My Evil Boy Toy-Chapter 239: A Stranger
Chapter 239: A Stranger
Jayden and I went to the hospital for his check-up. I was anxious on the way, and Jayden was the one consoling me. I should be the one supporting him and not the other way around, but I couldn’t stop getting worried.
He was attended immediately by the doctors and nurses. I waited outside while he took some tests. He still couldn’t remember what had happened for the past three years. The last thing he remembered was when he found us in Sydney.
Although he didn’t seem mad at me anymore after knowing that we got married, I still had this feeling that he was a different person.
I was sitting in the waiting area when a woman approached me. She was smiling at me, and I smiled back at her as the princess of Flousia. She sat beside me, then started talking.
"Something wrong with your husband?" She asked.
It was so weird of her to ask me a question like that. But still, I smiled and nodded. Jayden and I brought six bodyguards, and four of them were just standing by the door, while the other two were behind on the sides.
One of them tried to take the woman, but I stopped him, telling them that it was okay. The woman didn’t stop there, though. She took out her phone and showed me something.
My eyes widened when I saw what it was. I looked at her again and frowned. I was surprised, but I couldn’t let her scare me.
"Are you wondering why the hell I have this? Do you want to know what I want?" She asked.
I didn’t answer and averted my eyes off her. I heard her chuckle before continuing.
"Don’t worry. I’m not a bad person. I approached you, hoping that you could accept me in exchange for what I showed you." She said.
"I can’t trust someone like you. I don’t even know you. You came here, sat beside me, showing me something that wasn’t easy to obtain, and you’re expecting me to believe that you’re not a bad person. I’m sorry, but I think your plan failed." I answered.
"You can take me to the palace and put me in the dungeon or anywhere you like. It’s better there than out here anyway." She whispered.
I frowned. I was really planning to take her since she was holding something that the Mafia shouldn’t see.
"How did you get that?" I asked.
She smiled at me when I started to show interest.
"I’m one of Benjamin’s men. I worked for him for ten years, but I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to leave. But getting involved with him wasn’t easy. They would never let me live, and he would also kill my whole family. My sister has just given birth, and I wanted to see my niece grow up. So I ran away and looked for you. I followed you here and got lucky. I stole this from Benjamin so I could give you proof. I will give this to you; all I’m asking was for you to protect my family and me." She said.
"Where’s your sister and niece?" I asked.
I could sense that she was happy when I asked about her family. She pointed at the girl who was sitting across from us. She was too young, about fifteen years old, and was holding a baby in her arms. I looked at the woman and frowned.
"If you grew up in a Mafia Clan, you will end up like this. We’re orphans and were taken by Benjamin ten years ago. I was trained to fight, but my sister was chosen to be one of his men’s sex slaves. She got pregnant and was abandoned. I cannot make her, and her baby suffers more. Can you please take us?" She begged.
I sighed. I wasn’t supposed to trust anyone, but I suddenly remembered Mireya when I saw the girl.
"What’s your name?" I asked.
"I’m Eden, and my sister’s name is Faith." She answered.
"And the baby?"
She shook her head and bit her lips. "No name yet. She gave birth while we were on the run. I was the one who helped her."
I took a deep breath then called one of the guards.
"Call an ob-gynecologist and a pediatrician." I ordered.
The guard nodded, and I could see the woman’s face lit up. After a few minutes, two doctors came rushing towards me.
"Princess, what can we do for you?" One doctor asked.
"That girl. Check her and her baby. I don’t want any record of her in this hospital. I just need to know if they’re both okay." I instructed.
Then I looked at the woman who was called Eden. "Go with your sister. The guards will wait for you, and you will be escorted to the palace after. We’ll continue to talk there."
She nodded, and maybe she was too happy that she suddenly hugged me. The guards rushed into me and took her hands off me. I frowned when I noticed a tattoo on her hand.
I grabbed her hand and stared at it. I was shocked when I saw the tattoo, a skull with a knife pierced through it.
"Where did you get this tattoo? What does it mean?" I said while looking at her intently.
"I got it when I joined Benjamin’s clan." She said.
"Clan? What Clan? Isn’t he just a patron to the Rossi’s?" I asked, confused.
She shook her head then glanced at the doctors in front of us.
"Tyler, take the girl and the baby. Eden will follow you. I have to talk to her first." I ordered.
Eden looked at her sister as they walked out of the waiting room.
"Now, tell me what you meant by joining Benjamin’s Clan?" I asked again.
"The Trecker Clan. They’re from Germany and not from here. But as far as I know, his family were wanted criminals, so they moved to Flousia."
I frowned. "Are you saying Miller is not his last name?"
"No. His real name was Jonathan Trecker." She answered.
