My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 131 - 125: He Has Screwed Over Many Female Players
An unfamiliar male voice came through the phone.
"Aurora, my teammates know you’re Master Rory. Manager Lowe from PL has his eye on your skills and wants you to join Team PL..."
Alvin Morgan had been silent since the man started talking. The contact name on the phone was just a single word, "Lowell," and it was in the ’friends’ group. He’d assumed it was a girl, but it turned out to be a man. In that case, the caller’s identity was obvious.
’The Lowell family’s young master, Ethan Lowell.’
"Aurora, the pro scene is treacherous. It’s not easy for a newcomer to make a name for themselves. It would be better to come to PL. I can look out for you..."
Hearing this, Alvin Morgan finally cut in. "Thanks, but she doesn’t need anyone else to look after her!"
Ethan Lowell, on the other end of the line, was startled by the unexpected male voice. He demanded sharply, "Who are you? Why do you have Aurora’s phone?"
Alvin Morgan watched the figure ahead of him, the corners of his mouth turning up. He replied, in a surprisingly good mood, "She gave it to me, of course."
"Who the hell are you?"
"I... am the one who can let her do whatever she wants in DAF!"
As soon as he said that, the voice on the other end went silent.
The smile on Alvin Morgan’s lips widened. He lowered the phone and hit the end-call button.
Ethan Lowell slowly lowered his phone, his gaze darkening. His knuckles turned white as he gripped the device.
’So they look down on me, huh?’
’Fine. Just fine...’
Arthur Lockwood sneezed for no apparent reason.
He rubbed his nose and gazed at the blue sky outside his window.
’I really want to go relax, too!’
"Sir, PL just made an offer of ten million," Gideon Lockwood said with a chuckle, phone in hand.
Arthur Lockwood rolled his eyes. "Do I look like I need their money? Tell Felix Lowe that White himself has his eye on this person. He should just give up. And tell him to be careful, or White might just poach their ace Summoner personally!"
Gideon Lockwood grinned mischievously.

A PL trainee found Felix Lowe and quickly explained the connection between Ethan Lowell and Master Rory. But Lowe just shook his head regretfully. "We can’t poach her. DAF won’t let her go."
"Can’t we have Ethan Lowell talk to her? Lay out the pros and cons..."
"No. White was probably the one who brought Master Rory into DAF."
"Really?"
Before Felix Lowe could finish, a man’s voice cut him off. He turned to see Team PL’s fearsome captain, Julian Lawson.
Julian Lawson had gotten into esports years ago out of immense admiration for Summoner White. He had originally wanted to join DAF but was flatly rejected on the grounds that DAF didn’t need any more Summoners.
Later, he was scouted by Felix Lowe of Team PL and invited to join.
Julian Lawson did not let Felix Lowe’s faith and training go to waste. Relying on old match footage of White, he painstakingly honed his skills and tactics, gradually making a name for himself. People in the scene started calling him "Little God Whitlock," and he was eventually promoted to captain of Team PL.
Under his leadership, PL won three national championships, placed second in two international tournaments, and took third in another.
It got to the point that every time Arthur Lockwood saw him, he regretted his decision to turn him down.
Julian Lawson had once joked that money could no longer tempt him to join DAF—unless White himself personally invited him.
On multiple occasions, he had also stated that White would always be his mentor, even if they had never spoken a single word to each other.
Clearly, White held a very high position in his heart.

The moment Felix Lowe saw him, his heart sank. Even though Gideon Lockwood’s threat had been a joke, he couldn’t be sure what Julian Lawson was thinking.
"Lowe, did White really request a player to join DAF personally?" Julian Lawson asked again.
He had a stern face, and his eyes were particularly intimidating; he had a way of looking at people that made them inexplicably afraid. His years as captain had only added to his imposing aura—even the team’s coach was a little scared of him at times.
"That’s what Mr. Lockwood from DAF said," Felix Lowe replied cautiously.
Felix Lowe was genuinely worried that Julian Lawson might get ideas. Just as he was about to say something more, Julian sneered, "Send me her match VODs. I’d like to see just how strong this person Divine Whitlock has taken an interest in really is!"
Due to his training schedule, Julian Lawson hadn’t had time to watch the open qualifiers. However, the other members of Team PL had, and they kept hyping it up to him, saying there were two incredibly skilled newcomers.
So, after getting a call from his coach, he flew straight over to watch the second round-robin match, only to hear this conversation the moment he arrived.
When Felix Lowe heard this, he breathed a sigh of relief...
He immediately had someone pull up the VODs for Julian Lawson. But after only ten minutes, Julian’s brow furrowed. After rewatching two of the videos, he said suddenly, "Echo and Madam Whitlock... they might be Divine Whitlock!"
The other trainees were stunned. "For real?" one asked in disbelief. "Captain, are you sure they’re both Divine Whitlock?"
"I can’t be one hundred percent certain, but I’m eighty percent sure. I’ve been studying Divine Whitlock’s matches for years; I know basically every move and tactic he has. Echo and Madam Whitlock are definitely the same person. Their movements, their strategic use of Skills—it’s all nearly identical. And every time Madam Whitlock ambushes another player, her strategy is almost exactly the same as White’s..."
As Julian Lawson spoke, he glanced at Felix Lowe, who looked rather guilty and unnatural.
"Am I right, Lowe?"
Felix Lowe froze for a second before nodding reluctantly. But he quickly straightened his face and spoke sternly to the trainees. "This does not leave this room! DAF said that White has no plans to make a comeback. He’s only here to compete alongside Master Rory."
"...His girlfriend?" A flicker of displeasure crossed Julian Lawson’s eyes.
In his mind, White had always been an invincible god of war. Even after White had inexplicably withdrawn from the scene, retiring without a word of explanation—a move that angered most players in Veridia and led foreign competitors to slanderously accuse him of using cheats to achieve his 200-match win streak in the international arena—Julian still admired him from the bottom of his heart. He believed White must have been forced to retire.
For years, he had dedicated himself to studying White’s match VODs, and his admiration only deepened with time. White absolutely deserved the title of the greatest player to ever battle in Valoria Veridia.
But now, Felix Lowe was telling him that the reason White had returned to the competitive stage was... a girl?
He simply couldn’t accept it, and his tone hardened.
In response to Julian Lawson’s question, Felix Lowe shook his head. "I don’t think so. Master Rory is one of Ethan Lowell’s classmates, so she’s still young. White probably recognized her talent and joined the competition specifically to pave the way for her."
"Pave the way?" Julian Lawson sneered again. "Since when is Divine Whitlock so kindhearted? Back in the day, he sabotaged plenty of female players." In his mind, he had already pegged Master Rory as a skilled but deeply manipulative girl.
Seeing his captain’s contempt for Aurora Sinclair, Ethan Lowell retorted unhappily, "Captain, Master Rory is incredibly strong. It’s not impossible that White would pave the way for her!"
Julian Lawson shot him a look, snorted coldly, and walked out.
After he left, Sean Colby looked at Ethan Lowell with concern. "Ethan, he’s the team captain. Talking to him like that could get you benched for years."
But Ethan Lowell’s face was hard as he swept his gaze over the other trainees in the room. "He’s not the only one who calls the shots on this team," he said coldly.

Meanwhile, at the amusement park.
The group was in line for the Ferris wheel.
Each car could hold four people. Jean Quincy, Leigh Miles, Zeke Quincy, and Glenn Lockwood—who had forced his way in and refused to get out—boarded the first car. Titus Miles and Joel Morgan, who had been squeezed out, followed Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan into the second car, while the rest of the group took the third.
As the Ferris wheel slowly began to rise, Aurora Sinclair and the two children knelt on the seats, looking out curiously and letting out occasional gasps of excitement.
Across from them, Alvin Morgan leaned back languidly, his gaze fixed on Aurora Sinclair.
He watched her with intense focus, as if she were the only person in the world who truly mattered.
Suddenly, he asked, "Aurora, what kind of boyfriend are you looking for?"
