My Childhood Bully is a Mafia Boss-Chapter 70
Ivy, present time...
As the car rolled to a stop in front of the unassuming safe house, I looked at it curiously. It was more modest than Aidan’s mansion.
"This is one of your safe houses?" I questioned, taking in the modest exterior with surprise. "Just how many houses do you have?"
"A few," Aidan admitted, leading me towards the entrance. "It’s not as extravagant as our main house, but it serves its purpose."
He had been grim the whole way here, not speaking as if deep in thought. I didn’t try to talk to him. Maybe he was stressed about what went down tonight.
We walked up to the door, and he unlocked it with a key hidden under a nearby rock. I followed him inside cautiously, taking in my surroundings.
The safe house was small but cozy. It had all the necessities – a kitchenette, a living area with a comfortable couch and TV, and a bedroom with an attached bathroom.
"It’s... nice," I said hesitantly, looking around.
"It’s temporary," Aidan said. "Once things have settled down, we’ll go back to..." he paused. "We will find somewhere permanent to live," he finished.
He suddenly grabbed my arm, making me squeak involuntarily, and started pulling me toward the stairs, his fingers digging into my skin so deeply that I was afraid I’d have bruises there later.
"Aidan, what the hell? You are hurting me," I protested as he suddenly scooped me up in his arms.
What was he trying to do!?
Aidan didn’t answer me as he carried me up the stairs and into the bedroom. I struggled against him, trying to break free from his hold.
"Are you going to say something?" I asked.
He ignored my question and threw me onto the bed, causing me to bounce against the soft mattress. Before I could even react, he was on top of me, covering my mouth with his.
And then, he was kissing me. Kissing me like his life depended on it.
I could taste the desperation, anger, and lust in his kisses as his hands moved down my body, roughly yanking at my clothes.
I cried out in shock, but Aidan didn’t stop. He seemed hellbent on stripping me bare and taking what was rightfully his.
"Aidan!" I panted, trying to catch my breath.
"What the hell were you thinking, risking your life like that?" he growled. "What if something happened to you? What if you got shot?"
The anger in his voice shook me to my core. "I did it for you. I had no choice. He said he would kill you if I didn’t show up," I said.
"So fucking what, Ivy? My life isn’t worth saving if it puts you in danger!" he said.
"But I love you, Aidan. I can’t just stand by and watch you get hurt. I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to you," I said.
Aidan froze for a moment before he crushed me against him, holding me so tight I could barely breathe.
"I love you too, Ivy," he whispered into my hair. "But don’t ever do that again."
I pushed him off and glared at him. "How about, thank you for saving me, Ivy. I am eternally grateful for your bravery?" I barked, raising my eyebrow.
Aidan looked taken aback by my outburst. He grinned. "You’re right," he said quietly. "Thank you, Ivy. I am eternally grateful for your bravery. You saved my life tonight."
I narrowed my eyes. "Are you being sarcastic?"
His eyes softened. "No. I hate that you put yourself and our baby at risk, but I am grateful. You were very brave, Ivy."
Warmth filled my chest. "You’re welcome," I said, a hint of a smile playing on my lips. "Now, if you’re done manhandling me, you should..."
I didn’t have the chance to finish as he kissed me again.
He didn’t stop there, his lips moving against mine with a ferocity that left me breathless. His tongue danced against mine, hungry and demanding, sending shivers down my spine.
As I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer, I could feel a jolt of electricity between us - a current that seemed to spark every time he touched me. Our bodies molded together, becoming one as he pressed me against the mattress.
His hand traveled up my back, cupping the nape of my neck before sliding into my hair and holding me hostage for his next kiss, his other hand firmly gripping my ass cheek possessively.
I gave in to him completely; this man consumed me in a way no one else ever had before. My mind was lost in a haze of passion as we clung together like two starving animals, finally finding sustenance after days without food.
His stubble scratched my skin pleasantly as he buried his face into my shoulder, nibbling on the soft skin beneath my earlobe while I arched into him needily.
At that moment, I couldn’t think about anything but how good it felt to be so close to him again - how right it felt even when things were so wrong.
His hands palmed my damp panties through the thin material between us, causing shivers of excitement to run through me at his rough touches.
"Aidan," I moaned as he broke away from my neck, his eyes darkened with lust. "Aidan, please. I need you."
He groaned low in response, his breathing ragged as he pulled off my panties in one swift motion, revealing me to him fully.
I blushed under his heated stare but didn’t have time to process it before he was between my legs, kissing and teasing every sensitive part of me until I was moaning his name like a broken record player stuck on repeat mode.
My hands clenched the sheets, my nails digging into the expensive linen as he brought me to the brink of orgasm only to pull back at the last second.
"Damn you," I panted, looking down at him through hooded lids. "Finish what you started!"
A grin spread across his face as he slid two fingers inside me, curling them in just right, sending me over the edge with a cry of ecstasy.
My body trembled around him as my orgasm crashed over me like waves against the shore, powerful and unrelenting.
As my climax subsided, he removed his fingers and stood up to discard his own clothes before returning to me, sheathed and ready for me.
"Look at me," he said softly. "I want to see your eyes when I take you."
I looked into his deep blue eyes, my breath catching in my throat as he entered me slowly, inch by excruciating inch, filling me up completely.
"Aidan," I breathed, my eyes clenched shut as he stilled inside me.
"Look at me," he repeated in a husky voice.
I opened my eyes and stared into his, lost in depths as stormy as the sea during a hurricane.
"I love you, Ivy. Never leave me again," he said huskily, his voice strained with emotion.
Tears welled in my eyes at his words, knowing that I had caused him so much pain by leaving him.
"I love you too, Aidan. I’ll never leave," I gasped, my heart overflowing with love for this man who had captured my heart so completely.
He pressed his forehead against mine, our labored breaths mingling as he started to move inside me, setting a slow, deep rhythm that had us both moaning in unison.
Sweat beaded on our brows as we rocked against one another, our bodies in perfect harmony - a testament to how well we knew each other’s desires and needs.
I ran my hands over his body, feeling the hard planes of muscle under my fingertips as he continued to thrust into me with increasing urgency.
His name fell from my lips like a prayer as I felt myself building toward another climax. And when it hit me - powerful and all-consuming - he followed close behind me with a guttural groan of pleasure.
We collapsed onto the bed in a tangled mess of limbs and sheets, both breathing heavily as we tried to catch our breaths. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"I’ve missed you so much," Aidan whispered against my skin as he nuzzled into the crook of my neck.
"I’ve missed you too," I replied honestly, feeling content and complete for the first time in months.
"Why did you leave me, Ivy?" he asked suddenly.
"What? Are you talking about me leaving the house? I told you...."
"No," he interrupted me. "I am not talking about you running away to your cousin’s house. Why did you move away after high school? Your mom told me that you never wanted to see me again," he said.
"Aidan. That happened ages ago. Why do you want to open up old wounds?" I breathed.
"Because I need to know. It broke my heart," he replied, his voice raw with emotion.
"You left first," I accused.
"Yes, but I came back," he reminded me.
"So what if you did? Did you think I’d sit there and wait around for you forever?" I pouted.
Aidan’s expression softened as he looked at me with regret in his eyes.
"I’m sorry, Ivy. I never should have left without talking to you first," he said sincerely.
I sighed and ran my fingers through his hair, feeling the familiar softness under my touch.
"It’s okay, Aidan. We were young and stupid back then," I chuckled.
"I left because I couldn’t take it anymore," he said sadly, looking into my eyes. "It was either that or I kill my asshole of a father. Shit...after seeing what happened to Ellie, I should’ve killed him then."
"I’m sorry," I whispered, tears in my eyes as I remembered what he must have gone through.
"Shh, it doesn’t matter anymore. You are here now," Aidan soothed, wiping away my tears with his thumb.
"I shouldn’t have pushed you away and lied to you like that. I thought it would be easier for both of us if I told you I didn’t care about you. Ellie told me you hated me, and I believed her," I confessed, my voice heavy with regret.
"She said that?" Aidan sounded angry.
I looked at him. "Don’t be mad at her, Aidan. I get why she did it now. She was angry and hurt. Because of what your father was doing to her."
Aidan sighed. "Yeah, you are right."
I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. I knew life with Aidan wouldn’t be carefree and easy, but I felt like I was finally home.
