Chapter 27: Stop Causing Trouble for Others
"Why don't we just go in and see for ourselves? Men are a different person when they're alone. " Sana Woods could feel that Suri Drew seemed to harbor special feelings for Yigol Novak.
But she always felt that an outstanding woman like Suri shouldn't be interested in a man like Yigol.
In Sana's eyes, Yigol was too ordinary, not very talented, and always trying to control her, just like the people at home.
Suri was so good-looking and capable; she shouldn't be paired with a useless man like Yigol.
Thinking of the beautiful Suri and Yigol together, Sana felt like it was sinful, and she wouldn't allow such a thing to happen.
"This..." Sana's words successfully aroused Suri's curiosity, but Suri felt that doing so wasn't very respectful.
After all, Yigol always respected her.
Going into his room without his permission would be impolite.
"Sister, what're you hesitating for? He won't find out, and if he does, just say that I wanted to go into his room. He won't blame you." Sana urged her by the side.
Suri began to be tempted.
"But what if we go and see for ourselves, and your brother isn't the way you described him?" Suri struggled to hold back her curiosity and asked.
"I can guarantee his room will be as messy as a pigsty." Sana said confidently, "He's my brother. How could I not know what kind of person he is?"
"But what if it's not?" Suri was still hesitant.
"It won't be, I promise. Otherwise, he wouldn't be my brother. Sister, haven't you heard? Men lust for women, and faced with a beauty like you every day, how could he remain unmoved? Who knows what kind of tissues might be lying around?"
Suri's face suddenly turned red, and she was curious whether Yigol had 'that' in his room.
"Come on, sister, stop dithering and get the key out." Sana impatiently urged.
"Hey, girl, that's your brother. How could you speak ill of him and help an outsider like me?"
"Shouldn't you be helping your brother and praising him in every way? Why aren't you playing by the rules?" Suri asked, puzzled.
"He's not worthy of you. Why would I help him harm you? It would be his luck if an ugly woman fancies him in the future." Sana said derogatorily while thinking to herself, "Bro, don't blame your sister. It can't be helped; Suri is just too beautiful. You're not worthy of her, so don't ruin her life. Better to expose your true nature sooner and put an end to that attachment."
Suri listened and laughed.
She had seen those types of movies in Yigol's phone before. Maybe he actually did 'that' in his room, who knows?
"Suri? Stop giggling and get the key." Seeing Suri giggling, Sana urged anxiously.
"Alright, I'll listen to you." Suri finally agreed happily.
Suri took out the key and unlocked Yigol's bedroom door.
As soon as the door was opened, Sana rushed in.
Suri hesitated for a moment, not sure whether to enter or not.
Sana walked forward a few steps and suddenly stopped, looking dumbfounded as if she saw something she couldn't accept.
Seeing Sana's reaction, Suri's heart also raced. Was Yigol's room filled with those tissues, as Sana had said?
"Sana? What's going on?" Suri asked uneasily.
Suri dared not go further in. What if she really saw those scenes? How would she react?
Women are such complex beings, curious yet afraid to see the truth.
"This shouldn't be!" Sana couldn't believe it as she continued walking. She went to Yigol's bed and yanked the covers - it was empty.
Suri entered the room on hearing the noise.
She saw a clean room; no signs of what Sana had mentioned.
But didn't Yigol have those movies on his phone?
He was obviously a normal man.
Why was his room so clean?
Did this mean that in Yigol's heart, she was less attractive than the women in the movies?
Like searching for treasure, Sana looked everywhere and didn't even spare the trash can.
But she searched for a long time and found no evidence.
"This shouldn't be happening! How could this happen?"
"Could it be in another place? The wardrobe, the bathroom?"
Sana meticulously searched both places and was still disappointed.
The entire room was tidy and didn't look like a man's dwelling at all.
Not just men, but even women wouldn't have seen a room this clean.
"Suri, did you make a mistake?" Sana asked, puzzled.
Suri asked confusedly, "Did I make a mistake?"
"Yeah, does my brother not live here?" Sana speculated.
"If not here, then where?" Suri was confused.
"That doesn't make sense. It's not scientifically possible." Sana was more irritated the more she searched.
At this point, Suri was also getting agitated.
Yigol owned eleven buildings, after all. Although they were leased out, shouldn't there be some ownership papers?
Instead of one property deed for each building, there should be one for every house – it added up to thousands.
Since these items were not found in Yigol's room, where could they be?
Yigol's room only contained his personal belongings, with no sign of any property-related possessions.
Could they have been stored in the bank? free webnov el.com
Or maybe at Yigol's house?
Did he actually live somewhere else, with a home of his own?
Suri suddenly felt very uneasy. She worried that her dream wouldn't last long.
Yigol had always seemed genuine around her, but was it his real side?
Or was it just what she thought was genuine?
However, from when they first met, it didn't feel like Yigol deliberately approached her.
Could he be the unreliable person she suspected, and she happened to stumble into his life and become his prey?
Unable to help herself, Suri began to think wildly.
"What do you think of your brother now, girl?"
"This shouldn't have happened. It shouldn't have been like this." Sana also felt upset, "I got it. It must be because of me. He cleaned up before I arrived; otherwise, this wouldn't have happened."
