The rumbling vibrations lasted for nearly three minutes before subsiding, as deep red crystals rained down like droplets.

"Bloodflame Crystal x3 has been picked up."

The bespectacled man picked up the fragmented blood-red crystals from the ground and took a closer look. The surface of the crystals was angular, with faint small cracks visible inside. The color was dark red and beautiful, with a fluorescent glow emanating from the depths, like a flame burning.

Information related to the crystal automatically popped up on his glasses.

"Item: Bloodflame Crystal."

"Quality: Dull (White)"

"Color like blood, internally contains flame."

He recognized this type of crystal, which could store and release tremendous energy. Due to its unique physical properties, it was often processed into an energy mineral and could also be made into explosives for mountain-clearing and lake-expansion, or even used in warfare.

The famed Jiulong Battleship, the stronghold of Jiulong Message, was powered by twenty-seven 'Blazing Red Dragon' engines fueled by this mineral.

However, due to the enormous transportation costs of this mineral, whether under high temperatures or impacts, the crystal shells would easily shatter. Once the 'Fire Marrow' inside leaked out, it would cause a series of chemical reactions that could blow up the entire company's transport convoy into the sky.

In that era, such major accident scandals were frequently exposed. With the widespread application of magnetic confinement fusion technology, cleaner and safer energy options became available, and so major companies had no reason to choose the expensive-to-manage Bloodflame Crystal anymore, basically ceasing the operation of such mines. Unexpectedly, it was found in an Oasis.

No wonder the guild leader chose to lure those monsters to the dock; the plan was to annihilate them all at once.

Thought the bespectacled man.

"Stop dazing off, get rid of the remaining monsters."

A reminder came from his ear.

He turned his head and found the others spontaneously cleaning up the battlefield, using their weapons to finish off the struggling, howling Ratman.

For some reason, looking at those guild members who had started to engage in camaraderie and laughter, an inexplicable strange emotion suddenly arose in the bespectacled man's heart, yet he couldn't pinpoint what made him feel odd.

He clearly remembered that before setting off, the members of the Light Chasing Garden were still distant from each other, yet now they seemed to get along quite well.

"Wendy, give it back to me, I saw it first!" Xixi waved her fist, chasing after the girl running ahead.

"Xixi, whoever grabs it first gets it. This pendant can increase agility attributes; it's really useful for me." Wendy turned back, stuck out her tongue, and made a funny face.

"I'm a ranger, and I need agility attributes too!"

Xixi pounced forward, knocking Wendy onto the grass. The two teenage girls rolled around playfully, letting out silver-bell-like laughter.

Meanwhile, on the other side, four or five players were besieging the Heavy Cannon Lord. The Heavy Cannon Lord, with his formidable figure, could not withstand their united assault; his face's rotten flesh was charred black and curled up. His splendid robe was in tatters, hanging from his shoulders, with a pile of slave corpses at his side, and none of his previous arrogance remained. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"I'll tank the damage, hurry up and attack!" Golden Beetle shouted, activating 'Copper Sinews and Iron Bones' and forcefully withstanding the heavy cannon's assault.

"Leave the finishing to me!" Shadow Weaving Poem said with a confident smile.

"Behold! The worth of the 53rd ranked Shadow Attacker!"

A black shadow swiftly rolled into the battlefield, moving rapidly with swift sidesteps and agile maneuvers, continuously dodging the heavy cannon's attacks. He nearly crouched to the ground, with two daggers rotating midair, like lightning piercing through the Heavy Cannon Lord!

"HP -200! You deal slashing damage to 'Jorff Starfall, the Heavy Cannon Lord,' triggering the passive skill 'Throat Slashing,' adding bleeding and silence effects!"

"Roar!"

Two blood-red blade lights slashed through the darkness; the Heavy Cannon Lord's throat exploded with a spray of blood. After letting out an unwilling roar, he fell to the ground, his figure becoming transparent, scattering a multitude of loot.

Shadow Weaving Poem somersaulted midair, landing steadily, spreading his hands, ready to enjoy the cheering of the guild girls, only to find no one's attention was on him. Instead, everyone was staring uniformly at the riverside.

"Guild leader!"

"Dark Gold Rose big shot!"

Two wet figures walked in the moonlight's shadow; Xu Xiaoyou's golden hair was soaked with water, sticking close to her cheeks and shoulders, appearing somewhat dim, while the girl she carried kept her head down, her hanging silver hair obscuring her face, making her features indistinct.

"What foolishness are you doing?" Xu Xiaoyou asked, frowning slightly.

Angelina remained silent, not replying, while Xu Xiaoyou was expecting her to get angry like usual, to at least retort sarcastically. Yet the girl simply draped an arm over her shoulder, leaning on her as they slowly walked forward.

After her Substitute skill's proficiency reached mastery, Xu Xiaoyou was already capable of swapping places with her Substitute, had she not made all preparations ahead, placing her Substitute by the river, tonight's situation might have spiraled out of her control.

After setting Angelina down, the latter raised her gaze to meet hers, then silently summoned her spear and joined the battle-clearing team.

Xu Xiaoyou couldn't understand what had suddenly changed with her, then turned her head to see Chichu Chun hopping towards her, pinching a mask between her fingers, positioning it in front of her face, side tilted, smiling cheerfully.

Shaking her head, Xu Xiaoyou decided not to dwell on it much.

At this point, guild members who moments ago were celebrating around the Heavy Cannon Lord's corpse were now shrinking their faces, looking over whilst holding their loot awkwardly in midair, unsure whether to put it down or pass it on.

"Why are you looking at me? Go ahead and roll for the loot," Xu Xiaoyou chuckled.

The players thought they'd misheard, froze for a moment, then glanced at each other, one by one seeing joy on each other's faces, until someone led the shout.

"Long live the Guild leader!"

"Hooray, long live the Guild leader!"

"Great!"

The cheers shattered the nighttime's silence, and Xu Xiaoyou waved her hand, saying, "Stop, stop, you're hurting my ears."

Everyone laughed heartily, finally settling down.

Signaling them to handle the loot themselves, Xu Xiaoyou turned around, walking into the village and town, soon arriving in front of the 'Lord's House' tavern, with Chichu Chun swiftly catching up from behind.

"You, is this really okay? Aren't you afraid they'd become too... slack?"

It's known that those grand guilds stick to very strict rules when raiding dungeons, requiring all loot to be registered and turned in, to be distributed by the guild management.

Especially concerning offenses like hoarding loot, being discovered can result in being kicked out of the guild at minimum, with extreme measures being a round-robin server-wide broadcast and combined exertion of pressure from all grand guilds until a player is forced to obliterate their account and forever leave the Oasis.

"What if they develop bad habits?" Chichu Chun blinked her eyes.

"Different scales necessitate different management methods." Xu Xiaoyou turned back, saying, "Right now, we need development. If we scare the little sheep away by being too strict, what then?"

"Numbers are not as crucial as excellence. What I need now is an elite force that can swiftly and accurately address and resolve core issues; the 'cost' is far less important than 'efficiency'..."

As Xu Xiaoyou was speaking, a blue silhouette flashed by in her peripheral vision, disappearing at the tavern door.

Chichu Chun nodded somewhat bewilderingly, only to see Xu Xiaoyou's expression freeze for a moment before sprinting towards the inside of the tavern...
