My Life In A Fantasy, Women-Dominated World-Chapter 152: Empress Of Serenity...?
[ Class Trial. Primordial Consort: Mythical ]
[ Task: The Primordial Consort isn’t just a mere boytoy like the host. Prove your strength, intellect, skills and charm to pioneer through the Forest Of Vethonia and reach the capital city of Drax.
Important Notice: Forest Of Vethonia contains a powerful ancient primordial, resting in secrecy and solace. Claim the heart of the Empress of Serenity for a special once in the lifetime reward. If the reward is forsaken, no such opportunity will ever be presented to the host throughout their miserable life.
Note:
In the trial, only the previously unlocked skills can be used and new skills cannot be unlocked.
The monsters vanquished throughout the duration of the trial will not provide any exp on death, but will drop a blood core upon death.
The size and purity of the blood core depends upon the creature’s level and strength.
Monsters above the grade 3 have a small chance of dropping class based items, the higher grade the monster, the higher chance to drop an item.
The dropped item would be connected to the class of Primordial Consort, however their ranks can be very low and subpar to the quality of their progenitor class.
No disrespect towards the primordials or the primordial class will be tolerated.
Best of luck, aspirant boy toy. ]
Aaron speedread through the messages, frowning when he saw the point that mentioned he couldn’t unlock new skills.
He really should’ve done it before, but he was hesitating to do so as there was a small part of him that wanted him to hoard that chance until he changes the class and gets a better one.
After all, the skill pool of his BOY TOY class was one of the worst ones.
Though he would have to say, he really got lucky to pull all the skills that were based on the magic stat and not the strength or physical stats.
Such a thing would be beyond disastrous for other males, but it was a boon for him.
As for the other rules, he was fine with most, and the task was also quite self explanatory.
He needed to survive this forest and reach the capital city of Drax to complete it.
However, the main issue arose from the second paragraph of his task, the one that mentioned the existence of a fucking PRIMORDIAL being that rested in this very forest.
There wasn’t much information about such beings on the internet, and even if there was, plebians like him surely weren’t known to those.
So he didn’t know what that word, race, class or whatever they were, entailed.
All he knew was that the system described them as powerful, and such a thing was quite rare, as it didn’t just call any random beast to be powerful.
For the system, most of the beings were on a similar level of existence, and if those primordial beings were above that level, it could only mean one thing.
Those weren’t to be fucked with.
And... the system was telling him to FUCK with one of them?! QUITE LITERALLY!
As he didn’t know what the system considered as ’claiming heart’
Surely it didn’t want him to tear the heart out of her chest... right?
Aaron sighed deeply, looking at the firm warning that was boldly written in that same paragraph.
He had already forsaken the reward for ’first choice’ back when making the class selection, but he inherently knew that this choice was no way on the same level as that.
This time it wasn’t just a question of if he wanted a freebie or not.
System described it as an once in a lifetime opportunity, something he cannot gain again and if he had to guess, Aaron would say that if he manages to get this opportunity, his future would be much brighter.
But... he would also say that being alive was a much better and safer future for him.
’Fuckkk...’ He pulled his hair in frustration, ignoring the systematic hologram and looking up at the thick blanket of leaves.
Through the small openings between them, he was able to peek at the sky, noticing it darkening with the dark clouds forming into the air.
He already knew that this was a rainforest, but he didn’t know that his luck was so bad that it would start raining the moment he came here!
He swiped off the hologram, making up his mind to think about the elusive primordial later when he found her, as currently, saving his own life was much more important!
"I have watched enough man vs wild to know a few tricks," Aaron talked to himself, trying to hype himself up that he can do it.
Around the air, buzzing around the smaller bush flowers, Aaron noticed some more of those beedrill like insects as he summoned his swordstaff into his hand.
He had read about the blood core that a monster may drop, and while he didn’t know what a blood core was, it didn’t take a genius to figure out that it could be useful.
Maybe it would be like a currency, or it could be like a backup energy source.
Something like a battery, though if that was the case, Aaron had no use for it.
For his meager skills, his mana was like an ocean, something he can never exhaust. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Even if he spammed every skill in his possession, without even the cooldown, his mana would regenerate faster than he could use.
That was the perks of having broken magic stat.
But throwing that topic in the back of his head, Aaron lowered his speed to a stop, narrowing his eyes at the buzzing bee and keeping himself stable, holding his swordstaff at a horizontal angle and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
He didn’t have to wait for long, as the bee slowly inched closer to the flower, stabbing its metallic spikes into the center of the flower as it began to punch like a berserker!
The flower secreted a small splatter of juices and nectar, which was absorbed by the metallic spikes, causing them to get larger!
But at that exact moment, Aaron’s swordstaff arrived, slicing through the thin petals of the flower and colliding with the metallic stingers.
*Ding*
"Fuck..."
The sword... did NOT cut through those.
