My Infinite Cultivation System-Chapter 76: Negotiating with the vampire prince
Healing light poured from Alex’s fingertip like a gentle tide.
Soft radiance spread outward and washed across the entire battlefield. The golden glow moved silently through the air, touching every wounded body that lay scattered across the broken ground.
Men who had been barely breathing suddenly gasped.
Crushed bones realigned.
Burned flesh restored itself.
Deep wounds closed as if time itself had reversed.
Everyone present had been in terrible condition only moments ago. Blood covered the battlefield, and the smell of death still lingered in the air. Yet under the power of Alex’s healing technique, the damage disappeared almost instantly.
Within seconds, the battlefield that had looked like a graveyard of warriors turned into a scene of stunned silence.
People stared at their own hands and bodies in disbelief.
They were completely healed.
Not a single scar remained.
Alex slowly descended from the sky after releasing the technique. His expression remained calm, but his eyes moved quickly across the field as if searching for someone.
Then he found him.
His father.
Alex landed gently on the ground and began walking toward him.
For years he had imagined this moment. A moment when he could stand in front of his father again and feel the peace he had longed for.
But before he could even speak a single word.
Boom!
A tremendous pressure suddenly exploded in the air.
The atmosphere trembled.
Everyone instinctively raised their heads.
Seven figures had appeared in the sky.
They floated high above the battlefield like rulers observing insects beneath them.
At the front stood a young man whose appearance was almost unnaturally handsome. His silver hair moved gently with the wind, and his pale crimson eyes glowed with a cold arrogance.
Behind him stood six other figures.
One of them was the woman Alex had thrown away earlier.
However, her face no longer carried the same pride.
Her complexion had turned pale, and there was a trace of fear in her eyes.
The young man at the front slowly looked down at the humans below as if evaluating their worth.
Then he spoke.
"Human."
His voice carried a sharp authority.
"If you do not wish to start an eternal war with the vampire race, hand over that man."
His gaze shifted toward Noah.
"And do not misunderstand something. The ones you see here are not the full strength of our race."
His lips curled slightly.
"There exist beings within our race who can erase this entire solar system with a single thought."
His voice became colder.
"So do not overestimate yourself simply because you managed to defeat a planetary realm monster."
"I believe you understand the difference."
The battlefield fell silent.
But Alex did not show the slightest anger.
Instead, he slowly rose into the air and flew toward the group.
He stopped exactly one meter in front of them.
Both sides now faced each other in midair.
Alex looked at the handsome young vampire carefully.
Then he smiled.
"Marcus Mikaelson."
The young vampire froze.
"A prince of the noble Mikaelson family from the Supreme Vampire Race."
Marcus’s pupils contracted.
Alex continued speaking calmly.
"You should already know something important."
"As long as the human race still exists, the trial of this planet has not ended."
"That means the spatial barrier surrounding Earth is still active."
His eyes turned slightly cold.
"You cannot leave this planet until the trial ends."
Alex’s smile became sharper.
"So technically speaking..."
"I could annihilate you annoying bugs right here and right now."
His voice remained gentle.
"After that, I could simply transfer the entire human race of Earth into the Prime Sanctuary."
He tilted his head slightly.
"You know what that means, don’t you?"
"Even if your race sends a Universal Realm being here, they would not be able to do anything to us once we enter the sanctuary."
Marcus felt something cold run down his spine.
For the first time since arriving here, his confidence cracked.
How did this human know his name?
How did he know the Mikaelson family?
And more importantly.
How did he know about the Prime Sanctuary?
Marcus instinctively took three steps backward in the air.
His expression changed completely. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"What did you say...?"
His voice trembled slightly.
"How do you know all of this?"
His breathing became unstable.
"You are still within the trial period."
"You should not have any way of knowing this information!"
He could not hide the shock in his voice.
Just moments ago he had believed he held absolute control of the situation.
These humans were nothing more than ignorant creatures who knew nothing about the greater universe.
But now everything had changed.
Alex knew far too much.
The bluff Marcus had prepared collapsed instantly.
Alex’s smile remained calm.
"How I know is not your concern."
His eyes locked onto Marcus.
"You only need to understand one thing."
"Right now."
"I can kill you."
He asked casually.
"Would you like to test that?"
Marcus felt a sudden surge of anger.
He could not allow himself to be pushed back like this.
His expression twisted as he shouted.
"Do not get arrogant, human!"
His voice echoed through the sky.
"If you know so much, then you should also know something else."
Marcus suddenly laughed.
"I can sacrifice my own blood to perform a summoning ritual."
His crimson eyes glowed.
"And through that ritual, I can call upon a Galactic Realm elder of my race."
His smile widened.
"You understand what will happen if such a being appears here, correct?"
For a moment it looked like Marcus had regained his advantage.
But Alex did not react at all.
He simply looked at him quietly.
"Yes."
"You can do that."
Alex nodded.
"But will you?"
Marcus’s smile froze.
Alex continued speaking calmly.
"That ritual will destroy your foundation."
"You will become a cripple afterward."
His eyes were completely emotionless.
"And in a supreme race like yours, a crippled prince is nothing more than disposable trash."
He asked softly.
"Am I wrong?"
Marcus’s face turned pale again.
But this time he did not retreat.
Instead he stared directly at Alex.
"That man possesses the Supreme Bloodline Resonance of the Progenitor."
He pointed toward Noah.
"For someone like him, my race would go to any length."
Marcus’s voice hardened.
"So yes."
"A prince like me is disposable."
Alex fell silent for a moment.
He knew Marcus was telling the truth.
His father’s panel had already confirmed the bloodline information.
After thinking briefly, Alex spoke again.
"Then let me make you a proposal."
Marcus narrowed his eyes.
Alex continued.
"There are currently four Supreme Races present on Earth."
"The vampire race is only one of them."
His voice remained steady.
"Let the trial finish first."
"From now on, battles between our sides will continue."
"But there will be conditions."
Alex raised one finger.
"No planetary realm beings are allowed to participate."
"I will not participate either."
His eyes sharpened slightly.
"If your people manage to defeat us under those conditions..."
He glanced toward Noah.
"Then he will belong to your race."
The battlefield trembled with tension.
Alex’s next words were even colder.
"But if you lose..."
"Do not test my patience again."
His gaze became terrifying.
"Because at that point, I will not hesitate."
"I will kill every single one of you and leave this planet."
His voice lowered slightly.
"I am only negotiating because I do not want to abandon Earth."
"But do not mistake that for weakness."
