My Eros System Grants Me Infinite Romance Routes-Chapter 157 - 3 Succubi...
Akira watched the Silver Hand agent disappear around the corner, the silver talisman still glinting in her hand. His mind was racing through the implications when a sudden wave of distress hit him like a physical blow.
Pain. Desperation. Fear.
But none of them were his... they were coming from the bonds.
The bonds he’d formed with Ayaka and Rina pulsed, flooding his senses with their suffering.
[CRITICAL: BONDED PARTNERS AT RISK OF ESSENCE COLLAPSE]
[AYAKA SHIRATORI: CORRUPTION 51% - RISING]
[RINA KUROGANE: CORRUPTION 78% - CRITICAL]
[TIME UNTIL RAMPAGE: 18 MINUTES]
[WARNING: FLEDGLING SUCCUBUS APPROACHING TERMINAL OVERLOAD]
"Ai, where are they?"
"Third floor, east wing. Empty classroom near the science labs. Darling, you need to hurry. Rina’s essence pathways are starting to fracture."
Akira was already moving. He pushed through the dispersing crowd, ignoring Mei-san’s confused call behind him. Students filed out slowly, still shaken. SPIU agents stood at every exit, scanning faces, taking notes.
He couldn’t run as that would draw attention. But he couldn’t walk slowly either.
Every second counted.
He took the stairs three at a time, his enhanced physique making the ascent effortless.
The classroom door was closed but not locked. He burst through to find them both on the floor.
Ayaka was leaning against the wall, crimson aura flickering around her like dying flames. Her eyes were unfocused, and her breathing ragged.
Sweat beaded on her forehead and neck, soaking through her costume from the café event.
Rina was worse. She was curled up on the floor in fetal position, trembling violently. Violet energy sparked off her skin like static electricity, illuminating the darkened room in brief, chaotic bursts.
Her bunny outfit was disheveled, and she was clutching her stomach as if in physical pain.
"Akira..." Rina’s voice was barely a whisper. "It hurts. Everything is burning. I can’t... I can’t think straight."
Ayaka forced her eyes to focus on him. Even through her suffering, she tried to maintain composure. "We can’t... go to Rosewood like this. Mei-san and Mia will notice. They’ll ask questions we can’t answer."
Her aura pulsed violently, and she gasped, pressing her hands against the floor. The crimson energy cracked the tiles beneath her fingers. "If I lose control here... I’ll start feeding indiscriminately. Everyone in this building. Students, teachers, SPIU agents. I won’t be able to stop."
"How long can you hold it?"
"Not long." Ayaka’s voice was strained, each word an effort. "Maybe ten minutes. Maybe less. My control is... slipping."
As if to emphasize her point, her aura flared again, reaching out toward Akira hungrily before she yanked it back with visible effort.
Rina whimpered. Her fledgling nature meant she had no framework for managing this much essence. It was like asking a child to contain an ocean in a teacup.
"I absorbed too much," she sobbed. "During the Gate. All those people, all that lust energy... I couldn’t stop myself. It just kept coming and I kept drinking and now it’s too much, it’s burning me from the inside..."
Akira’s mind raced through options. They couldn’t stay here; SPIU agents were sweeping every room.
They couldn’t go home; too many normal people who’d notice something wrong. Mei-san would panic. Mia would ask questions. They needed somewhere safe, warded, private.
But where?
"Well, isn’t this pathetic."
All three of them looked up. Satomi stood in the doorway, looking professional. But her eyes were sharp, assessing the situation with clinical precision.
She stepped inside and closed the door behind her, locking it. "You have maybe twenty minutes before one of them goes into rampage mode. Probably the fledgling. Her essence pathways are already showing stress fractures."
"Sensei, I..."
"My apartment," Satomi interrupted. "It’s warded, soundproofed, and completely undetectable to any supernatural scanning. We go now."
Akira hesitated.
This felt like walking into unknown territory. Trusting a demon he’d just met with two others who were vulnerable, exposed, dying.
Satomi’s expression hardened. "You want to debate trust while they’re dying? Move. Or would you prefer to explain to the SPIU why two students spontaneously combusted in demon energy? I’m sure that Silver Hand agent would love to add that to her report."
She had a point.
"Can you walk?" Akira asked Ayaka.
"Barely." She tried to stand, using the wall for support. Her legs shook like a newborn fawn’s. "Give me... a moment..."
Rina couldn’t even respond. Akira moved to her, carefully helping her up. The moment he touched her, she gasped and clung to him desperately. Her skin was burning hot, fever-bright.
"Master... please... make it stop..."
They stumbled toward the door. Ayaka was maintaining a thin barrier around herself, trying to contain her aura. But it was failing, crimson energy leaking through the cracks like water through a damaged dam.
As they reached the hallway, Ayaka’s eyes widened. She looked at Satomi... really looked, and recognition dawned through her pain-fogged mind.
"Elder Satomi-sama..." Her voice was respectful despite her condition, automatically giving a formal address . "Forgive this one’s impropriety in your presence..."
Even through her suffering, Ayaka showed deference to an older, more powerful succubus. It was instinctive, bred into demon culture over millennia. The young always acknowledged the old. The weak always deferred to the strong.
Rina, barely conscious, followed Ayaka’s lead. "Elder-sama..."
"Save the formalities," Satomi said sharply. "Right now, you’re both liabilities. If you rampage, you expose all of us. Me, him, yourselves. The SPIU will descend like locusts, and the Silver Hand will purge this entire district."
They made it to the stairwell. Satomi took the lead, checking corners with the wariness of someone who’d been hiding for a decade. "SPIU has the main exits covered. We’ll use the faculty parking lot. Act traumatized, which shouldn’t be hard. I’ll say I’m taking you home for emergency counseling."
"Will they believe that?" Akira asked.
"They’ll believe what I tell them to believe. I’ve been lying to humans for ten years."
The parking lot was chaos. Parents picking up students, news vans trying to get interviews, SPIU agents maintaining perimeter. Satomi’s car was a modest sedan, unremarkable.
They were almost there when Agent Sato stepped into their path.
"Ms. Satomi. Are these students alright?"
Akira felt Rina’s control slip. Her aura pulsed, violet energy crackling beneath her skin. If Sato noticed...
Satomi moved smoothly, placing herself between Sato and the girls. She squeezed Rina’s shoulder, and Akira felt a surge of pink energy... Satomi using her own power to suppress Rina’s aura.
"Shock, Agent Sato. I’m taking them home to their guardian. They need rest and proper care."
Sato studied them with suspicious eyes. Akira kept his expression neutral, supporting Rina’s weight. Ayaka leaned against the car, looking genuinely ill.
After a moment that felt like an eternity, Sato nodded. "Of course. We may need to interview them later."
"When they’re recovered. Not before."
They got into the car. Rina collapsed in the backseat immediately. Ayaka climbed in beside her, still fighting to maintain control.
Satomi drove fast but not recklessly.
"When we get to my apartment, you’ll need to handle both of them simultaneously," she said.
"Both?"
"Their conditions are too critical for sequential purification. If you try to help one first, the other will deteriorate beyond recovery."
She glanced at him in the rearview mirror. "Can you maintain dominance over two succubi at once? True dominance. Absolute control."
Akira looked at the two girls in the backseat. Ayaka barely conscious, crimson aura flickering weakly. Rina trembling, violet energy sparking erratically.
"I don’t know. But I’ll try."
"That’s not good enough." Satomi’s voice was hard. "You either can or you can’t. There’s no middle ground when dealing with essence overload."
In the backseat, Rina whimpered. "Master... I’m scared..."
Akira met Satomi’s eyes in the mirror. "I can do it."
"Good. Because if you can’t, I’ll have to kill them both to prevent a rampage."
She said it so casually that Akira almost missed the threat.
"You’re serious."
"Completely. I’ve survived ten years by making hard choices."
Satomi’s apartment was in an upscale district. Modest but well-maintained building. She parked in the underground garage and hurried them to the elevator.
"Don’t speak. Don’t make eye contact with anyone. Just move."
They made it to her apartment without incident. Fifth floor, corner unit. The moment they crossed the threshold, Akira felt the wards activate.
Pink energy barriers shimmered into existence, covering the walls, ceiling, floor. It was subtle, almost invisible, but incredibly powerful.
"No one can detect what happens in here," Satomi explained, locking the door and engaging three deadbolts. "Not SPIU, not Silver Hand, not even the demon realm. I’ve spent ten years perfecting these wards."
The safe environment triggered an immediate reaction. Both girls’ bodies, which had been fighting to maintain control in hostile territory, suddenly relaxed.
And that relaxation was catastrophic.
Ayaka gasped. "No, wait, I need to..."
Her aura exploded outward.
Crimson energy flooded the room like a tidal wave, washing over everything. Her eyes turned completely red, pupils dilating until they were just black points in a sea of scarlet.
When she looked at Akira, there was no recognition... only hunger.
"Need... need to feed... NOW!"
She lunged.
Satomi caught her, wrapping her arms around Ayaka from behind. But even an elder succubus struggled to contain a younger one in full rampage. Ayaka thrashed, snarled, fought with inhuman strength.
"Akira! Do something! I can’t hold her!"
Akira activated Aura of Dominance.
Golden light exploded from his body, clashing with Ayaka’s crimson. The two energies fought for supremacy, swirling through the room like opposing storms. The air crackled with power.
Ayaka snarled, fighting against both Satomi’s grip and Akira’s dominance. Her succubus nature was in full control, overriding rational thought, pride, everything but the need to feed.
"I won’t... won’t submit to... to..."
But she was too weak. Too overwhelmed. Too desperate.
The golden light intensified, pressing down on her with absolute authority. Slowly, her resistance crumbled.
She dropped to her knees, trembling. The crimson in her eyes faded slightly, replaced by tears of frustration and shame.
"Master... please... help me..."
Behind her, Rina started crying. Seeing Ayaka... proud, powerful Ayaka submit triggered her own collapse. Her violet aura spiraled out of control, filling the room with crackling energy that made the lights flicker.
"I can’t do this," she sobbed. "I’m not strong enough. It’s too much, there’s too much inside me, I can feel it tearing me apart..."
Satomi released Ayaka and moved to Rina. She pressed two fingers to Rina’s chest, and her eyes widened.
"She’s going into essence shock. Her fledgling body is shutting down. If you don’t purify her in the next five minutes, her essence pathways will burn out permanently. She’ll be a hollow shell."
Akira looked between them. Ayaka on her knees, desperate and submissive, tears streaming down her face. Rina curled up, crying and terrified, violet energy arcing off her like lightning.
Both needed him. Both were dying.
He had to manage both simultaneously... dominant with Ayaka, gentle with Rina. Two completely different approaches at the same time.
"I’ve got you both," he said. "Trust me."
Satomi stood, watching him with calculating eyes. Then she reached up and started unbuttoning her blazer.
"There’s only one way to purify them both in time."
Akira stared. "What are you doing?"
"Three succubi, one Demon Lord. We do this together or they burn out." Her voice was clinical, matter-of-fact, like a doctor discussing a medical procedure. "I’ll guide the purification process. You maintain dominance. Simple division of labor."
Ayaka looked up through her tears. "Elder-sama... you would...?"
"I would do what’s necessary. Always have." Satomi’s blazer hit the floor. She stood there in her blouse and skirt, completely composed. "To Akira: Can you do that? Maintain absolute control while I manage the technical aspects?"
"I... yes."
"Good." Satomi knelt beside them. "Listen carefully because I’ll only explain once. In demon culture, when multiple succubi share essence from one source, there’s a hierarchy. Age, power, experience... all factor in. I’m eldest. I set the pace, demonstrate technique."
She gestured to Ayaka. "You’re experienced but overfed. You’ll drain first, fast and deep to stabilize your pathways."
Then to Rina: "You’re fledgling. You follow my lead exactly. No improvisation, no instinct, no deviation. You do what I show you or you die."
Back to Akira: "And you maintain absolute dominance over all three of us. The moment you lose control, this becomes dangerous. Essence feedback could kill us all. Do you understand?"
The room was thick with three different auras: pink, crimson, violet, all swirling desperately.
"Last chance to back out," Satomi said.
"No." Akira’s golden aura intensified, filling the room with absolute authority. It pressed down on all three of them, making their lesser energies bow. "Let’s do this."
Satomi smiled slightly. "Good. Then let me show you how an elder succubus operates..."
