My Kingdom Building Done Right!-Chapter 45: The Little Emperor
With Blitz currently unstable, Daedalus suggested that Leone check the squirrel’s post-awakening Status Page.
It projected the page in front of the young man, allowing Leone and the others to see the changes in Blitz’s body.

"Damn..." Leone’s eyes widened in shock after seeing Blitz’s new set of skills.
"You can say that again," Daedalus commented.
The squirrel’s stats had also increased greatly after its bloodline awakening. Even Daedalus showed awe. It didn’t expect that the little squirrel Leone had bribed with food to be a vassal would become a little emperor who shoots lightning bolts at its enemies.
Its skill, Lightning Strider, allowed it to travel up to three miles at the speed of lightning, making Blitz the fastest squirrel in the world.
All of its attacks now had a chance to paralyze its enemies, making it a very annoying opponent for those who couldn’t defend themselves from its onslaught.
Its skill, Spark Surprise, was named deceptively. It was as deadly as how cute and funny it sounded.
Before evolving, Biltz had to latch onto its enemies to electrocute them. Spark Surprise had the same effect, but it could discharge an electric shock within a five-meter radius.
The combo of Volt Blink and Spark Surprise alone made Blitz an incredibly deadly opponent. But on top of that, the squirrel had gained the skill, Lightning Bolt, allowing it to shoot lightning bolts at its enemies.
This lightning bolt was generated from the squirrel’s own body, and the damage was proportional to Blitz’s Intelligence Stat.
Maximus and Arion looked very impressed by their friend’s improvement. They were also eyeing to awaken their own bloodlines, making them more powerful in the future.
Seeing their expressions, Leone chuckled and asked how much it would cost to evolve his two other vassals.
"Blitz’s bloodline awakening was cheap because it had already evolved into a Stormwing Squirrel," Daedalus explained. "Its bloodline is compatible with the Volt Emperor’s, so the cost is also proportionally lower.
"For Maximus, I think the White Dragon Bloodline suits him best. He already has a lesser dragon bloodline, so upgrading it to the next level will only require 5,000 BP. But that’s just the bloodline of an ordinary White Dragon.
"Dragons have other variations. For example, we have the True Dragon, Ancient Dragon, Dragon King, Dragon Emperor, Primordial Dragon, Divine Dragon, and Dragon God."
Leone and Maximus swallowed their saliva subconsciously after hearing the different dragon classifications. Daedalus didn’t have to tell them how much those bloodlines cost to know that the price would be sky high.
"But don’t worry!" Daedalus said. "The Arcane Shop has seasonal discount sales. I will bookmark these bloodlines, and we can buy them when there’s a discount!"
"Good!" Leone and Maximus nodded at the same time.
Arion blinked before nudging the grimoire, reminding it that it also wanted to see its Evolution Line.
"The cheapest Epic Bloodline Awakening for Arion costs 10,000 BP, the same price as Maximus’ True Dragon Awakening.
The Ancient Dragon cost 30,000 BP, while the Dragon King cost 50,000. In the end, Leone could only pat his two vassals on the head and tell them that he’d earn enough BP so they could also awaken powerful bloodlines.
"I have a question," Ulric commented from the side. "Is it possible for humans to awaken special bloodlines as well?"
"Of course!" Daedalus answered without hesitation. "Take Arlo, for example. One of his Ancestors might have been a werewolf, allowing him to transform into one regardless of the time of day.
"There’s also something called Beast Synthesis. It combines humans and monsters to make them stronger, but the results are unpredictable. Unless various requirements are met and additional catalysts are added to prevent abnormal results, the outcome might turn a person into a Chimera.
"One of my previous owners was a mad scientist. He had created a legion of hybrid monsters that threatened his own kingdom. In fact, I think Leone would gain the Beast Synthesis as a reward after reaching Territory Rank 2. After all, his first vassals were two Beasts and a Monster.
"I’m just going to say this, but Beast Synthesis mustn’t be taken lightly. I admit it can create miracles, but you’re more likely to create abominations. Well, I’ll save the rest of the lecture for later. No point talking about it until you receive Beast Synthesis Upgrade as a reward."
A few minutes later, the little squirrel had finally regained its consciousness. Leone congratulated the little guy, who was also incredibly happy after becoming stronger.
After bidding Leone goodbye, Blitz left the cave to gather all the squirrels in the forest and officially declare itself as their one true Emperor!
By doing so, they would all become Leone’s subjects. Its master’s passive BP gain would then increase, and he’d also gain extra ears and eyes in places the warriors of both the Alborin and the Riverfang Tribes couldn’t reach.
