My Werewolf System-Chapter 1312: Fight Or Run?

The group were still huddled and gathered in the car park of the Garden. Most of them were spread into two different sides, there were those that were ready to leave mostly the Howlers and those that wanted to stay to see if they could make some type of difference.

And that's when a particular person had entered.

"Gary Dem, the leader of the Howlers…right?" Trixie pointed her finger over. "Did I get hit on the head too hard and seeing things?"

"You're not," Kai answered. "He's the other rookie that was with us when we all entered. If you couldn't tell already since he's here, we were hired by your bosses, we are the Howlers gang."

"I see so that's what's happening, that's why everyone's here," Blake said. "Did you clean up, what was left behind?"

As Blake asked this question, his knuckles were whitening.

"It's not what you want to hear Blake," Gary answered. "I took care of her, and the others so there aren't any more that are following us….but I also kept my promise to Midwak, If the situation comes up again, it won't be a situation where I will make that promise.

"And if there is anything you wish to do…I won't stop you from doing that either," Gary answered.

Blake wanted to complain, he wanted to shout, but part of him was a little joyous. If she hadn't been dealt with, then at least he could deal with her himself.

Gary's head flicked up as he could feel the large powers attacking and rumbling in the distance.

"Gary, I was going to suggest for all of us to leave," Kai said. "Due to the situation, with a fight like that, we can't really get involved. We did as those from the Settlement asked us, we delivered the package, so we should have no problems, right Blackjack?"

"If the King gave his word, then that is the case," Blackjack said, but the worried look on his face was almost saying something else, but it was likely because he was concerned for Edvard as well.

"All of us, are at our limit. We've fought so hard, and we don't want to lose anyone. We got Blake and Innu, and that was your main goal as well right, so I think it's the best time for us to leave!"

"No!" Joy shouted again. "Blackjack, they seem to be listening to you somewhat, say something."

Balckjack stood up still groaning in pain from his wound.

"What I said before is true, right now it looks like Edvard is winning his fight, but there is a reason why we haven't been able to get rid of Lupus as of late. You should know Werewolves are resilient more than anything.

"If you help out Edvard, this could be the chance to get rid of a threat once and for all."

There was Kai who was suggesting one thing, and then there were the others as well, and Gary himself was conflicted about the whole thing.

Lupus an enemy, the person who was behind the packages behind sent to Slough, controlling Sin to attack them. Even if it wasn't direct he had done some indirect things in an attempt to get rid of them.

However, even Kai had experienced the distrust of the vampires..and could they do anything. Sure, Gary could still transform into his Shadow Ash Lycan form, but it was no longer night.

He didn't have the same stats as before, his shadow Ash Lycan form wouldn't be strong enough and he no longer had the skill he used against Ylva.

Leaving him two choices, to transform into his other form. Using his weapon here wouldn't be enough.

"Gary…if you want my honest opinion, the reason why I'm not advising you to fight in all of this…is probably what you're thinking as well," Kai said. "I no longer fully trust the Settlement and their true goal.

"Getting rid of Lupus…I'm not even sure if it's the best thing, but what they are all saying is right. This might be our best chance to get rid of him, but I don't have the power to do that, only you do, so in my mind that is not an option, because I am not the one with the power to do that."

Kai was right about one thing, they had already accomplished far more then they were meant to, and Gary knew in this city there were far more Werewolves out and about. If they stayed here longer they would be in trouble.

"We…need to leave, let's head back to Slough…I don't want to lose anyone," Gary answered. "The rest of you are free to come with me as well."

As Gary had made the decision everyone felt like there was nothing they could do, and Austin in his condition felt like he was somewhat at fault for that. Right then, the entire group started to move and run for the car park, a large chunk of them leaning on each other's shoulders.

A large scale attack was heard and felt shaking right through the entire place and the rumbling was felt through all of them. Gary could feel it several times, and he closed his eyes.

"The rest of you, keep going and get out of here!" Gary said as he turned around.

"If there's a chance to end it all here…then I need to face him….I need to see it first hand!" Gary shouted as he ran off into the distance toward the fight.
