My Life In A Fantasy, Women-Dominated World-Chapter 133: Level 25
"A MIMIC’S BODY?!" The government official in charge of task administration nearly screamed when seeing the contents of Aaron’s cart.
She even forsook official protocol and directly leaned toward the cart by climbing over the counter, wearing a pair of glasses that seemed to reflect magically.
"That’s a type of artifact that’s capable of inspecting the goods in detail. Pretty rare shit." Eva whispered in his ear when she saw him being surprised by the woman’s antics.
But she was wrong.
He was surprised about the woman’s antics, sure. But he was even more surprised about how her ass cheeks jiggled as she leaned over the wooden counter at an awkward angle.
Even her cleavage was peeking out of her loose tee, revealing a massive pair of jugs that made Aaron feel like he could suffocate to death between them and still not regret it.
But of course, she didn’t remain in such a compromised position for too long, as she awkwardly climbed over the counter and reached the other side, nearly dropping down from the counter in clumsiness.
With each move her butt jiggled more, defying physics and sending blood rushing down Aaron’s body.
But realizing he was already having difficulties coping with three unique kittens, he gently slapped his little general to calm down.
And he had much bigger goals than a clumsy little government worker.
But then his eyes fell over her giant curves, his naughty mind whispering ’bigger goals~’ in a dirty tone. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
"Holy fu– shit, this is real." The woman was now standing right in front of the cart, looking at the monster with her spectacles swirling with magic. "A fucking level 75 Mimic!!! How the hell was a ragtag bunch of raiders able to bring down something of this caliber!?"
Claire’s head snapped toward the woman. "Ragtag bunch of raiders...?" she repeated in a low voice, making the clumsy woman yelp.
"N-No, mis– I mean ma’am– I mean Raider Claire." She stuttered, not understanding how to address a raiding team that was capable of bringing down a fucking level 75 mid-boss graded monster.
Her first instinct was to run to her superiors and call them over, but her curiosity was holding her back.
Finally her eyes settled onto the man in front of her, blinking once, then twice. "W-Wait... I thought this man was a raider too..."
Claire raised an eyebrow. "Of course he is, what is that question supposed to mean?"
The woman blinked again, multiple times as her specs began to swirl with mana and energy. "B-But... I can’t detect an ounce of magic in his body..."
’What the fuck?’ Aaron was the first one to react, breaking out of his reverie and staring into the artifact with mild curiosity as well as apprehension.
His magic stat was among the best, and this woman was telling him that she couldn’t detect it?
The fuck is that bullshit?
But then his brain’s gears churned, humming to himself. ’Maybe she cannot detect it because it is above the threshold or something? It’s possible... maybe? I need to ask Claire later.’
He turned to Claire and nodded once as she nodded back calmly, understanding his intentions easily.
"Ah, maybe there might be an error. Can we please continue with the inspection and task completion, ma’am?" She said, "Today was a tiring day. I would like to have a rest."
Confused at how easily they disregarded this finding made the woman suspicious, but she also understood that this wasn’t her place to question.
She didn’t have the right authority for it.
So she awkwardly jumped back onto the counter and slowly inched backwards, returning to her initial spot before requesting the raiders to place their task slips as well as the proofs of conquest on the table in front of her.
Task slips were the ones that were issued by the government themselves and contained the approximate location of the monster they were supposed to hunt.
The raiders were supposed to fill in the details of the monster’s death location in case it was too big to be transported (like the minotaur) or too useless to be collected (like the tombat).
Along with the location they were also supposed to provide the proofs of conquest, which were different but unique for each kind of monster.
Like the wing of a tombat, the horn of a minotaur, etc.
No two tombats could have the same kind of wings. They could be similar but never identical, and the same went for the minotaur’s horns.
Each proof of conquest was meticulously crafted in order to prevent cheating the system.
Of course, many still managed to fool the government using ingenious tricks, but those tricks were only one-time wonders as the government worked overtime to make their processes as foolproof as possible.
All in all, the process was definitely time-taking, but the wait was more than worth it as most of their day 1 tasks were completed and the woman assured them that their rewards would be given soon.
However, the woman was unable to determine what to do with the mimic’s dead body, as it wasn’t really any task and it was in a pretty bad condition for her to show an actual interest in its materials.
Thus she suggested they store the body in their inventory to maintain its condition and wait until the next day so she could talk to her superiors regarding it.
Dead tired and already exhausted, the cohort offered no resistance to the woman’s offer as they nodded in understanding and let Aaron store it in his inventory without a fuss.
As for how he could do so while also having his swordstaff in his inventory...?
It was only obvious, since leveling up to level 25 didn’t just enhance the number of skill slots, but also the number of inventory slots...

A couple hours ago.
"Reverse senses."
Following his timely skill usage and the swift execution of the monstrous mimic, a bright hologram popped right in front of Aaron’s eyes.
Making his lips curl into a wide grin.
