Every word she spoke made Stella Seymour’s face look darker. "Melody Thorne, your mind is truly malicious," Stella screamed, "Even if I don’t speak out, Caleb will tell."

"He won’t," Melody Thorne said with absolute certainty. "He’s supposed to be by my side. If he can’t even keep secrets, how could I possibly let him stay by my side?"

Without a hint of expression, she managed to threaten Caleb as well.

Caleb stared at her. He intended to stir up discord between the two families, but now that Melody Thorne had spoken, he couldn’t move forward with that plan. Staying by Melody Thorne is a must for him.

"You can think it through, but which one will you sign? I’ll give you three seconds. If you agree, you can immediately sign the other one," Melody Thorne tossed a pen over.
