My Perfect Revenge: Flash Marriage With My Vampire Tycoon-Chapter 124: - Tasso Grimaldi -
A man stood at the roof of a building, watching the street below. People were chatteering, pattering about. The honking sounds of cars were loud, ear piercing even.
His face curled in disdain and he glanced at the half moon first, before he unbuttoned the buttons of his suit jacket. Taking a step forward, off the roof, he began falling with his back to the ground, eyes fixed on the sky lazily Just before impact, he flipped himself over, and landed lightly on his feet.
He lifted his gaze to the gated mansion he had interest in, and without stalling, he crossed over and approached the gate.
A security rushed over to him, grabbing his arm. "Sir, may I ask who you are? You’ll have to wait—"
The man slowly turned his head toward him. He lowered his gaze to the security’s hand and grabbed at his wrist. Without warning, he began twisting his hand and despite the security’s cry, he didn’t stop once, almost breaking his wrist.
But just at that moment, the gate pushed open and Antonioi rushed out.
"Mr. Grimaldi, please let him go!" Antonio immediately pleaded with him.
The man, Tasso Grimaldi glanced at him. He let go of the security and saw himself into the compound. "So? Where is your boss? I am only here because it involves Nikolas Bastiani. Other than that, I shall take my leave."
Antonio smiled awkwardly, immediately proceeding to gesture him into the house. They walked up the spiral staircase to the second floor, and following behind him, they arrived at a door.
Opening, Antonio gestured in.
Tasso stepped in, and he was met with Fernando Stolov. Brown eyes, short blonde hair with quite a broad frame.
While he accessed him, Fernando rose to his feet, accessing him as well. Tasso was a man with pitch black locs, stubborn few strands falling over and to the sides of his face.
He was a brown-skinned man, eyes a grayish to an almost whitish contrast that just gave him this eerie appearance, yet he was someone you couldn’t look away from, a face to be remembered.
Was this something with their non-human race? He’d thought that bastard Nikolas was ridiculously handsome, this man however was not inferior to him in any way. He was an eerie kind of handsome—a perfection that gums itself to your memory. Nikolas however was a striking, alluring kind. A type that seduces.
"Are you lost?" Tasso’s question snapped him out of his thoughts. "What are you staring at me for?"
Fernado almost rolled his eyes. But he knew too well he couldn’t do that. Antonio had given details on this man, and just like Nikolas, he was a vampire as well. And a tough one at that.
Smiling, he stepped out, and reached out a hand for a handshake. Tasso cocked a brow, and lowered his gaze to his hand with a bit of disgust on his face.
Reaching into the pocket of his suit, he fished out a pair of gloves, put them on, before accepting the gesture.
Fernando’s eye twitched. What sort of man was this? Was he looking down on him or something? 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Antonio quickly rushed over, chuckling softly. "Boss, he’s a germaphobe."
"Oh. I see." Fernando chuckled. "That makes sense then."
"Meaning?" Tasso furrowed his brows.
"Oh, well, I doubt you’d be this kind of an asshole, Mr. Grimaldi. You don’t strike me as one."
The sort of disdain you’d hardly see on anyone’s face plastered itself on Tasso’s features as he spat, "I am that kind of an asshole. Got a problem with it?" He was an inch taller than Fernando whose height was at 6’4. "You humans disgust me. Why would I touch one?"
"W-what?"
"What do you have that look on your face for?" Tasso stepped into his space, reaching out to wrap his hand around his neck. "Vampires are superior. I mean, take a look at you. So weak, so helpless. If I wanted to kill you at this moment, it’d take me nothing to do so."
Fernando grabbed at his wrist, choking out. "We’re not the ones in hiding are we?"
Tasso grinned, jade white teeth evident as his grip tightened. "Now that’s where you are wrong, human. While you lots are weaker, your intelligence isn’t something we look down on nor doubt, alright. You’d always find a way to fight back, be it if even the werewolves were to decide to hunt you all down. But then again, even they know humans aren’t stupid. So...why refuse to coexist, when we can and still get to feed on you lots?"
"What is that supposed..t-to mean?" Fernando grabbed at both his hands now. He couldn’t breathe. "Let go...of me!"
Antonio who was by the side had gone pale. "Mr. Grimaldi..."
Tasso stepped back, letting go of him. And Fernando who’d almost gone unconscious, dropped to his knees, coughing hard with hand rubbing his neck.
Tasso stared at him with contempt in his eyes. He turned around and walked over to take a seat on the sofa. "I hate humans. You conniving little creatures."
"Or maybe we are just smarter."
"Oh? That’s what you think this is? You’re amusing, lad." He crossed his legs with head tilted. "Get to the point. What is it about Nikolas? That is what I came here for, not to banter with whoever the fuck you are."
Fernando took deep breaths. "I know the sun can hurt your kind."
"So?"
"I want to get rid of Nikolas."
"Oh?" Tasso smirked. "What did he do to you?"
"That’s none of your business, Mr. Grimaldi."
Tasso’s amusement died. "You better be careful with me, blondie."
Fernando pinched between his brows. "He took something that is mine. And I can’t get it back. Not unless I get rid of him. So I need your help."
"What do you need my help for? You know the sun kills us. Figure out a way to use that to your advanatage."
"Mr. Grimaldi, Antonio here has made it clear that you’re probably as strong as Nikolas. Now, if we decided to kill you, do you believe we can?"
