131 Inside the rock.

Yue Li woke up half an hour later, her gaze blurry; she found herself lying against her usual bed—her son's chest. Dazedly gazing up, she found his eyes were closed as he leaned against the dark stone; he was taking a rest.

She looked at him for a bit, a second later, smiled, and went back to sleep on top of him.

"If you had a father, he would be cursed to have a son like you," she muttered.

Maybe Han Li had heard it; he cradled her gently in his embrace, and she silently snuggled deeper into him like a squirrel in its nest. Just like that, more time passed.

Once again, Yue Li woke up, dazed to find that familiar sensation of her son's tongue gently exploring her lips and fighting with her tongue in a battle for dominance. A battle where the son always conquered the mother. But she didn't push him back instinctually; her instinct had long become one to continue the kiss.

Some seconds later, he broke the kiss, and they breathed heavily; she looked at him; somehow, he seemed to shine with a green light, filled with an ethereal aura.

"Ah, I missed that kiss," she said in a voice evident she was waking up from a deep sleep.

"I missed it too."

"Where are we?" Yue Li asked, looked around, and her eyes grew large with fascination. It was a small cavernous room of sorts, filled with shining moss that leaked a gentle green light all around them.

"No wonder I felt you looked ethereal, Xiao Li, so beautiful."

"I told you. You would like this place," Han Li laughed. "I once had this weird daydream of bringing you here and stripping your clothes gently as you looked at me with surprise."

Yue Li looked at him with surprise. "Daydream?"

"Yeah, gently breaking your defenses as my hand gently roamed through your back to your butt, caressing it gently and asking for your consent, which you will not give because of your shyness, but I would continue regardless… and haha, that's it."

Yue Li swallowed.

"Getting me horny right after I woke up; wanna do that?" she groggily muttered.

Han Li smiled. "Nah, not yet time to be horny. We have to wait till midnight to do it."

"Hmm, yes, midnight. We are, at the moment, inside the Elephant Rock, and it is already nighttime outside, just one more hour for midnight."

"Ah, no, no, it is not a Beast." Han Li laughed. Thinking about the Bear King who had once torn his face out as he tried to find a lifespan-increasing way for the exact woman frolicking on his lap now.

"Beasts have a uniqueness to them, Mom; they have Beast Cores inside them instead of Empty Spaces and Sparks we humans do, and they do not cultivate as we do; instead, they can Evolve. I've even heard of Lizards Evolving into Snakes and Snakes into something bigger called Imoogi. There are a lot of things you haven't seen, but I will show it all to you one by one."

Yue Li looked at him curiously. She just wanted to hear him speak now, so she asked, not wanting him to stop speaking: "Interesting, tell me more about Beasts."

"These Beasts have 4 Stages of Evolution. Animal, Beast, Beast King, and finally, Beast Emperor. Animals are ordinary animals; Beasts are animals who have eaten some Magical Resources or absorbed enough Energy somehow to create a Beast core inside them; beasts are as strong as Evolution Stage Humans when it comes to their bodies, often time stronger. Of course, they would lose against us humans all the time as long as we are not dumb. They only have bodies, after all, unless they are not so unique like a Blue Whale or something that had created a Beast Core inside it; they are inferior to us in strength."

"What if a Blue Whale created a beast core?"

"They already had such great bodies, to begin with; a Beast Core would make them undefeatable even for greatly talented cultivators after they evolve to become a beast. So usually, people don't go trigger them for no reason."

"Very nice, so what about Beast Kings?"

"Beast KIngs can only be defeated by Power Borns. And they are strong."

"They are strong then; talk more," she caressed his chest gently.

"The Beast Emperors are a myth. It is a theory that no one knows about; what if a Beast becomes as strong as a transcendent? no beast had ever achieved that feat, though, since it requires a precious Transcendant Orb. Some guess that beasts would gain intelligence if that happens, and some even say the beasts might gain an Empty Space and create Dao Souls of their own and such."

If that happened, in theory, they would be almost as good as the Seven Demon Inheritors. Having both the advantages of Transformation and Ethereal Paths and also unique bodily advantages. But they still wouldn't be able to turn Magic Powers into Talents, which Han Li now regarded as something all 7 Successors of the Seven Sacred Demons might be able to do, just like him.

Maybe he was the only one able to do it, but he was used to thinking in a worst-case scenario.

But he was also a bit curious about the Beast Emperor theory, yet in the end, even normal Transcendants don't have a limit of Transformation or Ethereal, so humans and Beasts wouldn't be that different, he guessed.

I just knew how to enter inside it and nothing else. What I do know of, though, is that it is not alive, and it doesn't have any Beast Core or something like that. But of course, it is not under my control or anything; I just know a way for it to go berserk. And after it does that, it will once again return to this unmoving state after a while, and yeah, that would be its final use."

"What are you gonna do with it, Handsome?"

Han Li could see she was too turned on to care about what he was saying. He smiled and simply told her what he was about to do, "We will sow chaos first."

"Okay, now talk about something else. Tell me, is your cultivation as an Evolved going well?"

Han Li nodded. "It is going well; my body is also growing stronger, and I am fine but far from my best state at this stage of cultivation, though. So, in your words, I can be cooler. Much cooler than my current state."

"Talk about that best state. And… just don't stop talking."

"Ah, that," Han Li chuckled. "A good cultivator has a balanced way of seeing things that I haven't gotten into while teaching you two or in my own methods yet—Attack, Defense, Movement, and Utility. I will perfect each of those areas, and then my Evolution Stage cultivation will be perfect once my body is as strong as it can be. I have to cultivate Magic Powers on each of those parts and such. Which I can do some parts at least any time now, by the way."

Even now, he had [39 Dao Crystals]; if he wanted, he could turn a Magic Power of 3 sorts any time he wanted into a Talent by using it while in battle. If such a scenario came, and according to the situation, he could choose the best option.

"Okay, now, whatever, just kiss your mom," she said, moving her face aggressively to nibble on his lips. He could only let her do whatever she wanted. Fortunately, she still had a bit of patience and held back with just nibbling on his tongue.
