My SSS-Rank Skill and System is too OP in Modern Cultivation world-Chapter 55 - 56: The Ruins Open causing chaos.

Kent casually walked away, biting back laughter. Next, Kent spotted one more group of elite students boasting loudly about their family techniques. He couldn’t resist.

"These guys need to be humbled," Kent muttered, pulling out another bomb. He tossed it into their midst and waited.
BOOM!
💥
The elites froze as the smell hit them.
"Who did that?!" one of them roared, his face red with anger. "This is an insult to my family’s honour!"

As Kent continued his mischief, a Nexus and Watcher official approached the crowd, shouting for order.
"Who is causing this chaos?!" the official demanded.
Kent, the opportunist, pointed at a random student. "I saw him throw something earlier!"
The accused student turned pale. "I-I didn’t do anything!"
The crowd murmured, unsure of who to believe.

+77 SP from Student F (Confusion).
Kent grinned, enjoying every moment.
But his SP farming didn’t last long. Some Tier-3 and Tier-4 Watchers, with all the teachers, were discussing something important.
Jade Monroe was in the middle of the group. He gives an order by saying, We don’t have time. I will go to the ruins entrance. You should move the students quickly.
We incorrectly calculated the opening time. If these young people get sucked in, many will die. Although we take permission from their parents, we can’t put them in danger like that. They will have their time soon. They need more training.
Amidst the rising tension, a Tier-4 Nexus and Watcher official stepped onto a raised platform, his commanding presence instantly silencing the chaotic murmurs of the students. His spiritual energy amplified his voice, cutting through the crowd like a blade.
"Attention, everyone!" his voice boomed, echoing across the field. "The situation has escalated. The ruins are becoming unstable and could open at any moment."
Gasps rippled through the crowd, and panic began to bubble beneath the surface.
"To ensure your safety, we are moving all students far away from the vicinity of the ruins," the official continued. "Form groups and board your buses immediately. Time is of the essence."
He paused, his sharp gaze sweeping over the crowd. "However, if the ruins open before we can evacuate, you must follow these rules:
Stay with a group. Do not wander alone under any circumstances. Your teachers and Watcher officials will do everything in their power to guide and protect you. Do not act recklessly, or it will mean certain death."
The crowd fell silent, the weight of his words sinking in.
The official’s voice grew sterner. "Ruins are not a playground. They are ancient, unpredictable, and filled with dangers beyond your comprehension. Those who act without caution risk their lives and the lives of others."
In the back, a hushed murmur spread among the students. Some were visibly shaken, some people pissed their pants, while others looked excited, their eyes gleaming with the promise of glory and treasure.
"Stick with your class and teachers!" the official command. "Do not make this harder for us. Move to the buses immediately."
Kent stood near the edge of the crowd, his mind racing. "If they’re evacuating us, how am I supposed to get into the ruins?" he thought, clutching his chest dramatically.
"My treasures!" Kent whispered, his voice filled with exaggerated despair. "I can’t let all those ancient artifacts slip through my fingers."
[This is karma for all the chaos I caused earlier, isn’t it? Said to himself.]

Nearby, Ethan and Mia stood watching him, their expressions a mix of exasperation and curiosity.
"Snap out of it, Kent," Ethan said, waving him over. "We have to find the rest of our classmates and head to the buses."
Kent sighed, dragging his feet as he joined them. "Fine, I will help you." I won’t go with you guys. I have some work to do.
[Kent thought, "I swear, if I miss the ruins opening because of this evacuation, I need to sneak inside the ruins somehow. I can do it with my spiritual clock technique."]
Ethan raised an eyebrow. "You’re unbelievable. Do you even listen to yourself?" What work do you have here? This area has now turned into a danger zone. Let’s move.
Mia, as usual, remained silent, her stoic expression betraying nothing.
The trio weaved through the bustling crowd, searching for familiar faces. The air buzzed with nervous energy as students hurriedly formed groups, their voices overlapping in a chaotic symphony of panic and determination.
"Where’s Ryan?" Ethan asked, scanning the sea of students.
Kent smirked. "Probably hiding somewhere, hoping the ruins don’t open."
+99 SP copied from Ethan (Frustration).
As they continued their search, Kent’s sharp eyes caught sight of Ryan huddled near the back of a bus, looking pale and jittery.
"There he is," Kent said, pointing him out. "And he looks like he’s about to faint. Should I scare him for some quick SP?" Kent was lost in thought
Ethan rolled his eyes. "Focus, Kent." What are you daydreaming about?
Just as they regrouped with Ryan and a few other classmates, a deep rumble echoed through the ground.
RUMBLE!
The vibration was faint at first, like a distant thunderstorm, but it quickly grew stronger, shaking the very earth beneath their feet.
"What’s happening?" a student cried out, their voice laced with fear.
"The ruins!" someone shouted. "They’re opening!" Students became panicked. They started running left and right.
The Nexus official’s voice boomed across the field once more. "Stay calm! Do not panic! Find your teachers and stay together!"
The rumbling intensified, and cracks began to spread across the ground. A brilliant light erupted from the centre of the ruins, shooting into the sky like a beacon.
"Shit," Kent muttered, his heart pounding. "It’s happening."
Students scattered in every direction, some rushing toward the buses, others frozen in place. The Nexus officials and Watcher operatives scrambled to maintain order, their shouts barely audible over the deafening noise.
"Everyone stay together!" Ethan shouted, his voice barely cutting through the chaos.
Kent grabbed Mia’s arm, pulling her closer. "We need to move now!"
Crack!
With a deafening CRACK, the light from the ruins exploded outward, engulfing the entire area. The students screamed as the blinding brilliance consumed them, their forms vanishing one by one.
"Stay close!" Kent yelled, reaching for Ethan and Mia, but the force of the light was too strong.
"Ethan! Mia!" Kent shouted, but his voice was swallowed by the overwhelming noise.
When the light finally faded, Kent found himself alone, standing in a desolate landscape. The air was thick with spiritual energy, making it hard to breathe. The ground beneath him was cracked and dry, and the sky above was an eerie shade of red and blue.
"What the hell just happened?" Kent muttered, looking around.
He reached for his system interface.
Ding!
System Notification:
"You have entered an active ruin. Warning: You are in an isolated zone. Survival is the top priority."
Kent clenched his fists, his mind racing. "Ethan, Mia… where are you guys?"
He took a deep breath, his determination hardening. "Guess I’ll have to find them—and survive this place while I’m at it."
