"What do you think about the six demon generals?" Miko asked the assault reinforcement team because they were the ones who helped the hero expedition party handle those demon generals.

"We need multiple people just to gain a slight advantage. They are formidable opponents." Gabriella looked at her hand, and she could still feel the demonic energy’s tremor when facing the demon general.

Michael, Azrael, Jophiel, and Kirara also expressed their opinions. They required a full party, or it would be difficult to slay a Demi God-level demon and above.

"It would be dangerous if they fall into a desperate situation." Miko nodded proudly. Her disciples could rival a Demi-God even though they were still at the 6th Rank threshold.

"They don’t seem to have come just because of their curiosity about the heroes of humanity. I feel like the demon kings aimed for something else." Uriel adjusted her magic glasses, aware of what her master didn’t say.

"Precisely. Their aim was something else..." Shiina crossed her arms.

She secretly glanced at the Glorious God who had just returned to the hero expedition party in his disguise. The Hellburn Dracula changed the plan because of him, and the clash broke out because the demon kings wished to capture him.

"Then..." Uriel looked at her master, asking for guidance.

However, someone interrupted in a high tone. Genevieve, the imperial princess, stood in between. "Wait, did you arrive at the vicinity since the clash occurred? Why did you only send reinforcements after the blast destroyed our formation? What are you planning?"

"Princess, you are being too agitated." Miko shook her head.

"But, if your party chooses to help us early, we can slay the demon generals and possibly the demon kings." Genevieve complained as she couldn’t help it. She was scared, and it was the first time where she felt that she would truly die.

"There is a strategy in war. You barely know anything about the enemies. If it weren’t for the hidden expert who arrived in time, the demon kings and the demon generals might have wiped you out before reinforcements arrived." Miko shook her head once again.

"..." Genevieve went silent because she couldn’t argue more. She took a deep breath and immediately apologized. "Sorry."

"Strategy in war... so, the demon kings immediately retreated because the Elysion Church’s main party is nearby, and they can’t afford if another Deity comes against them. But, what is their main purpose?" Nyla as the wisest in the hero party adjusted her glasses and understood what Shrine Priestess Miko wished to say, but she still couldn’t understand the demon kings’ true purpose.

"Who knows?" Uriel took off her magic glasses.

"Ah, uhm?" Nyla was about to say something to Miss Uri because she felt they had many things in common. She also wished to befriend Miss Uri. However, Shrine Priestess Miko suddenly walked away towards the fallen knights, and more than half of the Elysion Church party followed closely behind.

"Thank you for your reinforcements, Shrine Priestess Miko." Mashiro expressed his gratitude. Although, he felt a little embarrassed because his party suffered in their first encounter.

"It’s not worth mentioning, White Hero. I can see your improvement. Once you grasp the time limit, you can avoid the severe repercussions." Miko looked at the White Hero, feeling a little relieved because he was still fine even though he used his final hero form just a while ago.

"Thank you for your advice." Mashiro felt proud of that. He managed to grasp the deeper essence of his power and blessing. It would only be a matter of time until he fully mastered it.

"..." Miko returned to her serene demeanor and went past the White Hero, standing before the fallen knights. Two people lay on the ground covered in thin white cloth. They were no longer alive, but she could see their souls were still there.

"???" Mashiro and everyone were silent for a moment, wondering what Shrine Priestess Miko wished to do.

"It is not yet your time to die here. Rise, O knights." Miko waved her hand and pulled the departed souls back into their bodies.

The departed souls got pulled by an unknown force, and they got sucked into their own bodies. Before long, the two fallen knights twitched a bit and then moved their fingers. A moment later, they moved their hands to remove the cloth covering their bodies.

"I’m, am I still alive?"

"It’s hurt! I’m back to life!"

The two knights expressed their gratitude. They then looked at the Shrine Priestess Miko, understanding the angel before them was the sacred lady who revived them. They wished to express their utmost gratitude, but just by moving their bodies a little, they felt that they would soon die again. The pain was unbearable, and they groaned in pain soon after.

"Healers, please heal them and help them to recover." Miko took several steps back, beckoning the hero expedition party’s healers to their posts.

"Y-yes!" Katsue immediately responded and cast healing magic on the newly revived knights, assisted by two additional healers.

Everyone was amazed at the miracle that had just happened, but in the eyes of the healers, they looked at the Shrine Priestess Miko like a Deity, the true light of miracles, the sacred saintess with the power to revive the dead!

*Zap*

Silvermoon emerged out of thin air and landed behind Miko. She covered her mouth and conveyed the information via a protected whisper so nobody could overhear her.

"!?" Several warriors and heroes put their hands on their weapons, shocked by the silver-haired elf’s sudden arrival. They thought it was an assassin targeting Shrine Priestess Miko, but apparently, this silver-haired elf was the Elysion Church’s party member.

"Alright, thank you, Silvermoon. They’ve fully retreated." Miko appreciated Silvermoon’s effort.

Silvermoon had just tracked the demon kings and demon generals because such an urgent swift teleportation wouldn’t bring them too far from the scene. Once the escape route was found, Silvermoon threw a nerve-damaging poison bomb at them, forcing them to retreat once again to the unknown faraway place.

Those three demon kings wouldn’t pull anything anytime soon because that bomb caused damage to their nervous systems. As for what the potent neurotoxicity would do to those demons, no one could tell for sure, but those demons would definitely suffer for some time.

"Heroes, you should rest here until you recover. This area should be safe as those demons won’t launch another strike right after their retreat." Miko spread her arms, advising the hero expedition party.

"Thank you for your suggestion, Shrine Priestess Miko. But, may I know what you will do? Is it possible for you to move with us as a party?" Jensen came forward, trying to invite the Elysion Church’s cooperation.

If the Elysion Church cooperated with them, it would make the entire mission at least three times safer and easier, especially since the Elysion Church’s party came with so many reliable and powerful experts.

The hero party and the young prodigies honestly wished for it as well. Some of them sincerely wished for Elysion Church’s assistance because of the Elysion Church’s capabilities, but quite a few of them wished for it because the Elysion Church’s party was mostly filled with rare beauties.

"We’re back~" Alicia waved her hand from the sky and soon landed smoothly.

"What took you so long to return?" Daemyx sighed.

"We explored the forest for a bit before returning." Myra responded shortly. After that, she saluted Shrine Priestess Miko and delivered her report.

"Thank you for your assistance, Holy Knight Myra, Grand Magus Alicia." Miko put her hands together, pleased by the result.

Because the demon kings were bleeding, a demon king even got his arm and hand severed, the poison bomb thrown by Silvermoon would inflict greater damage and efficiency.

"It’s all thanks to you, milady. They were weaker than I thought. Our blessing of light suppressed their demonic energy." Alicia was honored, but she put the credit back because she shouldn’t be too complacent.

"Excuse me, but what happened to the old man, I mean, the white star expert? Is he okay? Where is he now?" Mashiro interjected in worry.

If it weren’t for that expert, the entire hero expedition party would suffer greatly and possibly be wiped out. They weren’t ready for this kind of ambush because powerful enemies were supposed to come one by one, not all at once like before. Regardless, he was sure the expert was injured before reinforcements arrived.

"Slight injuries are nothing for a Deity. He left shortly after the demon kings withdrew. You should ask him because he should know more about him." Myra pointed her hand to the imperial princess.

Honestly, she was wondering why the imperial princess and the so-called faithful servant of the Glorious God couldn’t even recognize the God they worshipped when the said God was present among them. He might be disguised and almost impossible to identify, but he exposed his divine power just a moment ago.

If it was her, she might be unable to recognize the Goddess she worshiped if the Supreme Goddess wouldn’t allow her. But, she would be able to recognize it right away if her Goddess exposed even a slight divine aura to her. The aura was similar to Shrine Priestess Miko’s, the daughter of the Supreme Goddess, but far stronger and divine.

"Erm, he should be the imperial family ancestor or the empire’s six pillars. He saved us this time, but it’ll be hard to say for the second time. We’re on our own once we get away from the imperial city." Genevieve put her hand to her chin.

"He’s probably Lord Galashiels..." Mashiro nodded in understanding. The empire did possess several powerhouses, and he knew the imperial family ancestor, Lord Galashiels, the Human Deity who was wary of the demon kings.

"I believe you can do it, heroes. Look up and step forward. Your journey should proceed as you originally envisioned. We may meet again in a few weeks. Until we meet again~" Miko waved her hand.

She and her entire party turned around, walking away. Alicia opened a teleportation magic portal and they soon vanished, leaving no footprints behind. However, the heroes were still staring at the spot where the Elysion Church’s party had previously been, lost in thought over what Shrine Priestess Miko had said.
