My Harem Will Help Me Get My Revenge-Chapter 23: The Predator (Part - I)
Chapter 23 - The Predator (Part - I)
Chapter - 23
Looking totally stumped with what was happening around him, Lucius sat in the backseat, watching them drive further and further off road.
He didn't need Spidey sense to know that he was in trouble.
"Hey! Stop the car. Now," Lucius snapped at the driver.
But the driver just glanced at him through the rear view mirror and smiled mischievously.
Now it was a fight to survive. Lucius quickly reached for the door... locked.
"Damn it," Lucius kicked the driver's seat, "I said, stop the fucking car!"
But it all fell in deaf ears. And that was it.
Lucius lunged forward, and wrapped his arm around the driver's neck, "I am not playing games with you no more bastard. Pullover or I will break your neck. I am not joking."
"Ugghhhh!" The driver growled as he struggled to breathe.
The driver threw his arm, trying to grab Lucius's hair. But Lucius hid well behind the seat.
"Let go of me... Ughhh... You little shit," The driver yelled. But when he could not get a hold of Lucius, he tried to reach out for something near the dashboard.
As he watched the driver move, Lucius didn't wait. He jumped forward, letting go of his neck. He quickly grabbed the steering wheel and yanked hard to the right.
The tires screeched as the car swerved.
"You want to die, you bastard?" the driver yelled, struggling to regain control.
Meanwhile, Lucius struggled to climb halfway into the front, punching the man in the side of the face.
"Shit!" The driver grunted in pain, but he wasn't backing down. He slipped his hand inside his coat.
Lucius saw the glint of metal... Gun? But he was a second late.
The driver pulled out a can.
With a sharp hiss, a thick gas sprayed directly into Lucius's face.
Lucius coughed violently as the gas hit hard on his face. Trying to turn away, he lost his grip on the steering wheel.
In no time, his eyes burned and the vision began to blur.
But even then, Lucius did not give up. He did not stop. He threw another punch, this one slower and sloppier, but it hit the driver right on his nose.
"Ugghhh... You persistent little bitch," The driver cursed. This prey of his was the trickiest.
Finally the driver slammed the brakes. This made Lucius lose control as he fell forward.
Taking this opportunity the driver hit Lucius on the face with his elbow and shoved him back.
And it was his last struggle. The world around him spun fast. He tried to move, but his body wouldn't listen to him anymore. Finally he slumped back into the seat.
The driver looked at the unconscious Lucius and wiped the blood from his mouth.
"This fucking brat," he muttered, "So damn annoying."
"But just right for what I need," The driver licked it with a twisted smile.

In an old abandoned house somewhere deep in the forest.
The wooden walls of the house were weak, cracked like dry bones. One good hit and the whole house would come crumbling down.
The windows were shattered... They were like empty black holes that felt like eyes, watching their every move.
Clink... Clink... Clink...
A sharp sound echoed through the silent and eerie surroundings of the house. Metal scraping against metal.
And that sound of metal hitting with metal woke up Lucius. His eyes snapped open with a jolt.
His head pounded like a drum and his body was stiff. He blinked through the dim, dusty light, trying to focus. And he could smell rust, mold... and blood in the air.
He moved his neck slowly, trying to scan the surroundings.
He was in a room. It was old, damp, and crumbling. Paint was peeling off the walls like some dry skin.
It didn't look like the room was ever cleaned. Cobwebs clung to every corner. The floor was dusty and would creak at the slightest movement.
Lucius looked down. His arms and legs were tied to a metal chair with rope. He flexed his wrists slowly, trying to test the strength of the knot.
'Too tight to slip out... for now,' Lucius didn't panic. Fear would never help, but thinking smart might.
Sensing that he had no way to escape right now, Lucius turned his attention towards the driver who stood near the old wooden table, humming a tune.
A bunch of tools neatly lay on the table— Scalpel, scissors, tongs, knives, hammer, axe etc.
'This guy's organized... methodical. He's done this before,' Lucius didn't get scared. But his brain began to analyse the man.
Meanwhile the man was not aware of the fact that Lucius was already awake. He just kept humming and smiling to himself, like this was some kind of art project.
"Ahemm... " His throat was dry, but Lucius spoke weakly, "I must say, at least you don't have that OCD thing trending on tiktok these days."
Hearing Lucius, the driver paused in what he was doing. He turned his head slightly, the smile still on his face.
Lucius kept talking, buying time, "Old house. Ropes. Rusty tools. And the creepy humming of the villain. I have seen it in every cheap horror film I have been watching these days."
"What's next? A speech about pain?"
"How you will free me from the shackles of this ungrateful earth."
Hearing Lucius, the driver said nothing and continued to smile.
Meanwhile, Lucius was a bit confused. His mind was racing with questions— Why me? Why here? What does he want?
Finally the driver's humming stopped and he turned, eyes narrowing as he stared at Lucius.
"You woke up sooner than I thought," he said in a low, creepy tone. He tapped his gloved finger on a scalpel, tilting his head like he was studying a painting, "No problem. We can start early."
He turned back to his table, hands gliding over a row of tools—scalpels, pliers, blades, a saw. His fingers paused at an old axe.

"This one feels just right for you," he muttered, lifting it, "Let's see how long you last, strong man."
"Untie me," Lucius said calmly, "And I might give you a pounding, you couldn't give your wife."
The driver chuckled darkly, "I like fighters. They scream the best."
Lucius smiled faintly, "And I like idiots. They die the fastest."
The driver's grin widened hearing Lucius. He put down the axe and picked up a rusted knife. He tested the knife for his edge.
"Naah..." Though he was satisfied, the driver shook his head, "I guess I will try something new with you," with that he picked up a syringe.
"You know what this is?" The driver held the syringe in his hand and asked.
Lucius's eyes narrowed, 'Sedative. Fast-acting. Maybe paralytic.'
"I am sure your pretty face doesn't have the brains to actually understand even if I explained. So I will just say it in simple terms."
"This thing will heighten your senses. You can smell 10 times better, You can hear sounds 10 times louder..."
"And if we go by that logic, why do you think I am giving this to you?" The driver asked with a creepy smile.
"You want me to feel it..." Lucius replied looking at the syringe in the driver's hand, "You want me to feel the pain. 10 times more pain."
"Bingo!!! You aren't that dumb after all," The driver threw his arms in excitement.
"But you are just as dumb as I had expected. The cliche... Can't even think something original," Lucius shook his head in disappointment, "Fucking copycat."
"You have fire. And that's what is driving me crazy for you," The driver acknowledged, "But the thing about fire is that sooner or later, it burns out."
The driver picked up a small metal drum and placed it in front of Lucius, ready to sit.
Just as the driver stepped closer, Lucius kicked the metal drum.
WHAM!
It slammed straight into the man's knee with a loud CRACK!
"AAARGHHH!" the driver screamed, stumbling forward. He crashed onto the drum, and the syringe slipped from his hand, clattering to the floor.
Lucius didn't stop. He stood up and flipped forward...
THUD!
Lucius bound to the chair came crashing down on the man. The driver let out a sharp, guttural scream as his body got crushed between the heavy drum and the wooden chair.
CRACK!
The chair splintered under his weight, and the impact from the driver.
As the chair broke, the ropes around Lucius's arm loosened. He gritted his teeth through the burning pain and yanked his hands free.
The driver groaned beneath him, coughing blood, his face twisted in pain, "You... You bastard—"
But Lucius didn't let him finish.
He grabbed a broken chair leg from the floor and...
THWACK!
Lucius smashed the wooden leg across the man's face.
CRUNCH!
It felt like a bone cracked. The wood in his hand snapped and blood spewed out of his mouth. And with that, the driver dropped like a rock, choking and gasping.
Lucius stood over the driver, his face calm and eyes ice cold, "You picked the wrong guy."
