My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 101 - 95: Filming a Costume Drama on an Island?
Alvin Morgan and Aurora Sinclair suddenly heard Susan Warner’s extremely exaggerated laughter from not too far behind them.
"Honey, the scenery here is beautiful! Quick, take a couple of pictures of me. Huh? Isn’t that Whitlock and Aurora? You two are hanging out here, too?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded, glancing doubtfully at the pile of rocks. ’Haven’t they been watching us for a while now?’
Alvin Morgan pointed at his wrist and looked at the two of them with amusement. "Aren’t your legs sore from squatting for so long?"
Susan Warner’s expression stiffened. Then, embarrassed and annoyed, she walked over and swatted Alvin Morgan. "You brat! Why didn’t you say something sooner?"
Then she turned to Aurora Sinclair with a very kind expression, took her hand, and patted it. "Aurora, dear, Grandma and Grandpa were looking for big sea crabs for you!"
"Where’s the bucket?" Alvin Morgan asked.
A flash of irritation passed through Susan Warner’s eyes, but she kept the smile on her face. "The bucket is... Honey, where’s the bucket?"
Cassius Morgan reluctantly turned to "look" for the bucket, then after a moment, he shouted, "The bucket fell into the sea and was washed away..."
Alvin Morgan: ...
Susan Warner secretly gave a thumbs-up, mentally applauding her husband’s quick thinking, but her face was a mask of deep regret.
Aurora Sinclair even comforted her, "It’s okay. Mr. Beta caught a lot."
Alvin Morgan watched his grandmother drag Aurora Sinclair away, then glanced at Cassius Morgan as he approached. "What are you trying to pull?" he asked flatly.
Cassius Morgan chuckled slyly and asked in a low voice, "Did she reject you? Don’t worry, your grandpa has been around the block..."
Before he could finish, Alvin Morgan’s face hardened, and he strode forward, though the tips of his ears were turning a faint red.
"Hey, don’t go! Grandpa can teach you..." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"No need. She’s still young..."
"What do you mean, young? At her age, your grandma had already given birth to your eldest uncle! Hey, you brat, wait for me..."

Walking ahead, Susan Warner found herself more and more pleased with Aurora Sinclair the longer she looked at her. She was good-looking and had a good personality, and rumor had it her grades were exceptional. If all went well, she would get into Erin’s academy this year.
Her only flaw was that the main branch of the Sinclair family was a bit of a headache, but with Alvin Morgan around, that mother-daughter duo wouldn’t be able to bully her.
At this thought, an idea struck Susan Warner, and she decided to ask on Alvin’s behalf, "Aurora, what do you think of my Whitlock?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded repeatedly. "Morgan is a great person."
Susan Warner’s face lit up with joy, and she grinned from ear to ear, but her next question was still phrased subtly. "Besides being a good person, does he have any other good qualities?"
Aurora Sinclair glanced back at Alvin Morgan, who had fallen far behind them, and thought for a moment. "He’s rich, smart, and as handsome as my idol..."
"Idol?" Susan Warner had been getting excited listening to her, but when she heard that word, her expression instantly changed.
’She has a rival for her affection? No wonder she rejected my grandson! No way. I can’t let this person get away with it.’
"Aurora, can you let Grandma see?"
Suspecting nothing, Aurora Sinclair took her phone out of her pocket.
Susan Warner’s heart sank. ’Oh no, she even has a picture saved on her phone. It looks like she really likes him!’
When a familiar photo appeared on the screen, Susan Warner’s eyes widened, and she was speechless for a long moment.
"You like him?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded blankly and recited the lines Jean Quincy and Luna Jennings had practically brainwashed her with. "My idol is flawlessly handsome from every single angle..."
Susan Warner was conflicted.

After returning that afternoon, Susan Warner stewed on it for a long time. Feeling thoroughly distressed, she finally called her youngest son.
"Raymond, let me ask you a question. Would you ever marry a fan?"
Darius Lynch, who was in the middle of having a fake beard applied for a historical drama, burst out laughing. "Mom, whose scandalous rumors have you been reading now?"
Susan Warner snuck a glance at the figure busy cooking in the kitchen, then ran to a corner with her phone and lowered her voice. "The girl your nephew likes is one of your ’ice creams’..."
Darius Lynch was stunned for a second, then he slammed the table and laughed so hard that tears streamed down his face. "HAHAHA... So he finally got his turn! Quick, tell me the address! I have to go watch the drama unfold..."
"Aren’t you afraid of blowing your cover!" Susan Warner shook her head helplessly. Her youngest son just loved to stir up trouble.
"See you tonight—"
"Hey—"
The call was disconnected.
On the other end, Darius Lynch moved with incredible speed. He immediately had his manager ask the director for a day off, and two hours later, he was on a private jet.

「In the kitchen.」
Aurora Sinclair and Leigh Miles were helping the Morgan men prepare the seafood.
As soon as the steamer lid was lifted, the rich aroma of seafood filled the kitchen, wafting straight to their noses.
Enduring the envious and jealous stares of his comrades, Dean Morgan silently picked up a spoon and walked over to Aurora Sinclair.
A bowl of shimmering golden sea crab soup was placed before him.
The other men swallowed hard, thinking to themselves, ’That guy really has a fool’s luck. Just because he’s good with kids, he’s earned the trust of the two young women and gets to have a special serving before everyone else eats.’
"Miss Sinclair, is there any more?" Flynn Morgan asked, egged on by the others.
Aurora Sinclair nodded and ladled out another bowl from the pot.
Seeing how agreeable Aurora Sinclair was, the Morgan men quickly grabbed their spoons and lined up for some soup.
She only had time to set aside three bowls before the entire, massive pot was completely divvied up.
Arthur Lockwood, who had wandered into the kitchen looking for a snack, was stunned by the sight.
The Morgan men were obediently lined up, each holding a bowl, waiting for Aurora Sinclair to serve them seafood soup.
Every one of them had shining eyes, looking even more eager than they did when they saw Alvin Morgan.
’Are these still the Morgans’ iron-willed guards?’
Alvin Morgan, who had arrived with him, stood at the doorway with one hand in his pocket. His gaze darkened slightly, and he let out a soft cough.
The men inside froze as if struck by lightning. Two seconds later, they chugged the soup in their bowls with lightning speed and hid the evidence behind their backs as if that would make them invisible.
However, a few burps from Dean Morgan were rather conspicuous.
Alvin Morgan shot them a cool glance before walking over to Aurora Sinclair. He took a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"Are you tired?"
Aurora Sinclair shook her head, then ladled another bowl of seafood soup from the pot for him.
Alvin Morgan took the bowl and swept his gaze over the guards loitering nearby. "Clean up the kitchen later!" he ordered coldly.

Aurora Sinclair’s cooking was excellent and was a huge hit with the Morgans and Arthur Lockwood.
Susan Warner was more than satisfied with her as a potential Morgan daughter-in-law. The only problem she was struggling with now was *whose* daughter-in-law she would be.
’It’s like choosing between the palm and the back of your hand; you can’t favor one over the other,’ she thought. ’I just hope my youngest son doesn’t make a mess of things.’
Just as she was thinking this, Aurora Sinclair suddenly stood up, her expression serious as she looked out the window. "Who’s there—"
Everyone in the room went on high alert, only relaxing when Elton Morgan’s somewhat simple-looking face appeared.
He was followed by a face so handsome it defied the heavens.
"Darius Lynch—"
Leigh Miles cried out in disbelief. She looked from the man standing there to a picture of him on her phone, her eyes darting back and forth several times in a reaction very similar to Aurora Sinclair’s earlier.
Darius Lynch was startled as well. He had only meant to sneak a peek, not expecting to be discovered the moment they approached the dining room window.
Elton Morgan scanned the people in the room, his gaze finally landing on Aurora Sinclair with a hint of awe.
The two of them brushed the dirt off their clothes and stepped inside through the glass doors.
Darius Lynch maintained a calm expression, flashing a perfect eight-toothed smile at Leigh Miles. "You know me?"
Leigh Miles nodded eagerly, her eyes shining. She grabbed Aurora Sinclair’s arm and said excitedly, "Aurora, it’s the idol, Darius Lynch! Jean would go crazy if she knew—"
Aurora Sinclair calmly patted her hand. "Don’t tell anyone."
"Huh? Why not?"
Aurora Sinclair looked at Alvin Morgan.
He seemed to be in a bad mood. A cold light glinted in his deep-set eyes, the smile on his lips had faded, and his long fingers rested casually on the table as his gaze fixed on the two newcomers.
"Youngest Mr. Morgan, what brings you here?" Arthur Lockwood asked, his eyes gleaming. It was obvious he was eager for some drama involving Alvin Morgan.
’Based on his years of experience playing the field, it was obvious to him that Morgan had fallen for Aurora Sinclair. The only problem was, the girl seemed to be naturally clueless and hadn’t realized it at all.’
Sensing his mother’s intense stare, Darius Lynch chuckled and said, "I just happened to be filming nearby."
Leigh Miles looked back and forth between Darius Lynch and Alvin Morgan, then had a sudden realization. "Oh! So the idol is Morgan’s relative!"
Aurora Sinclair nodded again.
Just then, Alvin Morgan, who had been silent all this time, suddenly sneered. "Filming a historical drama... on a tropical island?"
The smile on Darius Lynch’s face instantly froze.
’He’d forgotten that Alvin Morgan was the main backer of his film production company.’
An awkward atmosphere spread through the dining room, and everyone present found themselves holding their breath.
Suddenly—
"One last hug, one last goodbye, ’cause I know that once I leave, we’ll never meet again..."
Darius Lynch’s famous song blared out, and the hearts of the Morgans instantly leaped into their throats.
Aurora Sinclair calmly pulled her phone out of her pocket, stood up, and slowly started walking outside.
The Morgans silently turned to look at Alvin Morgan...
