My Girlfriend Is So Beautiful, But She's an Assassin!-Chapter 84: Prizes Before the Final
At 11:50.
Julian, who was still staring at Anindya’s class, suddenly felt someone touch his right cheek with a cold drink can.
"TOUCH!"
Julian was immediately startled and turned to see who had touched the can. He discovered it was Silica.
"Silica?" Julian asked.
"This... for you" Silica said, handing Julian a can of cold mango juice.
"Eh, seriously?" Julian asked.
"Yes, take it. Consider it a gift from me to you—for leading our class to victory" Silica replied with a smile.
"Alright, I accept it" Julian said.
Julian took the can.
"Thank you, Silica," Julian said with a smile.
"You’re welcome" Silica replied with a cheerful smile.
Julian opened the can, and Silica sat on his right side.
"Wh-why is she sitting next to me?" Julian wondered, his expression flat.
"So she’ll be our opponent, huh?" Silica said, her expression serious as she stared up at the canopy of class 11-D.
Julian stared up at the canopy of class 11-D.
"Yeah, I didn’t think Anindya could run that fast," Julian said.
"Yes, you’re right. I thought class 11-D was only filled with people who focused on scriptwriting, costume design, and stage design, but I didn’t expect them to have an ace up their sleeve" Silica said.
"Wow, I’ve never heard Silica say something so serious" Julian thought to himself, staring at her in awe.
Silica looked at Julian.
"What’s wrong, Julian?" Silica asked.
"Uh-huh, nothing, ahahaha," Julian replied with an awkward laugh.
Julian looked back up at Anindya’s canopy and began drinking his juice. As he drank, Julian glanced at Silica—she had been staring at him with a sweet smile and her right cheek resting on the calf of her left leg.
Julian immediately choked.
"COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!"
"What’s wrong, Julian?" Silica asked, still in the same position.
"Wh-Why are you looking at me like that!?" Julian asked, still slightly choked.
"I just think you’ve gotten cooler" Silica replied with a soft smile.
Julian immediately blushed at that.
"Silica~, let’s go eat lunch first~" Aira called, Silica’s classmate.
Silica looked back.
"Ah! Okay~" Silica replied.
Silica looked back at Julian.
"Okay, I’m going to eat lunch first," Silica said.
"Good luck in the finals... I’ll give you all some encouragement~" Silica continued, clenching her fists excitedly.
Julian could only nod his head with a smile. Silica smiled, then stood up, and walked away.
Julian watched Silica leave, but suddenly...
"SWOOOOSSSHHH!!!" the sound of a flying juice can.
"THUD!" the can hit the back of Julian’s head.
"OUCH!" Julian said.
Julian immediately came to his senses and looked back—to find Anindya looking furious and exuding an intimidating aura. She gestured with her right thumb to cut her own neck.
Julian immediately shuddered and swallowed hard.
"S-she wants to cut my neck!?" Julian muttered to himself with a frightened expression.
"Anindya, what are you doing? Let’s go to the cafeteria!" Desy called.
"Ah, yes, I’ll be there~" Anindya replied with a sweet smile.
Anindya looked back at Julian, with an angry expression and an intimidating aura. She gestured with her index and middle fingers, pointing to her eyes, and then at Julian. She signaled that she was watching Julian closely and that he shouldn’t flirt with other girls.
Julian, seeing this, could only nod quickly with a frightened expression. Then, Anindya followed her friends.
Break continued—all the students began to relax. No one went home, the exhausted ones chose to sleep in the air-conditioned classroom.
Julian, lying on the carpet, stared up at the ceiling of his classroom canopy.
"Sigh... What should I do? Should I tell her about the bet first? Or tell her if I want to join or not?" Julian asked himself.
Julian took a deep breath. The midday breeze began to blow quite hard, making the canopy sway slightly. Julian found the breeze cool and comfortable, so he closed his eyes. He could hear the sounds of laughter, the clink of spoons, and footsteps.
"I’m really worried about her... Seeing her with such serious injuries makes me anxious and unable to stay still, plus she’s my girlfriend," Julian thought to himself.
"I can’t put this off. I’ll talk to her after the final" Julian said to himself.
Julian began to doze off for a moment. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
At 12:10.
"Hmm, somehow, I feel so comfortable" Julian mumbled, still asleep.
Julian slowly opened his eyes and found Silica on top of him. He was immediately shocked to see her wearing a cheerleader uniform—a red cheerleader top with the number 1 on it, and a short white skirt. Silica hadn’t realized he was awake because she was staring out at the field.
"W-wait, don’t tell me the soft thing under my head is..." Julian said to him1 in shock.
Julian slowly looked to his right and saw Silica’s thighs, which he was using as a pillow for sleeping. He was shocked and immediately got up. Silica was startled and looked at Julian, who was already awake. A frightened Julian began to stare up at the canopy of class 11-D.
"Phew~, thank goodness Anindya hasn’t returned to the canopy yet" Julian said to himself, breathing a sigh of relief when he found Anindya in her classroom canopy.
"Are you awake?" Silica asked softly.
Julian turned over normally.
"Silica, why did I fall asleep on your thighs?" Julian asked, confused, his right eyebrow raised.
"Think of it as a gift for you, hihihi~" Silica replied with a chuckle.
Julian immediately blushed.
"K-kehk!, d-don’t just say things like that, I-I already have a girlfriend!" Julian said in annoyance.
"Pfft! Ahahahaha~" Silica laughed heartily.
"S-stop teasing me!" Julian said in annoyance.
"EVERYONE~," Rembulan called.
All the students looked up at the Announcer canopy.
"I WANT TO INFORM YOU... THAT THE FINAL WILL START IN 5 MINUTES, PLEASE PREPARE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, THANK YOU~" Rembulan continued.
"Okay, Julian. That’s all I have to give you for your gift" said Silica.
Silica rose from her seat.
"Where are you going?" Julian asked.
"I’m going to join the others... we’ll cheer you guys on with this costume~" Silica replied with a sweet smile.
"Oh, okay" Julian said.
"Then, see you~" Silica said, waving her right hand and smiling.
"Okay, see you later" Julian said with a smile and a wave of his right hand.
Silica left, and at the same time, Anindya and her classmates exited the main building. Julian looked at Anindya—both her cheeks were still bandaged, but the bandages looked freshly changed.
"Did she just change the bandages on her wounds?" Julian wondered.
Julian felt a little worried, but he didn’t know what to do now.
The final match was ready to begin—all the representatives had walked onto the field. Julian’s class was assigned to the far left side.
Wiro wrapped his left arm around Julian’s neck. The two of them walked slowly toward their position, chatting.
"Hey, have you seen it?" Wiro asked.
"See what?" Julian asked back.
"The costumes Silica and the others are wearing" Wiro replied.
"Yeah, I saw them" Julian said.
"They look beautiful and sexy, right?" Wiro asked.
"Idiot, don’t speak so loudly, Anindya will hear us!" Julian said with a panicked and annoyed expression.
Wiro turned to Anindya—who was talking to Sagara.
"You’re right, I’m sorry" Wiro said.
"So, what do you think?" Wiro asked.
"Y-yeah, I agree with what you’re saying" Julian replied.
"Right~, That’s what my best friend is," Wiro said, smiling, revealing his upper and lower teeth.
"Now imagine, Anindya’s wearing that costume too" Wiro whispered.
Julian tried to imagine, but quickly shook his head and removed Wiro’s hand from his neck.
"Come on, stop joking around! You better focus on this final, so I can bring our class victory!" said Julian.
Julian walked away from Wiro.
"What’s wrong with him?" Wiro asked, slightly surprised.
After reaching his position, Julian began to catch his breath and refocus on the race.
"Hee~, did the positions change while I was asleep? Now Agus is the first runner, Joyce is second, Dimas is third, and Wiro is fourth?" Julian wondered.
"W-wait a minute!" Julian continued, shocked.
Julian lowered his head and said,
"T-that means everyone saw me sleeping on Silica’s lap!?" Julian asked himself, panicked.
"Julian~!" Anindya called out in a soft, eerie voice.
Julian was shocked, and with a frightened expression, he slowly turned toward the voice—which came from his right. He found Anindya with an angry expression, and the student in the middle of them felt like he was intruding, so he moved a few meters away.
"What are you thinking~!?" Anindya asked.
"N-nothing!" Julian answered quickly, waving both hands in panic.
"Don’t—"
Anindya’s words were cut off by Yusuf, who opened the event.
"ASSALAMU’ALAIKUM—GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE~" Yusuf greeted enthusiastically.
"WAALAIKUMSALAM—GOOD AFTERNOON!" all the students replied.
"Hmph!, You’re lucky!" Anindya said irritably.
Julian breathed a sigh of relief.
"Yes, she’s right. If Yusuf hadn’t opened the event, I probably would have been deep interrogated..." Julian thought to himself with a flat expression, staring at the announcers’ canopy.
"LET’S GET TO THE POINT. IN THIS FINAL WE WILL HAVE TWO ROUNDS, FOR THE ANCHOR LEG ONLY. BECAUSE AFTER WE’VE SEEN... IT TURNS OUT THE PARTICIPATING ANCHOR LEG HAS ABOVE AVERAGE SPEED," Yusuf said.
"SO TO MAKE IT EXCITING, WE’LL CONTINUE WITH TWO ROUNDS," Yusuf continued.
"DO THE ANCHORS AGREE?" Yusuf asked.
All the anchor legs nodded.
"GREAT! GABRELA, YOU CAN ENTER THE FIELD NOW" Yusuf said.
Gabrela nodded her head with a smile from the direction of her class canopy—she was in class 11-H. Gabrela walked toward the field. Gabrela was still the referee—Mr. Yusuf was feeling lazy and choosing to watch from the sidelines while eating snacks. When she was in front of the first runners,
"ARE YOU READY, GUYS~?" Gabrela asked cutely.
All the first runners nodded their heads and got into their ready positions. Gabrela raised her hand and fired the Starter Pistol.
"Bang!"
All the first runners started running, and cheers began to echo throughout the school grounds.
