My Goddess is Good at Pretending-Chapter 700: Shy but Want More
Elysia had just come out of her seclusion along with her pantheon members. Unfortunately, only Zi Xuan, Sakura, and Yuna welcomed them upon their return. Miko brought the ten core disciples and some of the temporary power of Elysion Church to fulfill the reinforcement promise to the summoned heroes.
Some things happened, and Miko couldn’t use direct teleportation. It would take time for the spaceship assigned to Miko to arrive. Therefore, she and everyone returned to the Sacred Shrine to wait for Miko’s party to return.
In the meantime, those at the 10th Rank or below had to adjust and stabilize their spiritual foundations due to the intense polyvalent cultivation with the Goddesses, requiring them to meditate under the warm sun in the open air.
"Hmm~" Elena rested her cheek on her palm, looking at the new followers with extremely high faith.
They chose a few chosen people with the highest faith to join their cultivation method. Alicia became the most remarkable one even though it hadn’t been long since this former witch ancestor joined their religion to serve Elysia.
[ Alicia | 1st Generation Witch | Female (5,874) | 10th Rank ]
[ Faith: 100% ]
[ Talent: 5 Stars | Ultra Rare ]
’Her faith is so remarkable. It’s 100%. I believe that if you asked her to commit suicide, she would not question anything and kill herself.’ Elena threw a joke with a soft laugh.
’That’s a harsh analogy...’ Elysia felt a little shocked. She wouldn’t do such a thing to her faithful followers. Moreover, her bond with Alicia, her most reliable and obedient witch, had deepened because of the polyvalent cultivation method.
’I’m sure she started from 9th Rank two months ago. Her faith has been 100% since Ely saved the witches and punished that world’s humanity by removing magic from that world.’ Lifa closed one eye, glancing at Alicia.
’That’s because of your kindness, Master Ely~ You gave them a place where they belong, their new home, with all of the love to their magical efforts.’ Rhea hugged Elysia’s arm, feeling extremely satisfied and happy as she recalled the polyvalent cultivation technique.
’Hmm, she has lived for more than five thousand years. She just wanted to settle down and serve the one worthy of her. Despite humanity’s betrayal, she still served that world for so many years until they almost got wiped out entirely by the ones they swore to protect. I don’t know if she was foolish or just extremely loyal to their duty.’ Nell sighed.
’That’s the past. It doesn’t matter anymore because most witches know the laws of the world and how to appreciate kindness. Their faith in Ely is really good, all witches are above 90%, except that boy... he’s only at 80 to 90%.’ Fortuna sipped her warm tea calmly.
’Speaking of faith, even I, the newly recruited one, am at 94%, why are you 1% lower than me, divine owl? I thought Ely’s Goddess Sisters were all supposed to be at 100%.’ Darkness opened her Elysium Channel, checking Fortuna’s status screen with a skeptical look.
’That...’ Fortuna was taken aback. She immediately checked her status screen via Elysium Channel and was shocked because her faith in Elysia was only 93% even though they were connected spiritually and literally physically as well.
’Fortuna’s initial faith and awe are anchored to my dear sister Elena.’ Elysia closed her eyes with a faint smile. She already knew Fortuna admired Elena more than to her.
’Oow~’ Darkness covered her mouth, feeling shocked. She then smirked as if mocking Fortuna. ’Oh my, are you trying to steal Elena from Ely? She is taken, and because there is no chance, you choose to be Elysia’s so you can try Elena as a sister? What a deep scheme.’
’No, it’s not like that. Master Ely, you know... you should know my faith the best. I even shared everything with no secret or condition...’ Fortuna stuttered at Darkness’ accusation.
’Don’t tease Fortuna all the time, Darkness. The Elysium System is a bit tricky. Once you connected to the Elysium Channel through me, only faith above 95% is capable, the faith percentage works like a mood instead of a faith value of the followers.’ Elysia analyzed her Elysium Channel and she found it was like a bug in her system.
’Yeah, when your faith is above 95%, it will never go down even once. It’s not much of a difference between 96% or 100%. It’s just, yes, this faith panel to the Elysium members served like an affection mood instead...’ Rhea rested her head on Elysia’s shoulder, watching as Elysia fixed the Elysium Channel.
’It’s fixed now.’ Elysia made a victory hand sign.
[Fortuna (FV: 32,689) | Goddess of Fate and Fortune | 12th Rank]
[Faith: 100% | Affection: 93%]
[Talent: 7 Stars | Heavenly(1)]
’Wow, it changed!’ Darkness exclaimed.
’Is it affection now? I thought it was mood...’ Fortuna felt a little embarrassed because it was exposed now.
’Affection is more fitting, fufu.’ Lifa nudged Elena with a small laugh.
’Yeah... I obtain a little sister who loves me, but nothing can replace Ely as my 1st, alright?’ Elena raised her finger, reminding Fortuna as if it was important.
’Err, please excuse me. We exchanged words via telepathy, and it caused Yuna, Zi Xuan, and Sakura to feel left out.’ Gaia raised her hand, feeling a little awkward to say it.
’No worry. Luna, Yuuki, Sylvia, Xentia, and Vanessa are with them.’ Ai crossed her arms.
’But, they’re done talking, and they’re staring at us now.’ Gaia pointed to the table next to her.
’???’ Elysia looked back, wondering why Luna, Yuuki, Sylvia, Xentia, and Vanessa never joined their telepathic conversation even though they should have heard it via the Elysium Channel.
"Hm?" Elysia blinked her eyes in wonder when she found her girls just sitting in silence, but their faces were slightly flushed with a dreamy expression.
"Girls, may I know what’s on your mind?" Elysia got up from her seat and joined the other table.
"Uhm, mm..." Yuuki put her hands on her cheeks as her face became even redder.
She recalled the dreamy experience during the polyvalent cultivation, and when she remembered that her master’s origin and essence went in and out of her body, and also the pleasant sensation, it made her feel both embarrassed and happy. It satisfied her spiritually and physically which was no less than her master’s soul touch.

"Oh my, that was truly a new pleasant experience. It was more than our joy of the night, master. I think we should retreat in seclusion once a month or maybe once a week!" Luna put her hands together, expecting it with great expectation.
"Well, the perfected version needs a week to flow through everyone. Once a week is impossible, but if it’s once a month, that’s what we’ll do in preparation for the Nirvana Great War." Elysia stroked Luna and Yuuki’s heads.
"Is this what it really feels like to belong to someone completely? It’s amazing, and this is going to be our routine?" Sylvia smiled mischievously as she nudged Yuuki and Vanessa.
"..." Yuuki just nodded, agreeing with it even though she was too embarrassed. She enjoyed the process, and the benefit that all participants could obtain was a real deal.
"Meow~" Vanessa rubbed her face. She recalled all she had to do was cooperate with her master’s energy essence using her body as a catalyst. Her master cultivated with multiplier result, and she also obtained many benefits with double the gain with half the effort.
"They’ll get addicted, master. We need to do something, or they’ll demand more and become spoiled." Xentia closed one eye, glancing meaningfully at Luna.
"We won’t bother, master. Don’t just talk nonsense, Xen." Luna pouted.
"Hehe, that can be called one of our family’s bonding techniques. Do you like it?" Elysia chuckled lightly, feeling amused and relieved because everyone was happy with it.
"Hm-mm!~" Sylvia, Vanessa and Luna replied with an immediate response. Yuuki and Xentia were a bit shy, but they would definitely participate in the next session.
"Err... what have you been talking about? Previously, it was telepathy, secret conversations, and now a topic I don’t understand..." Yuna scratched her head, trying to understand what these ladies were talking about, but she couldn’t comprehend it well. The girls looked a bit shy, but all of them looked beaming with happiness, radiant as if rejuvenated too.
"?!" Zi Xuan stared at Lady Yuna with an incredulous gaze. As an ancient being with several eons of experience, she couldn’t believe this lady was unaware of things when it was already so obvious.
However, she then flushed red as she recalled that she would join the one-week seclusion with Elysium Pantheon next month. Actually, she could follow with this week’s session, but she was not mentally prepared, especially since she had to manage Sacred Sakura in this turbulent time over Sacred Sakura’s grand plan against the lurking great evils.
"Hehe, you know when you know~" Elena replied with a playful tone.
"Hmm..." Yuna pursed her lips, feeling dissatisfied, but she didn’t dare to ask again.
A few moments later, the spaceship returned safely. It might be the first experience for all the ship’s crew to cross the world by passing through the vast ocean and the world barrier without teleportation.
The ocean was so vast, covering almost 70% of the planet. What the land could offer was just less than half of the charm that the world possessed, but it also indicated the looming great evils under the sea were far more numerous than on land.
Since they had yet to deal with underwater affairs, except for the Mermaid Kingdom, they simply put the matter aside for the time being. Fortunately, Miko’s return journey was always in the sky, above the clouds. No mythical or sky-overlord beasts dared to challenge Xentia’s spaceship. Even if there was something that tried to block the path, the spaceship would turn the troublemakers into crispy charcoal for sure.
"Mama, we’re back~" Miko threw herself into her mama’s arms.
"Oh dear, you’ve worked hard. Your fever is gone." Elysia hugged Miko as she put her hand on Miko’s forehead.
"That was a carelessness on my part. I didn’t pay attention to my surroundings when using my ultimate move, and that forced Miko to use too much mana to protect everyone, causing her to collapse. Please punish me." Shiina immediately knelt down, bowing her head in guilt.
She was guilty and she had to admit it because it could become a severe matter if Miko was the one who said it to Supreme Goddess Mama.
"Hm..." Elysia averted her gaze, staring at Shiina.
"..." Shiina shuddered as she broke in a cold sweat.
"It wasn’t Lady Shiina’s fault. It was the demon king’s fault. He’s gone and dealt with. Do you want to hear the tale about the heroes against the demon king, mama? I’ll tell you!"
"Haha, alright."
Miko pulled her mama’s hand, and Elysia laughed softly at that. Elysia knew the entire matter, and she never blamed Shiina, to begin with. The entire matter occurred in the unstable sealed space. Miko made the right decision even though it drained most of Miko’s energy to protect everyone, and the lost energy could always be recovered.
