My Charity System made me too OP-Chapter 175: Testing the potion
The group wasted no time. After gathering supplies, they set off toward the Venomous Abyss, a place notorious for its toxic mists and lethal creatures.
As they approached the edge of the abyss, a thick, sickly green fog covered the landscape. The ground was cracked, exuding a faint glow, and twisted, withered trees stood like lifeless husks.
Roselia covered her mouth with a cloth. "This place is worse than I imagined. The mana here is completely contaminated."
Millim summoned a small fireball in her palm. "Not just contaminated—it’s alive. I can feel something... moving within the mist."
Leon activated his Sage Eyes, his vision piercing through the illusionary layers of the fog. His expression darkened. "You’re right. This isn’t just poison—it’s a living force, shifting and reacting to us."
Naval took a cautious step forward, her hand on her blade. "Then let’s not give it a reason to attack first."
The group advanced slowly, their steps careful and deliberate. The deeper they ventured, the denser the air became, until even breathing felt like inhaling razor-sharp needles.
Suddenly, a deep hissing echoed through the abyss. The ground trembled. Something massive stirred in the mist.

Leon narrowed his eyes. "Brace yourselves. We’re not alone."
Out of the fog emerged a colossal serpent, its scales glistening with a venomous sheen. Its eyes were deep pools of glowing green, and as it opened its maw, a stream of toxic mist spilled out, dissolving the very ground beneath it.

Millim grinned. "Oh? Now this is more like it!"
Leon’s hands crackled with mana as he activated his new Venom Assimilation ability-After drinking the venom Assimilation Elixir once again as it only works for half an hour, after the time all the poison inside your body will be neutralized and then you have to re drink it and you will be ready to absorb and use any poison-, allowing his body to resist the toxins. "Let’s see if my potion really works."
The serpent lunged with blinding speed, its fangs dripping with corrosive venom. Leon barely dodged, feeling the air sizzle where the poison landed.
Roselia unleashed a barrage of ice lances, aiming for its eyes, but the beast shed its skin mid-attack, phasing through the assault before regenerating instantly.
Naval dashed forward, her blade shimmering with anti-magic energy, slicing through the air. She aimed for its exposed underbelly, but the serpent twisted its body, countering with a venomous tail swipe.
Leon reacted instantly, stepping in front of Naval and absorbing the venom into his palm. The poison tried to corrode his skin, but his Sage Eyes allowed him to manipulate it, redirecting the attack back at the beast.
The serpent hissed in agony and rage, its own venom searing its flesh.
Millim took the opportunity to launch a barrage of explosive fireballs, igniting the contaminated mist and causing a massive chain reaction of explosions.
The abyss shook from the force of the blast.
The beast roared in defiance, its body regenerating at a terrifying rate.
Leon smirked. "Tough bastard… but let’s see how it handles a direct dose of its own poison."
He concentrated his mana, drawing out the venom he had absorbed and refining it into a deadly toxin, amplifying its potency tenfold.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed the refined venom like a spear, piercing the serpent’s skull.
The massive beast convulsed, its body resisting… but then, its regeneration failed. The poison spread, corrupting it from the inside out, until the serpent finally collapsed, lifeless.
A heavy silence fell over the group. Then—
[Quest Completed: Venomous Abyss Trial]

Leon wiped the sweat from his forehead, exhaling sharply. "Well… that was a hell of a test."
Roselia smirked. "And your potion? Looks like it passed."
Leon grinned. "Passed with flying colors."
They began to return to Inn where Roman and Liliana are taking care of their pets, while they went to test the potion. The moment Leon entered a blue lighting like attack was rushing at him.
Leon chuckled as he caught the lighting- small girl in his arms, spinning her around before setting her down. "Raiden, have you been behaving while I was away?" She is Aqua raiden his pet and also the Mythical creature blue imperial naga.
The little Imperial Blue Naga shook her head innocently, her sapphire-like eyes gleaming with mischief. "I was good! Mostly…"
Meanwhile Roselia pet Vulcan, the volcanic Dragon reached his master as he pointed at his Charred Scales and then pointed at Aqua.
"Did you bully Vulcan again?" Leon raised an eyebrow.
Aqua immediately shook her head, looking offended. "No! He ate my food first!" she protested in a pitiful voice, puffing her cheeks.
Vulcan, the massive Volcanic Dragon, huffed, lowering his head as if in silent agreement with Aqua’s accusation. His usually glowing scales were slightly charred, showing signs of some rough play.
Roselia sighed, kneeling down to heal Vulcan’s damaged scales with a healing potion. "These two never learn," she muttered.
Leon shook his head in amusement. He had been gone for only a short time, yet the two troublemakers had already started another food war.
After spending some time chatting and playing with the two, Leon finally retired to his study.
He is now going to get his potion checked, he took out the Alchemy Saint legacy book, and then opening it he placed the Potion on it.
Leon watched with anticipation as the Alchemy Saint Legacy Book glowed faintly, absorbing the potion he had created. The liquid shimmered as it sank into the book’s pages, vanishing completely as if being analyzed by an unseen force.
