon glanced at Roselia, who had been silently watching the exchange. Her crimson eyes gleamed with amusement. "They fear you, Leon," she said in a low, silky tone. "And rightfully so."
Millim, practically bouncing with excitement, added, "Ooooh! Does that mean we’re going to be big bosses now? Should we make our own guild instead?"
Roman smirked at the idea. "It wouldn’t be a bad idea. Rather than joining these guilds, why not make them come to us?"
The recruiters stiffened.
Selene’s smile faded slightly. "Creating a new guild is… difficult."
The masked leader nodded. "And risky. It would put a target on your back. The guilds on this floor would either have to support you or eliminate you before you became a true competitor."
Leon rubbed his chin. "That does sound fun."
The gathered recruiters visibly tensed at his words. His casual acceptance of conflict only solidified their growing unease.
Finally, Selene sighed, pushing back her long raven hair. "Alright, Leon. Let’s cut the games. What do you want?"
Leon smirked. "Simple. I don’t like being ordered around." His voice turned sharp. "If I work with any of you, it will be on my terms. I’m not some pawn for you to throw at enemies or use as a bargaining chip."
The recruiters exchanged glances. They weren’t used to dealing with someone who had the leverage to negotiate against them.
After a moment, the masked representative of Eclipse Covenant let out a low chuckle. "Interesting. Then let’s discuss those terms."
Selene grinned. "Agreed."
Leon leaned back, looking at his group—Roselia, Roman, Millim, Liliana, and Naval—all waiting for his decision. He smirked."Alright. Let’s talk business."
