My Goddess is Good at Pretending-Chapter 664: Fight the Battle Himself
The summoned heroes and their comrades fought valiantly as the heroes of humanity. Yuusha Mashiro held the frontline, deflecting a barrage of attacks with his shining holy sword with Richard to assist and guard his back. Katsue and the healers kept the party alive with their magic, constantly healing the injured.

Nyla unleashed devastating spells, and Harriet rained down the enemies with a torrent of elemental arrows. Ash Simpson and Liu Kang became the ones to hold their ground so the enemies couldn’t penetrate the formation’s defenses.
The other party members, the elite warriors and prodigies across the empire fought with their best skills and abilities. But the high-ranking demons were solid and relentless.
The hero expedition party and the demon general team attacked each other, destroying the terrain. However, neither side could gain any upper hand over the opposing party.
Alucard, the Hellburn Dracula, the 13th demon king, observed the battle with a calculating gaze. Despite the secret protector’s attacks, he could still relax and observe the battle’s progress on the other battlefield.
"The blessed ones are pretty impressive." Alucard murmured. "But they’re holding back. They’ve yet to show their true potential, especially the White Hero."
Zytherion nodded. "Let’s raise the stakes."
"Where are you looking?" Rhykdohr unleashed his sword aura, but the Demonic Beast King received all of his attacks like an unmoving mountain.
"Is this all the secret protector amounts to? If you underestimate me too much, then you will be doomed. Show me your true power, nameless warrior. If you are like this, I will just devour you whole, and your name will not be worth for me to know." Gorath taunted, confronting the Deity-level warrior all by himself.
"You will regret it." Rhykdohr frowned, realizing that he shouldn’t stall for too much time. He should be enough to hold off three demon kings, but the blood fiend at the back line buffed the other two and also debuffed him. He got manhandled by just one demon king as a result.
He sighed and sheathed his sword as he had to get serious now. He had to use his suppressed divine power to break free from the strange debuff that was weakening him.
"Heh, did you give up? Boo, boring." Gorath snorted.
Alucard turned around. With a flick of his hand, a storm of lightning bolts rained down the hero party, forcing the heroes to scatter. His sudden intervention wrecked the anti-demon suppressive formation, causing the six demon generals to regain their peak power.
When Zytherion was about to join the fray, preparing his strike to force the heroes’ abilities to the breaking point, a sudden burst of explosive power suddenly exploded from behind.
*Shiiing!*
"Where are you looking, demons?" Rhykdohr called out and swung his hand down.
"!!!" Alucard and Zytherion were shocked because the suppressed opponent suddenly became overpowered in an instant.
"What?" Gorath didn’t know what happened, but his right arm got cut off all of a sudden. He couldn’t even see it, and the opponent vanished before his vision.
"This is interesting. So you have a fragment of divine power. It’s either you are a vessel of God, the extremely blessed who almost ascended to immortality, or the God himself." Alucard’s eyes beamed with curiosity.
"Becoming one with the sword." Rhykdohr raised his middle finger, the longest one among the other fingers, toward the blood fiend. With his hand as a deadly weapon sharper than a sword, he unleashed a thrust that seemed to split open the air, cutting through the enemy.
The world became black and white for a split second when the sword unity stabbed Alucard, defeating one demon king with just one strike. Unfortunately, nobody had yet to fall. Alucard stood on his arm, looking at him like a child at an interesting toy.
"A good specimen. The pillar of the empire is truly something. You are more interesting than that coward turtle who never left the city, the imperial family’s ancestor. I will take you home and study you better. What is your name, warrior?"
"!!!" Rhykdohr threw another stab at the blood fiend, but he missed.
Right at that moment, red mist vines suddenly restrained his limbs. In response, he summoned his white spirit flames to cover his entire body, burning away the debuffs and spell traps.
"Your tricks won’t work on me twice." Rhykdohr’s eyes glowed fiery white. He dashed forward, unleashing a torrent of white sword slashes with both hands.
"Ho? Are you perhaps the leading hero’s master? The hero might grow like you. They should be enough to handle that guy, but you’ll come with me." Alucard’s interest skyrocketed, realizing the warrior before him held so many interesting secrets.
"You have no ability for it." Rhykdohr flinched a bit. He felt that declaration sounded a little wrong, but for some reason, he felt like punching the blood fiend’s arrogant face right away.
It might be an undispellable taunt skill, but when he faced the blood fiend, he could barely pay attention to the other demon kings, let alone keep an eye on the hero party’s side.
"Keke..." Alucard cloaked himself in a blazing inferno of demonic energy. He became a bit serious as he was so intrigued by the White Hero’s master, one of the empire’s pillars who got the task as the hero party’s secret protector. He felt like he hit a jackpot of a perfect specimen for his research. Thus, he didn’t need to hold back because he was dead set on bringing the man before him to his castle.
Alucard unleashed a swarm of fiery bats that razed the land. Yet, Rhykdohr stood firm with his hands as his blades glowed with celestial light. He cut through the fiery swarm in a single radiant slash.
Their clash shattered the ground beneath them, sending shockwaves that leveled nearby structures and tore through the sky. Alucard transformed his hands into monstrous claws as he clashed with the divine blades in a flurry of sparks and roars, each strike igniting the lightning and thunder.
Rhykdohr countered with a sweeping arc of divine energy, creating a barrier that pushed back the relentless tide of darkness.
Every movement of their clashes annihilated their surroundings, leaving only a wasteland of destruction as their powers collided in an epic struggle of white light versus blood-red darkness.
Meanwhile, the hero party got pushed into a disadvantageous situation, but they still held their ground. Mashiro called out, rallying his comrades. "Stand firm! We were summoned to save this world, and we will not fail!"
*Boom!* *Rumble!*
A sudden burst of oppressive energy exploded and turned the distant mountain upside down. Everything razed to the ground. From within the explosion, a high-level clash with deadly destructive power faced each other like a clash between a dark-red star of calamity and an auspicious white star.
"Oh, dang. The lords have stepped in, huh. Who could possibly force them to make a move?" Urd stared at the high-level battle in the distance as the clash created a storm of disaster.
"This secret protector is most likely one of the empire’s pillars. Only such an old monster can rival our lords." The other demon general stared at the epic showdown between Deity-level powerhouses with awe.
"Lords? So, demon kings are around? How despicable of you, demons. We haven’t come to you, and yet, you come to us by yourself." Mashiro spoke in a solemn expression as the situation became more dire than he thought.
He recalled that they weren’t far from the capital city, so the powerful experts facing the demon kings in the distance were clearly the strongest experts from the capital city. Since the big bosses were facing each other, he could put his focus on the six high-level demons in front of him.
*Rumble!* *Rumble!* *Shatter!*
When the hero party would unleash another torrent of onslaught toward the high-level demons before them, the entire forest trembled with a severe earthquake. The sky turned ominous red as the demonic energy became thick in the air.
The auspicious white star expert flew high to the sky, but the dark-red star of calamity’s aura surged like an ocean of malevolence. The hero party and the demon general team got blown away due to the impact of Deity-level clashes.
It was like a battle between Gods, but since it was the case, the ones who suffered the most would be the mortals.
Alucard’s bat-like wings spread wide as dark lightning crackled in the air. Across him, Rhykdohr hovered with resolute as he shimmered like a white star with both arms serving as holy blades, pulsating with divine energy.
Alucard struck first, summoning a colossal wave of shadow fire that devoured the landscape in an inferno of destruction.
Rhykdohr responded with a radiant barrier of white flame, splitting the shadow fire and retaliating with a beam of pure energy that carved through the darkness. The impact of their collision tore the earth apart, sending massive chunks of debris into the sky as mountains crumbled in the distance.
Their duel raged on, a storm of devastating attacks. Alucard’s monstrous claws met Rhykdohr’s divine blades, each clash creating shockwaves that leveled forests and dried up rivers. The two combatants moved like blurs as their strikes obliterated everything in their path.
Yet, despite the chaos, neither gained the upper hand. Alucard’s unholy resilience matched Rhykdohr’s divine precision and glorious will. The destruction they left behind was apocalyptic, yet the stalemate only fueled their desire to defeat the opponent.
"Too bad, but your opponent is not just one demon king." Gorath punched the Human Deity with his newly regenerated arm, full of vengeance force.
"Ghak!" Rhykdohr got slammed to the ground with a supersonic speed. He didn’t see the ambush because his attention was focused on the blood fiend. Everything was because of that blood fiend’s undispellable taunt skill!
"How dare you to launch a sneak attack from behind. How cowardly of you." Rhykdohr immediately shot back into the sky, trying to cut the sneaky demonic beast into pieces.
"Hey, your opponent is me." Alucard smirked widely, drawing all of his opponent’s attention and focus to himself. The other demon kings could help him break the stalemate!
The clash between Rhykdohr and the three demon kings ensued, witnessed by the injured hero party who could only watch from afar with both awe, fear, and worry.
"Is this the power of a demon kings?" Mashiro muttered softly, feeling so small and weak. His party embarked on a journey to slay such a monster...
They had just stepped out to carry out their holy mission, but the first hurdle they encountered was so big and severe. It was like the first chapter got changed from demon mobs into a final boss stage instead.
The battle had yet to pass ten minutes, but two knights got killed and more than half of the troops were injured after being blown away by the sudden high-level explosion.
The white star expert was at a disadvantage because the enemies were three super-powerful demons. Considering the six high-level demons they faced a moment ago, it would only be a matter of time before the white star expert was defeated and the hero party would be wiped out.
