Chapter 59: Chapter 59

Ivy

The sound of our breaths, heavy and labored, filled the room as we lay entwined. Aidan’s fingers trace the marks on my wrists, making me flinch. He kissed them gently.

"I’m sorry," he whispered, remorse filling his voice. "I hurt you."

I reached out and gently tilted his face towards mine, my fingers tracing along his stubble. "Hey," I said softly, meeting his eyes with understanding. "It’s okay, Aidan. I know you needed this."

"Needed it?" he questioned, not entirely convinced. "Or just wanted it? There’s a difference, Ivy."

"Sometimes they’re one and the same," I countered, feeling the weight of everything we’ve been through together. "You were angry about everything that happened, and you needed a release."

"Tonight, with you, it was more than just release," Aidan admitted, his voice strained

with emotion. The weight of his confession filled the space between us, stirring something deep within my chest. I couldn’t help but hold my breath as I waited for him to continue.

"Was it?" I breathed, the words barely audible as my heart raced with anticipation.

"Anger, frustration, guilt – they’ve been eating away at me, Ivy. And when we were together, it felt like I could finally let go of some of that darkness."

As I listened to Aidan’s confession, my heart ached for the turmoil he carried inside him.

"Hey," I said gently, reaching out to touch his arm. "I am sorry about your sister."

He chuckled bitterly. "I can’t believe how much she hates me. My little sister. I thought our relationship was something I could fix, but..." He trailed off, the pain evident in his voice.

"She will come around eventually, Aidan," I said, even though I didn’t fully believe it myself.

"I don’t blame her for hating me. When our father...when he visited her in her room, I..." Aidan’s eyes glistened with unshed tears as he spoke about his past.

My heart ached for him, knowing the pain he carried in his heart. "Once I was capable of fighting him, I beat the shit out of him, but by then, it was too late. Ellie was already broken."

I gently rubbed his chest. "It’s not your fault, Aidan. You were just a kid yourself."

Aidan took a deep breath. "Ah well, at least the bastard is dead now. I made sure of it."

I gasped and sat up. "What do you mean? Did you...did you kill him?" I whispered.

Aidan’s expression turned dark and cold as he nodded. "Yes, I did. And I don’t regret it one bit."

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Aidan had to kill his own father!

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked cautiously, not wanting to push him.

Aidan sighed and looked away from me. "Not really, but I owe you an explanation."

"You don’t owe me anything," I said softly, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"I meant what I said to you," Aidan said. "I love you, Ivy. Always have."

I bit my lower lip, struggling to hold back the flood of tears. My heart ached with a mix of emotions. Instead of letting the tears fall, I leaned over to him and kissed him, a silent plea for understanding.

Aidan’s lips pressed against mine, hot and desperate for connection. His hands, gentle yet firm, traced the curves of my back, leaving a trail of tingling sensations in their wake.

I gasped as we broke apart, his warm breath mingling with mine. "Aidan," I whispered, my voice filled with emotion, "I love you too."

His deep blue eyes searched mine for confirmation. "You mean it?" he murmured.

"I do," I said without hesitation.

His warm breath brushed against my cheek as he leaned in closer, his eyes searching mine. "Promise me you won’t run away again," he pleaded, his voice tinged with desperation.

My chest swelled with a mixture of love and guilt. "I promise," I vowed, feeling the weight of my previous actions heavy on my heart. "I’m sorry for running away before. I was just so terrified."

A gentle smile curved his lips. "Good," he murmured softly, relief evident in his expression.

The next few days flew by in a flurry of emotions and events, leaving me breathless and overwhelmed. I clung to my promise to him with all my might, determined not to let it slip away. Though I had initially resisted the thought of running away from him, it no longer held any appeal.

My heart was now fully committed to staying by his side, no matter what challenges may come our way.

There was still a small part of me that hesitated at the thought of fully embracing his criminal lifestyle, but another part of me knew deep down that I couldn’t leave him, no matter what challenges or dangers lay ahead. My heart was now forever intertwined with his, and there was no turning back.

There was just one tiny problem.

Aidan’s obsession with owning me and my virginity that he didn’t get to take. I knew that it was only a matter of time before he brought it up again.

And when he did, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes and groan at him.

"Ivy, come on," he coaxed, his eyes glittering with mischief.

"Aidan. I’m not going to let you kill Derek," I said, my voice firm. "Or, lock him in your dungeon in Maldives," I added.

He groaned dramatically and flopped back on the bed, his hands folded behind his head. "But baby," he whined, trying to use his puppy-dog eyes on me. "It will make me feel so much better knowing that bastard has vanished out of thin air.."

"Are you even hearing yourself right now?" I sighed. Why was he such a goddamn pervert!

"Come on, just think about it," he purred suggestively, running his finger up my thigh and making me shiver.

I shook my head, trying to clear my mind from stray thoughts. "No means no, Aidan," I said firmly. "You’ll have to come to terms with the fact the guy who had my first time is alive and well. And he needs to stay that way."

He gave me a pouting look before sighing dramatically. "Fine, he can live," he grumbled. "For now," he added.

I nodded slowly. "I don’t see how it benefits anyone for him to be gone," I said softly. "And I can’t have you doing something stupid just because you’re angry."

He stared at me for a moment before rolling over, propping himself up on one elbow and gazing down at me. His expression was full of longing and... something else. Something primal that made my heart skip a beat. "You know what would make me feel better?" he purred suddenly, tracing circles on my stomach with his index finger.

"What?" I breathed out, unable to hide the curiosity in my voice.

"If you gave me your anal virginity," he said plainly as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Aidan paused for a moment as if waiting for an outburst or protest from me, but when none came, he smiled wickedly and continued speaking. "No one else has touched it, I bet," he said huskily, voice rough with desire, "and it would be mine alone."

"I...uh..." I didn’t know what to say. Out of all things, this was the last thing I expected him to ask.

"Ivy," he purred. "Let me fuck you in the ass. It will be really hot."

I gasped at his blatant crudeness. "Aidan! You absolute pervert! I am not letting you go...there."

Aidan chuckled at my reaction, finding it amusing. "Oh, come on, Ivy. Don’t be such a prude," he said teasingly, but his tone was serious.

I narrowed my eyes at him, not amused by his insistence. "I am not being a prude," I retorted. "I just don’t want to do something that I’m not comfortable with."

He sighed and sat up, running a hand through his messy hair. "I know you’ve never done it before," he said softly. "But trust me, baby, it’ll feel amazing. I will make sure of it."

I blushed furiously. I’ve never thought about anal sex, let alone wanting to have one with someone!

But this was Aidan. He wasn’t just anyone, was he?

And the thought of letting him venture into that intimate, forbidden place no one has been before sent a sharp thrill through my blood.

"O-okay...fine. We can do...that. But you have to stop if I change my mind," I said finally.

Aidan’s grin stretched across his face in a victorious display. "Don’t worry, Ivy. I promise to make sure you enjoy every moment of it," he declared with a hint of mystery in his tone. His blue eyes were sparkling with glee.

Oh no, what have I gotten myself into? I didn’t like the way he was smiling at me so smugly. My mind raced with uncertainty and nerves as I wondered what exactly Aidan had planned for us.
