My Husband Is a Million Years Old Vampire-Chapter 119
Chapter 119: Chapter 119
"Yes he did, and he even held my wrist"
The moment those words left Valentina’s lips, Raymond’s entire presence shifted. His once calm, relaxed posture stiffened, and a dark storm brewed in his eyes. The playful smirk that had graced his face moments ago was gone, replaced by a deadly silence that sent a suffocating chill through the air.
Then a low, dangerous growl rumbled from his chest, his fingers curling into tight, controlled fists. The veins in his arms and neck throbbed, his breathing becoming slow and sharp—a clear sign that the predator within him was awakening.
His lips barely parted, but when he spoke, his voice was lethal, dripping with animosity that could freeze fire itself.
"That bastard... dared to touch you?"
Valentina nodded slowly, watching the subtle tremor in his hands, the way his shoulders rose and fell with controlled rage. But her confirmation was enough to ignite the full force of Raymond’s wrath.
Immediately the room darkened, as if even the very air bent under his fury.
His fangs elongated.
The sharp edges of his canines glistened under the light, a haunting reminder of what lurked beneath his usual composed exterior. His jaw tightened, his nostrils flaring as he fought the primal urge to destroy whatever dared to harm what was his.
His chest rose and fell heavily, but the way his fingers twitched, the way his knuckles whitened from how tightly he clenched his fists, was a clear indication that he was seconds away from snapping.
Valentina exhaled shakily, reaching for her arm, her fingers brushing over the sore area where Sebastian had grabbed her.
"My wrist," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. "They’re hurting too."
That was it, immediately Something inside Raymond snapped.
His eyes glowed, an unnatural, predatory hue, his entire presence exuding an unnerving, bone-chilling aura.
His muscles tensed, his breath slowing, calculating.
’Sebastian...Would regret this.’
Raymond’s voice was firm, unwavering, cutting through the phone like a blade.
"Valentina, you’re hurt. I’m coming to take you to the hospital."
Upon hearing what Raymond Valentina sighed, shaking her head, her hand still throbbing from Sebastian’s vice-like grip. "Raymond, it’s not that serious. I don’t need to go to the hospital."
However Raymond wasn’t having it. "No. Wait for me. I’m on my way."
She could already picture his sharp eyes darkening, his jaw tightening in that signature look of his when he was pissed off. But what struck her was that he didn’t even mention Sebastian’s name. Not once.
His only concern? Her.
A small, warm feeling flickered inside Valentina, but she quickly pushed it aside. This wasn’t the time for emotions.
"Fine," she relented. "Since you’re coming, we’ll talk about some other things when you get here."
Raymond’s voice remained steady, but something about it carried weight.
"Alright."
And with that, the call ended.
At that moment Raymond didn’t waste a second.
He clenched his phone tightly, his knuckles turning white.
Without hesitation, he pulled up another contact and pressed the call button.
His fingers tapped against the table impatiently as the phone rang.
Benjamin, on the other end, stared at his buzzing phone screen, his brow furrowing.
Without being told he could tell Something about this call felt different.
And from the way Raymond’s name flashed on his screen, he had a feeling that this wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation.
At that moment Benjamin swallowed hard, his fingers tightening around his phone as he listened to the deadly calm in Raymond’s voice.
"Everything related to the Sebastian family," Raymond said, his voice like a blade slicing through the air, "I want it gone. Every last piece of it. I want them to crumble."
Benjamin could feel the weight of the command pressing down on him. His chest tightened.
"You have five minutes."
Raymond’s tone held no room for negotiation, no room for hesitation.
"If you fail, Benjamin, that means you’ve disrespected me."
Immediately Benjamin didn’t dare breathe. His mind raced, heart pounding against his ribs.
He knew exactly what Raymond meant by
"disrespected"—and the consequences of it.
He had heard that same voice in Raymond’s before. The last time had been when he lost Valentina.
That was the only other time Benjamin had witnessed this kind of fury.
But now? Now, Raymond hadn’t lost Valentina.
And yet, he was still this mad.
Benjamin’s hands moved instinctively, fingers flying over his phone as he sent out a single command to his team.
Sebastian’s family empire was about to fall.
Benjamin leaned back in his leather chair, his fingers tapping rhythmically against the mahogany desk. His gaze was sharp, calculating.
Something wasn’t right.
Without a second thought, he reached for his phone. A direct call was needed.
The weight of the situation demanded immediate action.
His fingers glided across the screen, dialing a number that hadn’t been called in years.
Immediately a deep, gravelly voice picked up on the other end, hesitant—as if sensing the danger behind the call.
"L- Lord George Kaden?"
The voice trembled.
However Lord George Kaden didn’t respond immediately.
Instead, he let the silence stretch—a suffocating pause that made the man on the other end uneasy.
"It’s been years."
His tone was low, steady—yet it carried a weight that could crush a man.
At that moment the man on the other end swallowed hard. "I-I wasn’t expecting your call."
"I know." Lord George Kaden leaned forward, his voice turning lethal. "And that is exactly why I’m calling you now."
There was a sharp inhale, the sound of a chair creaking as the man likely sat up straighter, his nerves on high alert.
"What—what can I do for you, Lord George Kaden?"
Lord Charles smirked, his gaze darkening.
"I suggest you listen carefully."
The manager’s hand trembled as he gripped his phone, his face turning a shade paler with every passing second. A cold sweat trickled down his spine as the authoritative voice of Lord George Kaden came through the line.
"Sebastian’s family... I assume you know them?"
The manager swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry.
"Y-Yes, my lord," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
His mind raced, trying to understand why the Kaden family patriarch was personally calling about the Sebastian family.
"Good," Lord George Kaden continued, his tone sharp as a blade.
"Then you should also know that when it comes to their growth—their business, their investments, their success—everything has been backed by us."
