Chapter 140: Chapter 140: Let It Out

Nina Wynn grabbed his wrist and didn’t let go, her voice still a little breathless. "No more, it hurts!"

Caleb Rhodes lowered his head to kiss her sweat-damp temple, his voice as hoarse as it could be. "Did it hurt like that just now? I’ll know if you’re lying!"

Nina Wynn clung to him tightly, pushing him away. Her voice was incredibly soft. "It hurts. It really hurts."

But she was no match for his strength.

That tiny, soft voice, trembling and hoarse, made Caleb’s breathing grow heavier. He turned and captured her lips. "Liar!"

Just a moment ago, she had been actively responding, overcome with passion, crying out his name again and again. It had nearly been the death of him.

Nina Wynn turned her head away, putting a hand up to block him. "Stop. Rosalind Lowell is outside. She’s waiting for you."

She was slightly breathless, and the way she spoke sounded more like a lover’s complaint than a real protest. It held no force at all.

Caleb Rhodes took her fingers into his mouth, nibbling on them delicately. "Forget her..."

The sensation left Nina’s body feeling incredibly weak, her chest rising and falling. "No more... it still hurts... get out..."

Just then, Roy suddenly leaped up, letting out a kittenish "MEOW," and swiped at Caleb’s hand.

This wasn’t the first time the little creature had interrupted them. Furious, Caleb snatched him up.

When Nina saw Roy scratch his hand again, she thought he was about to lock the cat up as punishment and rushed to grab Roy back.

But unexpectedly, Caleb scooped her up with one arm and, with the other, tossed Roy into the cat carrier. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Then, with a CLICK, he locked the carrier.

The little cat hated being in the carrier more than anything. It started pacing frantically inside, meowing nonstop.

Nina’s heart ached for him. She wanted to let him out, but Caleb held her imprisoned in his arms, his hand gripping her small waist so tightly she couldn’t move at all.

She pleaded with him urgently, "Let him out! He’s terrified of being locked in the little carrier!"

Caleb narrowed his eyes and nibbled on her pale, delicate neck, his voice a low temptation. "That depends on what you do. Make me happy, and I’ll let him out."

Nina watched with wide, desperate eyes as the cat paced in the carrier. She was frantic, but her body was completely under his control and terribly sensitive at that moment.

The barest movement of his fingers was enough to make her whole body start to tremble.

She gasped softly, begging him in a low voice, "Please let him out. I’ll do whatever you want."

Caleb gently bit her earlobe, his voice moist and husky. "Turn around. Hands on the bed."

Nina’s face and neck instantly flushed crimson.

’This is so humiliating!’

That position was the one she found most shameful, but it was also the one where she felt the most.

Whenever he tried to put her in that position, he was met with her strongest resistance.

But right now, Roy’s cries were too pitiful. She had no choice but to slowly turn around.

The sight of her made Caleb’s eyes turn bloodshot.

He gripped her waist with one strong hand and pulled apart her slender legs with the other.

He dominated her once more.

Nina’s body trembled violently, but she had no control over herself. Like a soul untethered, she could only rise and fall with his movements.

The modest room filled with soft, small cries, her voice calling out "Caleb Rhodes" again and again, driving the man to become even more uncontrolled and savage.

Her soft sobs and pleas for mercy, mingled with the kitten’s cries, finally began to annoy the man.

He picked Nina up, making her cling to him.

Then, carrying the cat carrier, he walked directly to the door.

Just as Nina realized what he intended to do, he had already opened the door a crack.

Nina was too terrified to move. ’What is he doing?’

Her grip loosened, and she nearly fell off him.

Caleb controlled her body with one arm and placed the cat carrier at the doorway with the other.

At that moment, a voice drifted in. "Caleb, are you two done?"

The next second, the door SLAMMED shut and, with a CLICK, was locked again.

Nina was both shocked and terrified, but before she could process it, Caleb had already placed her back on the bed.

Then, the man’s lean, powerful body covered hers once more.

The low pleas for mercy and ambiguous gasps continued for a long time.

An unknown amount of time passed before everything finally fell quiet again.

Outside the door, the housekeeper brought in another glass of milk.

Not long after, he came out carrying the changed bedsheets.

Rosalind Lowell was about to go mad from waiting. In her mind, she had already torn Nina Wynn to shreds a hundred times over.

When she saw the bedsheets in the housekeeper’s hands, her expression grew even more strained. "Why are the sheets being changed again? Did the cat spill the milk again?"

The housekeeper remained expressionless. "Yes."

This time, Rosalind was determined to go in and see for herself, but Warner Zimmerman stood at the door, blocking her way.

Rosalind’s eyes reddened with anger. "Get out of my way!"

The housekeeper said impassively, "The Third Lord Master has given orders that no one is to disturb them. If you insist on going in, you will bear the consequences yourself."

Rosalind wished she could rip that expressionless mask off Warner Zimmerman’s face, but she was helpless.

This Warner Zimmerman had served Caleb Rhodes since he was a child. He was arguably the most respected person in Caleb’s circle and also the one he trusted most.

Although Rosalind hated him, before the wedding, she couldn’t make a move against him yet.

"What on earth are they doing in there? I’ve been waiting for so long! It’s almost dark!"

Warner Zimmerman remained impassive. "You’ll have to ask the Third Lord Master that yourself, Miss Lowell. I need to prepare dinner. If you won’t be dining here, I won’t set a place for you."

The dismissal in his words was obvious. Furious, Rosalind spun around and went back to the sofa.

In the room, Nina Wynn was curled up in Caleb Rhodes’s arms, completely drained of strength.

Caleb gently caressed her delicate cheek, his voice thick with satisfaction. "Nina’s performance is getting better and better."

Nina kept her eyes closed, too exhausted to even lift a finger. She said in a small voice, "But I don’t like it when you’re like this."

Caleb pulled her tighter, whispering in her ear, "But that’s not what you were saying earlier. You said..."

"Caleb Rhodes!"

Nina quickly cut him off. But she didn’t know what to say next, so she just turned and pressed her face against his chest, murmuring, "Can you please not lock Roy in the carrier anymore?"

Caleb stroked her hair, his voice turning a little cool. "He’s gotten too bold. He’s always scratching me. Did you teach him that?"

Nina sounded aggrieved. "I didn’t! You’re the one who keeps putting him in the carrier. He’s scared, so he sees you as an enemy."

Caleb gritted his teeth, his gaze turning cold. "If he dares to scratch me again, I’ll lock him up and won’t let him out."

Nina grew anxious at once. "No!"

Caleb gripped her small waist, pulling her against him. "No? Why not? Besides, that carrier is made for cats."

Nina said urgently, "But he doesn’t like being in it!"

Before Caleb could reply, her voice suddenly took on a tearful tone. "You’re bullying Roy, too! You’re all bad people!"
