My Hitman System-Chapter 141: Catching Eye (E)
The time was 5 AM.
In a large room filled with computer monitors and wires forty people were going about with what seemed to be like their regular business.
If not for the blue lights coming from the dozens of monitors that encircled the room, it would be hard to see anything in that room.
On some screens, there were maps of different areas, some had information about weapons dealings, some showed the CCTV footage of famous politicians and businessmen, and on others, there was information that only a few in the society had access to.
The person in charge of these people was a woman named Anna. She held the title of the Head of the Intelligence department in KIA's Valeyria branch.
A person who was responsible for monitoring the Killer's promotion exam immediately rushed from his seat with a bunch of papers and approached Anna.
"What's the matter, Bobby?" Anna frowned, seeing Bobby in a confused state. He was an experienced individual, and she expected better from him.
"Ma'am, there seems to be something wrong with the test…" Bobby voiced out his confusion and handed over the papers to Anna.
Anna took the papers, and as she went through them, Bobby explained things to her.
"As you know, we started the test at 1 AM and made sure the difficulty was very high. From the past records, the best assassins who we had had finished similar level tests by taking at least 15 hours, but this person, named William he was able to complete it in just 3 hours!
At first, I thought he was trying to fool us and was going to penalise him after confirmation, but it turned out to be true! Our source at the target's mansion revealed that the target was dead and William's codename was engraved on the wall."
When Bobby finished with his briefing, Anna's eyes were still fixed on the papers on which a picture of the site had been pasted. On the wall behind the bodies, the acronym ZED was clearly visible to her. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
'ZED huh? Has our branch finally got someone at the level of those bastards in the main branch?' She snorted at the thought in ridicule. She felt that this was just a coincidence.
However, it was better to be absolutely sure in her line of profession, so as she handed back the papers to Bobby, and said the following words to him, "Observe him more carefully from now, if his next mission is also completed in record time, furnish his details on my desk,"
"Yes, ma'am," Bobby replied and went back to his seat.

By afternoon, Jin had successfully shifted into Fana's house and had finished arranging his stuff.
After having a good lunch together, they left to see the designer who was mentioned by Fana yesterday.
"Fana, you're here!" A woman in her late forties wearing a pink hat the brim of which reached her shoulders welcomed Fana with a hug and kissed her cheeks before finally noticing Jin.
"Oh! It's Jin Blaker! You look even more handsome in person. My goodness! I can think of so many designs from just looking at his manly physique," The woman praised as her eyes observed Jin's body from top to bottom.
Being scrutinised in such a fashion by a person was a first for Jin, so he couldn't help but feel weirded out by the woman's deep, penetrating gaze.
"Yes, Angelica, he's Jin Blaker, my current boyfriend and my future husband. Isn't that right, Jin?" Fana asked Jin with a cheerful grin as she wrapped her right hand around Jin's waist.
"You cannot be more right, Fana," Jin smiled back at her, and his hand caressed her cheek.
"Gosh! You two look so perfect together!" Angelica commented at the sight.
"Don't we? So you better make sure to prepare a perfect matching pair for us for the LIFA awards." Fana said the next moment.
"Have I ever disappointed you previously, Fana? Just trust me and you two will own the stage that day. Let's go to my design room where we can discuss a design you two could agree upon." Angelica said and enthusiastically led them to the design room.
It was only three and a half hours later that they exited Angelica's showroom.
"Wasn't it fun?!" Fana asked excitedly.
"Fun…it was exhausting. I thought it would at most take an hour," Jin muttered.
"Didn't she say that since we look so perfect together in almost everything, it ended up taking a lot more time than usual…hehe," Fana expressed her jolly mood as they walked towards the car.
'Well, seeing her like this makes the 20 million Draks worth it,' Jin thought and got inside the car.
At home, he got to try Fana's hand-made dishes like promised, and they spent the rest of the day cuddled together watching various shows on the television.
It was around half past 12 at night when Fana was still focused on the TV screen that Jin's fingers gently reached for her neck and pressed a pressure point.
He then gently placed her head on the pillow and switched off the lights.
It was now time for him to perform his next mission.
He soon got ready and left her house. In the car, he took out his second phone from his inventory. Now that he was living together with Fana, he couldn't afford to let her tamper with it and erase all its data.
When the clock struck one, a new mission was displayed on the screen just like the day before.
This time, the target was a politician's 27-year-old son.
Jin once again bought a map and located the target in a farmhouse located just 10 km outside the city.
The next moment, his car silently left Fana's driveway.
Taking advantage of the almost clear traffic, he reached the target in 25 minutes and left his vehicle.
To his surprise, while there were only 5 guards in total, they all were equipped with shotguns and looked very vigilant.
"The intel only mentioned that he was a politician's son, so why are these guards on high alert?" Jin muttered to himself and sneaked his way past the bushes and entered the farmhouse through its walls.
A guard was taking a round around the swimming pool. Jin sneaked behind him and with a fentanyl injection ended him.
With this, two guards were left guarding the entrance, and two were inside the house.
Jin observed their movements on the map.
Just when a guard separated and went for what looked like a washroom, Jin entered the house and, in the same manner, killed the guard who was enjoying his pee break.
The last guard guarding the target's room was met with a 9mm straight to his head, and the target also shared a similar fate.
After engraving his codename on the blood-drenched wooden floor, Jin soon left the place.
