My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 102: Massive Level Up and Ghost From the Past
Andrew seemed to be trembling even more, his legs shaking uncontrollably. The monster’s face was truly right in front of his, and naturally everyone—including Gary, Olivia, Dennis, Daisy, Jason, and Kimberly—prayed that Andrew wouldn’t move an inch and make the situation even messier than it already was. But suddenly,
"Gyaaaah,"
Someone in the back row screamed and fired at the monster, though it didn’t feel a thing. Then two people broke formation and ran; of course, the monster immediately lunged toward the two who were sprinting away, unable to handle their fear.
"Skrieeeeek,"
The monster opened its mouth wide, its two pincers ready to snatch the two male students who were running and looking back with pale, terrified faces. But just as the monster’s lightning-fast head was about to catch them, "dung," Daisy Number Six suddenly appeared beneath the monster’s head and delivered a straight upward kick to its chin, forcing its mouth shut and snapping its head back. Before the monster’s head could fall and while it was still recoiling, Dennis—already in the air and shrouded in a blood-red aura—spun so that both his legs acted like a drill, slamming the monster’s head into the ground with its mouth clamped shut with incredible force.
Dennis quickly stood atop the monster’s head and pried its mouth open with his hands and sheer strength. Then Daisy, now transformed into Daisy Number Four, tossed hundreds of bombs into its mouth. She then shifted into Daisy Number Five and blasted fire into the monster’s gullet. After that, Dennis released the monster’s lips so its mouth slammed shut while he blinded its eyes with his fists. Then, Dennis leaped down.
"Skrieeeeek,"
"Blam... blam... blam,"
The monster’s body screamed and stood back up, but explosions began ripping through it from the inside, forcing the armored shell covering its body to crack. Finally, the monster’s entire body exploded, sending shards of its hard shell flying in every direction. Out of breath, Dennis turned to look at Daisy, who seemed perfectly relaxed. He held up his hand, and Daisy cheerfully gave him a high-five.
"We did it, honey," Daisy said. Then she picked up a piece of the monster’s hard shell beside her and showed it to Dennis. "Can I keep this for research, hon?" Daisy Number Five asked.
"Of course you can. My heart is still pounding," Dennis muttered, clutching his chest and deactivating his blood lust.
"Okay, thanks, hon," Daisy Number Five said cheerfully as she stashed the shell inside her dimensional box, then shifted back into Daisy Number One.
Dennis and Daisy looked over at the two male students who had just tried to bolt; they were still slumped on the road, bodies trembling, faces pale, and pants soaked because they had apparently peed themselves. Daisy immediately approached them, since they were her classmates.
"Theo, Oscar, you almost got us all killed. Do you understand that?" Daisy shouted, hands on her hips, glaring at them with a look of pure fury.
"We’re... we’re sorry," Theo replied, shaking.
"W... we thought we were going to die," Oscar added, also trembling.
Daisy went on a rant, scolding them until both boys hung their heads and knelt before her without daring to talk back. Meanwhile, Dennis just stood behind Daisy with his arms crossed over his chest. Suddenly, "vwoooong," an interface opened in front of Dennis’s face. Naturally, he read it immediately.

Dennis’s eyes sparkled and his heart skipped a beat as he read the screen, even though his face remained neutral—maybe even expressionless. He felt stronger and more confident about standing by his wife’s side. He immediately studied his new manager skills by tapping the descriptions. When he tapped the Dimensional Training Room and read the details, his expression shifted; now he could train alone by creating his own dimensional space, or train together with his wife.
"This... this is incredible. With this skill, I can definitely get even stronger, haha," Dennis muttered in his head.
Then, a cheerful Dennis turned around, but he flinched in surprise as he saw Gary, Olivia, Jason, Kimberly, and the entire 11th-grade squad—including a soaking wet Andrew and his wife, Clara—staring at him. They were also looking over at Daisy, who was still chewing out Theo and Oscar.
Dennis was instantly confused about how to deal with his friends because their faces were clearly bewildered and full of questions; after all, a monster that was supposed to be unbeatable now lay in pieces around them. All the fluids from inside it, whether it was blood or something else, had flooded over everyone. Finally, Dennis smiled.
"Um... is there anything I can help you with?" Dennis asked.
"Why are you asking? You’re insane, man. My hat’s off to you—I can’t believe you took down that crazy monster with just Daisy," answered Gary, who didn’t usually smile. Now he was smiling, looking visibly relieved, as he gripped Dennis’s shoulder and gave him a thumbs up.
"Incredible. Thank you so much, Den. I really thought my life was over today," Olivia said, giving Dennis a quick hug before immediately letting go, her face filled with relief.
"That was epic, dude. Seriously insane. I’m so proud to call you my friend," Jason said, patting Dennis’s shoulder. A few tears pricked the corners of his eyes even as he flashed a wide, relieved grin.
"Thank you, Dennis, Daisy. Thank you. I thought I’d never make it back home because my whole life flashed before my eyes—from the time I was a kid until now," Kimberly said, hugging Dennis briefly, looking completely overwhelmed with relief.
The other 11th-grade friends also looked relieved, though they stayed quiet, and a few were even sobbing. Andrew and Clara stepped forward.
"Sorry, Den... because of me, everyone was almost wiped out," Andrew said, hanging his head.
"Relax, bro. It wasn’t because of you. It was because of them," Dennis said, gesturing with his thumb toward Daisy, who was still berating Theo and Oscar while they knelt there, trembling.
"Yeah, we almost didn’t make it back. Thank you, Den," Clara added, bowing her head beside Andrew.
"Don’t mention it... I just did what I had to do, haha," Dennis said, laughing awkwardly.
"Hey... what the—hmph,"
Hearing Daisy’s muffled cry echoing behind him, Dennis spun around instantly. His eyes widened at the sight of Theo and Oscar sprawled on the ground, whether dead or alive he couldn’t tell. Meanwhile, a dhampir man who looked middle-aged with a white beard covering his face was smiling hideously, restraining Daisy from behind.
Dennis was stunned, his jaw dropping, as he recognized the man pinning Daisy down with chloroform. Yes, that man was his biological father—and Daisy’s foster father—the man who was supposed to be in the Aquamarine prison dome city. Dennis suddenly realized that when the man had contacted Daisy as the city of Emerald passed Aquamarine, it shouldn’t have been possible; no communication should have been able to leave Aquamarine.
That meant he had already escaped and jumped to Emerald somehow before contacting Daisy. The man clearly intended to violate his wife; Daisy was still struggling, but she looked pale and trembling until the sedative finally took hold and she went limp. Dennis clenched his fists until they turned white and shook. His teeth ground together as he stepped toward the man holding Daisy, blood-red aura crackling like lightning from his eyes as he moved.
Seeing Dennis approach, the man—his own biological father—immediately pressed a long blade against Daisy’s throat, forcing Dennis to stop.
"Let her go," Dennis said in a heavy voice.
"Hahaha... why would I ever let go of my favorite foster daughter? Look at her, her body has filled out and become so beautiful, I really want to try her out... who are you? Her husband?" the man asked mockingly.
"Dennis... remember me, Norman?" Dennis asked, his voice thick with rage.
The smile vanished from the man’s face, shocked to hear his name. He narrowed his eyes at Dennis, then suddenly his eyes widened and that cunning smirk returned.
"Hah... so you’re the kid I had with Kelly, huh... you’re still alive, I see," Norman said.
"Let her go," Dennis replied, growling in a low tone.
"Hmm... fate sure is funny thing. Fine, I’m heading out. Goodbye, you useless brat."
"Boom," Norman suddenly slammed a smoke bomb onto the ground. Dennis lunged forward instantly, but Norman had already vanished, taking Daisy with him.
"Damn it... I won’t forgive him. I’m going to kill him," Dennis growled.
