Above a stretch of white clouds, the horizon caught the crimson of the rising sun, its light spreading in quiet bands across the sky. Overhead, stars still lingered, faint but steady, as if reluctant to give way to day.

Yet none of it was real. The clouds, the light, the stars — every detail was a projection, a landscape built from code and numbers. And in that constructed expanse, four androids gathered, their meeting set against a sky designed to look infinite.

When they could have communicated everything they wanted from each other, through less than one second, going through a meeting like this couldn't be any more inefficient.

Yet they were going through it… pretending to be humans and talking like a humans, in a space no human could enter.

Zero, Alpha, and Beta, gathered together in front of Iris, each were going about their current situation in report like manner.

"Our policy had always been to get some benefits while going after criminal worth killing."

"Finding these kind of people, fitting enough to go after, proved to be challenge at first, and we were increasing our area of influence steadily, even affecting the crime rate and decreasing it, and making things easier for the government."

"But, recently things changed."

"Let alone being able to increase our area of influence, we are actually not even able to keep it… and it's steadily decreasing."

"Our fire power are proving to be lacking."

"Our success rate in missions, is also not guaranteed any more, as we are facing some unexpected situation some times, and we are ending up, relying on miss Nina, in those cases."

Zero, continued explaining the situation, but, to sum it up, simply?

Then, the strength of the essence wielders, are increasing along with their numbers, and they are unable to keep up… is the summery.

As a whole, the situation may seem bleak, but, was that really the case though?

Hardly.

This rapid growth was something that was going to calm down in time after all.

More over, it was happening like this only because the Liberation Front, otherwise, if things were left to their natural course, it wouldn't have happen like this… things would have happened in more slow manner.

Regardless, Iris, who was listening as she looked at the stars above, turned her gaze toward Beta, and said, "How about the situation on you side? Is their any further development?"

Beta stayed silent for a moment, seemingly still unable to comprehend the situation, where the one monitoring every movement happening on their side, and actually know the situation even more accurately than her, is actually questioning her.

Against this unlogical situation, Beta seemed to be taken aback… or at least that was what she showed, as she was still someone new, and she needs to act her part.

That's why, she took a moment, and stayed silent, before finally replying, "The situation on my side, with master, Miss Anastasia, and Shae is actually quite good, and you can ask for reinforcement any time you want."

Iris raised her eyebrow at these words and asked again, "You mean, master's hands are not tied any more, and he can move where ever he want?"

"Well, that's not it." Beta awkwardly said, before explaining how Christian is still not going to make any move, and how asking anything from Anastasia be it for these kind of petty tasks or other things was out of the questions, then, explaining how she actually was not suited for battle, and was made more for productivity.

"If you really are facing an usolveable problem… Master could possibly ask Shae to help you though," With an uncertain tone, Beta said, eliciting a glare from Iris.

That's why, while averting her gaze away, she changed the topic and started explaining about what kind of reinforcements they could ask for.

Unfortunately, there were no choice, as what they are making now, in their workshop were only Battle Androids.

Let alone cold weapons, even firearms, are out of the question, now after they started modifying the workshop.

"Even if it's only Battle Android, we are making. There's actually some development on their side and they are far better than before, so, you can look forward to their performance." Beta said, as she saw their not very enthusiasm reaction.

And to make things even more easier, she even explained in more details, "

Even then, everyone stayed silent, and didn't give any comment, that's why, Beta once again started explaining, "To make things more understandable, and we take Zero when he was first made as the standard call his fire output at that time, 1.0, then, the battle androids when they were first made, they were barely 0.5 ."

"But, now, things naturally changed!"

"Now, their strength are about, 0.9!" Beta raised her voice slightly, as she delivered how much they have progressed, but, the expected enthusiast reaction she wanted to see, didn't occur, and she sulked on her own.

Maybe, because of that? Trying to be considerate? Zero suddenly said, "Well, that's good, but how many units can you supply us?"

"Those already ready aside from the ones that are going to be deployed to guard the workshop, are fifteen."

"But!" after a meaningful pause, to get their full attention, Beta added, "our output for making battle androids, are current two daily, and it's expected to reach ten, one month later!"

…....….

At Beta last words, each of the other three androids, finally gave their reaction, Alpha giving a small and warm smile, Zero clenching his hand, seemingly thinking about something, and Iris with the corner of her lips twitching.

No one gave a comment in the end though, and Iris after suddenly materializing a grand and majestic throne to sit on, turned her head back to zero and asked, "For now, concentrate on doing your missions successfully, don't leave any loose ends."

"If you can't handle many targets, that's fine too."

"but, don't forget your main propose, which is making a company and prospering, making money… and being the trump card for master."
