My Charity System made me too OP-Chapter 182: Zekrath Academy IV
Cherry, the system fairy, floated beside him and crossed her arms. "Now this is a true endgame alchemist path. But don’t get too excited, Leon."
He glanced at her. "Why?"
Cherry’s expression remained serious. "Unlike other alchemist paths, Miracle Alchemy is unpredictable. You might craft something beyond the laws of nature, but you might also fail spectacularly if you don’t fully understand its process. It requires more than knowledge—it requires insight into the fundamental truths of the world."
Cherry then paused, letting her words sink in before continuing. "In simple terms, this is the highest difficulty alchemy path, not just among your available options, but in the entire tower and any other joined worlds," she said, watching Leon ponder for a moment.
"So, it won’t guarantee me direct abnormal creation or something great outright, but I have to understand and create it myself?" he asked.
Cherry shook her head and replied, "It doesn’t create miracles for you—it only provides the necessary tools for you to craft a miracle yourself."
Leon nodded thoughtfully. "So, it’s more like… I’ll receive skills and knowledge, but how I utilize them will be entirely up to me?"
Cherry nodded her tiny head.
Leon nodded. "Alright, then I choose this path."
Cherry simply nodded again. "As you wish."
[Congratulations on obtaining your Third Path!]
[The combination of offered three paths has resulted in the creation of an entirely new class within the Tower…]
[However, it still lacks a few things. If you are able to complete it, you will become eligible to have your own legacy added to the Tower’s Hall of Legacies.]
Just as he closed the path selection, a new notification rang, causing Leon to look at it.
"Hm, I wonder what it lacks," Leon mumbled. But instead of dwelling on it, he focused on the two skills he had gained after changing his class to Miracle Alchemist.
They were simple yet profound:
Molecular Manipulation
Miracle Eyes
However, something caught his attention—Miracle Eyes was marked as ???, meaning it held the highest rank, one that even the Tower couldn’t quantify.
The Tower Rankings were simple; they were based on how much an ability would affect the Tower and its inhabitants. However, there was a special rank—???. This rank meant that even the Tower system couldn’t determine just how much impact the ability would have. Enjoy new stories from novelbuddy
But this was not entirely a good thing. If the Tower couldn’t quantify it, it meant that the ability had never been registered in the Tower before. This could mean it was an incredibly powerful ability, or it could be completely worthless—one that no one had ever used, leaving the Tower without enough data to measure its true potential.
"As for its details..." he muttered, eager to find out more.
Miracle Eyes – ??? Rank
Miracle Eyes was unlike any other known ocular ability. It wasn’t just a tool to see through illusions or detect mana—it was something beyond the natural limits of perception.
Since Leon was now at Tier III, his Miracle Eyes had three special abilities unlocked, with more to come as he advanced through the Tower.
1st Ability – Mana Pathway Sight
Leon could now see the flow of mana within any living being or object. This ability let him analyze how magic circulated, where it gathered, and how spells were formed. It also meant that he could identify weaknesses in enchantments, disrupt enemy spellcasting, or even perfectly optimize his own alchemical formulas by seeing the precise interactions between materials.
2nd Ability – Essence Perception
This ability allowed him to sense the true essence of anything he focused on. Whether it was an herb, a potion, or even a person, Leon could now understand its purest nature. This went beyond simple identification—he could determine an ingredient’s hidden properties, sense impurities, and even detect changes in energy at a microscopic level.
3rd Ability – Hyper-Sensory Detection
His final ability at Tier III sharpened his five senses to an extreme level. He could:
Hear heartbeats from across a room and detect lies based on subtle rhythm changes.
Smell impurities in potions or identify magical creatures by scent alone.
Feel temperature shifts, wind pressure, and even faint magical vibrations that most people would miss.

"Hmm, these skills are good for both alchemy and battle too," he said as he reviewed his new abilities.
"Now I can easily enter the restricted areas without being detected," he muttered before shifting his attention.
"Now that I have decided on my Alchemy path, I should focus on learning Alchemy first," he added as he kept his newly gained skills aside for now, setting his sights on study and experimentation.
Seven years passed as he completed the Academy, eventually reaching the rank of Tier X Alchemist, the highest rank that academy could bestow.

On the night of graduation, as everyone was celebrating, Leon began to move through the hidden pathways he had learned over the past eight years in the academy.
He carefully navigated the hidden path toward the Treasure Room, his Miracle Eyes allowing him to see the magical locks and defensive formations embedded in the walls. With a smirk, he noted that while the academy had placed numerous magical traps, there was no detection or alarm system in place—almost as if they never expected anyone to get this far.
Closing his eyes for a moment, he took a deep breath and slipped inside the Treasure Room unnoticed.
"Finally, here," he whispered as he stepped into the grand hall filled with countless vials, potions, rare herbs, and many other priceless alchemical items.
"Time to find it," he murmured, and for the next hour, he scoured the entire Treasure Room, leaving no stone unturned.
By the time he was done, the once-filled Treasure Room was completely empty—Leon hadn’t even left behind a single pebble.
"Well, it was a dungeon raid anyway," he chuckled as he casually walked back through the hidden passages, his bag filled to the brim with priceless resources. Within moments, he was back in his dorm as if nothing had ever happened.
The next day, Leon packed his bag and walked out of the academy. The entire academy bid farewell to their new alchemist prodigy, completely unaware that one of their own had robbed them clean.
"I wonder when it will end," Leon muttered to himself. He had spent over eight years here, and now that he was finally leaving, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of detachment, wondering what lay ahead.
However, just as he stepped out of the academy gates, his vision blurred. The next thing he knew, he was back in the familiar yet eerie surroundings of the Zekrath Dungeon.
[Congratulations on clearing the Dungeon with an SSS rating!]
[Please select your reward.]
Leon scanned the available rewards and saw various rare materials he had encountered in the dungeon. However, he could only select three. Without hesitation, he chose Philosopher’s Ash for all three selections, granting him 30 grams of it.
After confirming his choices, he checked his inventory. Since he had stored some rewards in his personal inventory and some in the Tower System inventory, he was pleased to see that none of his personal items had been deleted. With this, he now had over 60 grams of Philosopher’s Ash.
But he wasn’t planning to use it just yet. He decided to save 50 grams for later, knowing that once his Charity System Rebate reached over 100 times, it would be more efficient to use. Currently, his rebate multiplier was only at 40 times, even after all the charitable acts he had done.
Even with a 40x rebate, Philosopher’s Ash wouldn’t produce a Philosopher’s Stone—so he set aside 50 grams and submitted the remaining 10 grams to complete the quest.
The next thing he knew, an entire week had passed. However, in reality, only seven days had gone by, while he had spent seven years inside the Zekrath Dungeon.
Leon had long realized that time flowed differently in dungeons, but this dungeon was special—one could train, experiment, and grow, yet upon returning to the real world, any unearned power would be stripped away.
Though he had advanced beyond Tier V inside the dungeon, the moment he stepped back into reality, his strength was forcibly compressed back to Tier III, his original realm.
However, there was still an undeniable advantage—knowledge remained intact. Anything he learned inside, whether alchemy techniques, combat experience, or secrets of the dungeon, was retained.
This made the Zekrath Dungeon an invaluable resource for growth. Of course, that was only if one could survive long enough to make use of it.
Leon took a deep breath as he adjusted to being back in the real world. Even though his tier had reverted to Tier III, he could still feel the weight of seven years’ worth of knowledge pressing against his mind. Every alchemical formula, every battle he fought, every hidden secret of Zekrath—all of it remained.
His eyes flickered with a golden glow as he activated Miracle Eyes, confirming that his body had truly returned to its original state. He clenched his fists and muttered,
"Time may have reset my strength, but it can’t take away what I’ve learned."
