My System Increases My power Every Day Without Missions and Levelling-Chapter 270: Wrong Target
The pair of black-furred hands was enormous, tearing the crack wider before a gigantic black wolf stepped out.
Richard could only stare in awe at the largest creature he had ever seen.
However, what was truly terrifying was the pressure of the wolf’s aura—it was overwhelmingly oppressive.
Even the land itself seemed to be pressed downward by its presence.
This feeling was no less than that of the Crimson Grand Ancestor—far above even the Fire Spirit Queen.
How had he become so powerful now?
By now, Richard understood that Ancient Sovereigns were essentially divided into four tiers.
The Fire Spirit Queen was directly at Tier 2 thanks to her accumulation, while the Crimson Grand Ancestor and the White Ancestor were at Tier 4.
And so was this wolf—Evan Moonshadow. From his aura alone, he was clearly at Tier 4.
"Richard, we have to leave!" the Fire Spirit Queen said, causing Richard’s expression to darken.
After all, he was the one who had come here so rudely.
If he retreated now, it would be nothing short of humiliating himself.
But he couldn’t blame the Fire Spirit Queen—the enemy was simply too powerful.
"What’s wrong, boy? Are you afraid now?" Rebecca said.
"If you think this woman isn’t enough, why not call your ancestors from the Skylight Clan? Let them fight Evan, and we can battle here."
This was something Richard found difficult to respond to.
He frowned.
The wolf above continued to watch the Fire Spirit Queen, clearly ready to attack if she made a move.
Meanwhile, Rebecca stepped toward Richard, dragging her scythe along.
"I could offer you peace, of course," she said casually.
Richard didn’t need to think to guess what she wanted.
He snorted softly.
"You can keep dreaming... I’ve never been afraid of you," he replied.
"And I won’t hesitate to kill you if you challenge me," the woman responded. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Her eyes turned cold as she swung her scythe toward Richard.
It looked like a simple slash, but Richard felt that it wouldn’t just tear apart his body—it would rip apart his soul as well.
His physical strength seemed useless against such an attack. The only option was to block it.
Of course, he had another method—Void Mode.
He vanished, stepping swiftly beside the Fire Spirit Queen and Mrs. Wilson, pulling them into Void Mode to disappear together.
"This?" the Fire Spirit Queen and Mrs. Wilson were astonished.
For a moment, they had forgotten about Richard—and now they realized the truth.
For Rebecca, however, it was different.
She was confused, and Richard felt like he had just seen the funniest expression imaginable.
For some reason, Evan—the black wolf above—suddenly shifted his gaze toward the ark of the Order of the Heaven Emperor.
BANG!
He suddenly struck the ark, shocking even Rebecca.
"How dare you!" A furious shout echoed directly from within the ark.
Whoosh!
Sword slashes appeared from all directions, attacking the wolf, who quickly dodged with incredible agility.
An old man appeared out of nowhere, looking ordinary except for his sword, which shone with a majestic light spreading in all directions.
A Grand Weapon.
The Order of the Heaven Emperor naturally possessed the most of them, and only such a weapon suited the overwhelming power of that old man.
He actually dared to confront an Alpha-blooded werewolf at the peak of its strength head-on.
The battle quickly shook the heavens.
Its shockwaves even pushed the massive ark out of the Holy Star Kingdom—
sending it drifting toward the Holy Light Kingdom.
Rebecca’s expression darkened.
A mounted legion radiating a warlike aura arrived at Night Valley City, led by the Dark Abyss Young Master.
Of course, although he was the leader, he was not the strongest.
Several older Rulers accompanied him.
How could the Order of the Heaven Emperor ignore such a major provocation?
For the sake of their reputation, they would fight until their enemy was defeated.
"Lady Moonshadow, I’ve long heard of you," the Dark Abyss Young Master said.
"You are one of the most senior contenders of this era. I do not think I can fight you now. However, we are destined to compete. Since you have made the first move, we will not retreat no matter what. If you have other forces, call them. I believe you have secretly prepared trump cards."
Rebecca: "..."
Meanwhile, Richard, the Fire Spirit Queen, and Mrs. Wilson had already moved far away—still within Void Mode.
"Richard, this will turn into total chaos. The Order of the Heaven Emperor will not stop, and if Rebecca has the means to fight them, the chaos will only worsen," the Fire Spirit Queen said.
"I hope they keep fighting endlessly," Richard replied.
After that, he watched the intense battle unfold above Night Valley City.
Rebecca was being besieged by the Order of the Heaven Emperor’s legion, yet she fought back in a frenzy.
Her strength shocked Richard.
She used no tricks—yet somehow, she was incredibly powerful with just her scythe.
Boom!
Suddenly, an enormous hammer descended from the sky, attempting to strike the wolf—Evan.
"Another formidable figure from the Order of the Heaven Emperor," the Fire Spirit Queen said.
"How many do they have?" Richard asked.
"Three. The strongest one hasn’t appeared yet."
"You’re serious? There’s someone even stronger?"
"Yes—Chaos Master. He is a disciple of the Heaven Emperor Grand Sovereign. The Heaven Emperor favored him even more than his own son."
"How strong is he to surpass a Peak Ancient Sovereign?"
"There is no such thing as a Peak Ancient Sovereign. That is only the fourth stage. Above it lies the Fifth Stage, comparable to the weakest Grand Sovereigns. The Chaos Master should be very close to the Fifth Stage."
"Has anyone reached the Fifth Stage?" Richard asked, intrigued.
In the end, everyone only admired the Grand Sovereigns.
That was because they underwent a drastic transformation from Peak Ruler to something beyond all ancient beings.
No matter how strong an Ancient Sovereign was, it could never surpass the reputation of even the weakest Grand Sovereign.
Would reaching the Fifth Stage merely mean becoming equal to the weakest among them?
Who knew how difficult it truly was to achieve that?
"As far as I know, we are still in an era where Ancient Sovereigns or Peak Primordial Beasts are striving to break through that boundary. It’s not considered impossible—just extremely difficult. Of course, we can’t say no one has done it. Perhaps some have succeeded in secret, but there are no records of it. Well, even the Chaos Master hasn’t succeeded yet—and he is already very old."
