My Vampire Prince..-Chapter 130: Goodbye to what?
Chapter 130: What I saw must not be seen.
Damien bit his lip at the mention of his brother’s name.
"Severin?" Damien caressed her fingers. He brought them up to his lips and laid soft kisses on each one.
"You mentioned him before too my love. And now you saw him in your dreams?"
Elena straightened herself. "I’m sure of what I saw. I did see him in real life when I woke up back in Kesath. My eyes weren’t fully open but I’m sure of what I saw."
Elena brought her hand and clasped it around the one Damien held close to his lips. "Believe me darling. I’m not crazy."
Damien chuckled. That was the funniest thing he’d heard all day. "I never said you were crazy my love."
Elena frowned, pouting her lips.
"Why wouldn’t I think that when you’re looking at me like that."
Damien kissed her hand once more, staring right at her.
"Like what?"
"Can we please get back to the matter at hand?" Isolde interrupted.
Damien turned to look at the intruder. His eyes steeled up but he still smiled.
"Don’t interrupt us again... ma’am."
"Ugh?!" Elena groaned.
"What else did you see? Lio? Who’s that?"
"He’s a dragon too. One of our allies."
"And you said you saw him and Severin in your dreams."
"Yes."
"Doing what?"
"Just standing there..." Elena stared into the space blankly. "... looking at me."
Her head snapped back to Damien. "Then I woke up. I was awake alright but I couldn’t lift my eyelids open. When I did mange to, I saw him... standing over me..."
Damien appeared to be in deep thought. If Severin truly was around then there had to be a reason. Knowing his half-brother, he was damned sure there was a catch somewhere."
"I’ll ask the elders about that later ok? Since Elder Zephyr was the one who’d called him, he should know."
"But if Elyria and Lio knew we were looking for Severin, why didn’t they inform us?"
Damien quietened down. Elena was right. Those two knew very well how much he had wanted to find his brother.
"Something probably came up over there."
he said gently.
He leaned forward, cupped her cheek and kissed her gently.
"Oh for goodness sake." Isolde groaned, rolling her eyes. She dramatically slammed the door behind her.
Damien’s free hand reached for her waist and pulled her flush against him. His hot mouth dove deeper into hers, his tongue licking hers, his mouth sucking her lips hard.
Elena felt her head heat up. She had forgotten how insanely skilled this man she called her husband was when it came to pleasure.
Unwilling to let go, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself up to straddle him.
Damien’s hands left her face and began to explore every part of her body. His large hands palmed her back, moving upward till it reached the clasp of her bra. With a single flick of his finger, it came undone. Damien ripped it from under her dress and flung it aside. Now free from the restrictions, his hands replaced the bra, kneading her soft mounds every chance he got.
"Darling..." Elena moaned against his mouth.
"Mhm?" Damien replied back not going easy in his administrations to her body.
"Isolde...Isolde is ri—"
"I don’t fuvking care." Damien cut her short in a rasped voice.
"I crave you so badly, my queen."
With that his lips tore away from hers and latched onto one of her mounds. The moans from Elena heightened to its peak as his mouth sucked her while his hand kneaded the other one, squeezing it at intervals."
"You’ve gotten fuller my love." Damien murmured, his other hand exploring her laps and curves. He bit her taut nipple slightly hard. Elena arched her back against him, giving him more advantage over her.
He flipped her onto the bed and turned off the bed lamp.
"Let’s try this again, my queen."
Damien ripped open her dress hurriedly while Elena undid the buckle of his belt. He guided her gently to lay on the bed again while he knelt in between her legs.
"Tell me you want it my love. Tell me you want me now."
Elena’s eyes look dreamily at him. This man was as delicious as he sounded. A wave of boldness hit her and before she knew it, she jumped on him, tackling him down to the bed while she was on top of him.
She felt a hint of a smile on his handsome face.
"I’ll be on top tonight."
"As you wish...my lady."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Calithar landed powerfully in front of the gates of the Moon territory.
"Calithar?" Seraphine asked slightly surprised. "Here for another favor?"
Calithar smirked and walked up to her. He took her hands and kissed them. "I bring you lilies from my land, fair lady."
Seraphine scoffed as he handed her the flowers; Moon tears was the name of the lily. It only bloomed once every thousand years in the Moon palace then it scattered itself all over the earth like rain. Hence it’s name, Moon tears.
"You bring the goddess of the moon Moon tears?"
"Because I know you’ve already used all the ones you have for your healing baths."
Seraphine smiled. Gathering Moon tears was as hard as seeing Zeres in a good mood.
"I’m guessing you have come for some other reasons too right?"
"Unfortunately, yes." Calithar admitted.
Seraphine sighed tiredly.
"I should really ban you from this place shouldn’t I?"
"Then I’d be left with no choice but to break in."
"We’ll see how my father would take that." she smirked before walking in front of him.
Seraphine’s long lilac gown clung to her sides softly, giving her a gentle womanly aura. The sleeves of the gown hung lightly around her shoulders, exposing her clear, porcelain skin.
She soon stopped by the serene clear pool of water, settling down on the bed of mild grass in front of it.
Calithar stared at her as she settled herself down gracefully. No wonder every god wanted her hand in marriage. She was more than just a goddess; Seraphine was an epitome of purity, carved in the very image of her mother, Dezra.
She eyed Calithar for a second and snapped her fingers at him before he got the message.
Calithar, not wanting to waste her time, pulled out two small nylons from his pockets.
"Can you tell what person stepped on this sand?"
Seraphine’s beautiful face contorted lightly.
"You’re the earth god. Why did you bring this to me?"
"Because I have failed to do it, Seraphine. This person who stepped on this every earth is not...well, a person to be sincere."
"Calithar..." Seraphine dragged out his name.
"Oh please don’t give me that look Seraphine. I beg you."
"You know I can’t interfere with matters of the humans. You know this."
"But you did when that man Xavriel almost killed Elena. Besides, these people aren’t humans." Calithar stressed.
"That was because she wasn’t human. Elena is not human, understand? And how sure are you that they aren’t even human?"
"I—I..."
Calithar fell quiet. She’s right. He couldn’t prove it.
He had expected her to reject the offer. In another vein, he didn’t blame her.
"His energy Seraphine. It’s nothing like I’ve ever felt before. It’s unknown, dark, completely incomprehensible. Like some mutated new specie."
Seraphine stared hard at Calithar.
"I wouldn’t be asking you for this if I wasn’t sure." Calithar continued.
She looked at him one last time then got up.
"Follow me." she said softly. Seraphine walked slowly to where the massive Moon palace stood. Once inside, she raised her hands and the place was instantly shrouded with thousands of stars, galaxies and universes.
"Give me the sand." she ordered in her usual calm voice.
Calithar handed her the two bags: the black one contained the sand the strange man had stepped on while the other white contained the sand where the female had stepped on.
Seraphine took the white bag and threw it into the midst of the heavenly bodies. A halo formed behind her head and she radiated divine light.
"This one is a dragon" her authoritative but sweet voice boomed.
She then took the second one and repeated the same process. This time, it took longer than the first one.
All of a sudden, a massive quake shook the entire structure. The thousands of constellations, universes and galaxies began to vanish at the speed of light one after the other.
The halo on Seraphine’s head was the only thing that remained perfectly intact. Her eyes once shut, flew open immediately, revealing a pair of flaring purple in one eye and terrifying white in the other.
"Seraphine! Seraphine!" Calithar yelled, reaching out to grab her. As he reached for her arm, hot sensations coursed through his entire being, flinging him into the dome above the palace.
The guards and other creatures rushed into the palace, their eyes wide in horror as they beheld their beloved queen in a trance like state.
"Seraphine!"
"My queen!" the creatures squealed.
The guards made to get her but Calithar was faster.
Calithar jumped to his feet, threw out his wings and with all the energy his godly body could offer, dashed for her with lightening speed.
The barrier of heat broke upon his sharp intrusion. Calithar swept her up in his arms the second he was able to break the barrier.
The quaking stopped and silence draped over the whole place...
"Seraphine... Seraphine..." Calithar called out gently, lightly tapping her face. The Elowen nymphs and Lunaris sprites sprinkled the water from the spring at the back of the palace gently on her face.
Seraphine’s body lay in Calithar’s arms. It’s been almost an hour since she became unconscious. He began to worry.
For that to happen meant something must have gone wrong when she tried to break past a powerful barrier. As the goddess of the moon, her clairvoyance made it easy to see any one one earth or in the cosmos no matter where they hid.
But this...
It was like someone or something had blocked her eyes from seeing it.
Being the earth god, he became worried about the matter. This personality, being or whatever it was wasn’t normal.
To have made the highest ranking goddess among all to become as weak as this, then the person was not to be taken lightly.
After a few more splashes of water, Seraphine came around. She immediately composed herself.
The sprites, nymphs and everyone gathered there jumped on her, making tiny noises Calithar guessed to be worry.
He stood up and hugged her.
"I’m so sorry for making you do this."
Seraphine pulled away from his hug, looking serious.
"That’s not the case at hand now. This person you’re talking about is bad news. Stay away from him and do not investigate further." she said in a sharp tone then turned to the guards.
"See him out." she instructed.
The guards, not caring about status but only the words of their supreme queen, made their way towards Calithar.
Calithar stood there dumbstruck as the hefty guards lifted him off his feet.
"Wh...why are you doing this? What did you see?!"
But Seraphine didn’t reply. She only had a confused, somewhat scared look on her face.
"Seraphine!"
"Take him out I said!" she yelled. Everyone cowered back in fear. It was the first time ever the moon goddess had ever raised her voice.
Just what could she have seen?!
"Seraphine! No stop! Seraphine! Tell me what you saw!"
Calithar yelled and screamed her name but she didn’t reply. Seraphine turned her back to him as his voice drowned in the silence.
Once his voice was no longer heard, she sank to the ground. The sprites and nymphs immediately gathered around her, fluttering over her body to calm her down.
"I’m fine ok." she said softly. "I’m sorry I yelled. I must have startled you."
The creatures nodded their tiny heads.
Seraphine allowed them rain petals on her. It was their way of trying to ease her mind but deep down she knew there was nothing that could calm her down.
Not after what she saw...
