My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 182 - 176: Victory and Injury
Todd Warren had no time for him. Clarity cut straight to the point, "What weakness?"
"Scrappy’s Tail injured her wrist before. She can’t maintain fast inputs for too long. If you keep forcing her to move nonstop, her hand will cramp up..."
This was a debilitating weakness, yet not a whisper of it had gotten out, which just went to show how strict the DAF Team’s security was.
Jonas Lawson had originally planned to save this secret for the playoffs. But since they had backed him into a corner, he had no reason to hold back anymore.

In the top lane, the Poison Master, Joanna, and the Mage, Scrappy’s Tail, successfully stalled West Peak’s Archer and Healer.
Joanna Monroe glanced at Faye Hughes worriedly. "Can your wrist still hold up?"
"I’m fine..." Faye Hughes gritted her teeth, her expression pained. The ligaments in her wrist felt like they were being stabbed with needles, and her fair forehead was beaded with sweat.
Their goal was to hold off the two opponents in front of them until Master Rory arrived.
Unlike their usual hit-and-run ambushes, this required a direct confrontation.
Meanwhile, after finishing off the Summoner, Master Rory quickly disengaged, looking as if he was heading to intercept West Peak’s sixth man, the Curse Master.
"Watch out! Master Rory has disengaged! Clarity, don’t get bogged down. Get to the top lane and kill Scrappy’s Tail, now!"
"Copy that!"
Less than two minutes later, the Archer beside him suddenly swore, "Fuck, Master Rory’s in the top lane! Clarity, where the hell are you? He’s on top of me..."
His words made every player on his team’s face fall. They had all thought Master Rory would be ambushing Clarity.
By the time Clarity arrived, West Peak’s Archer was already down to a third of his health from the assault by the Boxer, Master Rory.
Although their Healer was frantically healing them, he couldn’t keep up with the three DAF members relentlessly trying to burst them down.
The Archer’s health kept dropping, about to hit critical. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
DAF had the numbers advantage, but not the health advantage. Besides Master Rory, who still had over half his health, the Poison Master was critical and the Mage had only a fifth of her health left.
Lasting this long against them without a Healer was impressive enough for the fans watching.
"Hurry, their sixth man is here!" Joanna Monroe yelled, her attacks quickening.
But as West Peak’s Archer fell, Joanna’s screen went gray.
The Curse Master, Clarity, had drawn first blood.
Based on current health pools, West Peak had a clear advantage.
After killing the Archer, Master Rory covered the Mage as they retreated toward the DAF base.
Faye Hughes endured the pain and retreated quickly, but Clarity, the Curse Master, seemed to have locked onto her, constantly using ranged Skills to force her into rapid movement.
Aurora Sinclair pursed her lips, turning Master Rory around to stall him.
"Master Rory, don’t get bogged down!" Faye Hughes yelled.
Hearing this, Flynn Morgan immediately chimed in, "Master Rory, go link up with the Healer! The Berserker got away from me..."
At that moment, with the Giant tanking for him, Titus turned and sprinted toward the DAF base. His objective was clear: dive DAF’s Healer.
The battle gradually shifted toward the DAF base, every second critical.
Scrappy’s Tail saw that Master Rory was still covering her and shouted frantically, "Master Rory, forget about me! Go link up with the Healer!"
Then, she abruptly turned and rushed toward West Peak’s Healer, suicidally activating the Mage’s ultimate Skill: Magic Self-detonation.
A massive explosion rang out, and a flash of fire lit up the sky.
Scrappy’s Tail and the Healer took each other out.
Both of their screens went gray simultaneously.
Faye Hughes let out a long breath, wiped her forehead, and said with a smile, "It’s all up to you guys now."
Aurora Sinclair pursed her lips and glanced at her. Her expression hardened as she turned and sprinted back to base.
The environment and special effects in *Conquering Glory* were incredibly realistic. The fans in the audience stared at the mushroom cloud on screen, stunned into a long silence.
The teams were now at 4v3. DAF had a significant advantage, especially since they still had their Healer. Victory seemed all but guaranteed.
The Boxer was fast. He successfully linked up with his team’s Healer and, after two big heals, was quickly back to 80% health.
Just then, the Berserker, Titus, arrived. Master Rory immediately moved to engage him. Following close behind, the Divine Archer, Windwalker, suppressed the Curse Master with an Arrow Rain, taking over Master Rory’s position to guard the Healer. DAF’s collective health began to regenerate.
Clarity gritted his teeth in frustration. His defenses were no match for the Divine Archer’s, so he quickly hid behind the Giant and started casting his curses.
The audience finally got to see the clash of titans they had been waiting for.
But soon, everyone realized the Berserker was being completely dominated by Master Rory, unable to even mount a defense.
After a spinning kick, the Berserker was launched into the air. But Master Rory wasn’t done with him. He leaped up, executed an Eagle Stomp, and came crashing down on the Berserker’s stomach.
The West Peak fans’ hearts were in their throats, but on screen, Master Rory didn’t let up, continuing his relentless assault.
On the side-screen display, Master Rory’s APM value was skyrocketing.
The commentators’ voices were cracking with excitement. "Master Rory’s APM is still climbing... It’s broken 800—!"
Shaking with excitement, fans raised their phones to record the moment. During the qualifiers, Master Rory’s APM had only been between 400 and 600.
Seeing the Berserker’s health about to hit zero, the massive Giant grew desperate. Relying on its tankiness, it charged through Windwalker’s Arrow Rain.
But Windwalker intercepted it, blocking its path and engaging it in close-quarters combat using basic Body Technique Skills.
"Oh my God! Has Windwalker lost his mind?"
Clarity tried to cast a curse but was interrupted by the combined efforts of the Summoner and the Healer. At this point, DAF’s Healer had stopped healing and was going all-out on offense.
With a final, violent explosion of fire, the once-formidable Berserker fell.
"Captain—!"
Todd Warren slammed his hand on the desk and slumped back heavily in his chair.
His face was as dark as a thundercloud, his lips pressed into a thin line.
With his death, the remaining two players were quickly surrounded and annihilated by the four DAF members, their health bars wiped clean.
The word "GLORY" flashed across the screen in huge letters.
The DAF fans in the crowd erupted into thunderous cheers, tossing their fan caps into the air. The entire arena chanted, "DAF! DAF! DAF!"
Jean Quincy excitedly jumped up and down, hugging those around her. Beside her, Glenn Lockwood was so happy he could have cried.
’She hugged me on her own!’
The host had intended to have both teams say a few words on stage, but the six members of DAF hurried off as soon as the match was over.
When Gideon Lockwood saw Faye Hughes clutching her wrist in pain, the joyful look on his face vanished. He immediately strode offstage.
In DAF’s ready room, Faye Hughes winced in pain as the team medic sprayed her wrist with an anti-inflammatory. It was already swollen like a puffball.
"You can’t compete with your hand like this..."
Forgetting the pain for a moment, Faye Hughes gritted her teeth. "I can still play..."
"You have a torn ligament. You can’t use it anymore. If you want to have a career after this, you’ll rest for six months, no questions asked." The medic’s face was grim, his tone severe.
"But I..."
"Faye, listen to the doctor. You’re out for the rest of the regular season." Gideon Lockwood pushed the door open and entered, his expression serious.
Faye Hughes froze. "Manager, what about next week’s match...?"
"The team has other players. You just focus on getting better."
"But..."
"That’s final!"
Afterward, DAF held a press conference to inform their fans that the Mage, Scrappy’s Tail, would be taking time off to recover from an injury.
The news caused an uproar in the DAF fanbase, with fans flooding DAF’s official social media accounts with messages asking for details.
With Scrappy’s Tail injured and the rookie Mage lacking experience, DAF lost their home game against West Peak.
Although Master Rory fought to the very end, he was eventually overwhelmed by three opponents and fell.
Their one-to-one record against West Peak cast a shadow over the DAF Team.

The boys in the archaeology department could tell Aurora Sinclair had been in a bad mood lately. Though her expression was as placid as ever, something just felt off. They all assumed she was on her period.
So, the guys from the archaeology department all pitched in and bought her a bunch of things.
Brown sugar, red dates, stick-on heat packs, mugwort...
When Aurora Sinclair brought the bag of items to the College of Physics, Benjamin Morgan was so startled he almost filed for sick leave on her behalf.
"Aurora, are you not feeling well?"
Aurora Sinclair shook her head slightly, placed the items on the sofa, and slowly walked to her desk to eat.
Alvin Morgan glanced at Benjamin Morgan, who immediately took the hint. "Aurora, I’ve been a little anemic lately..."
Without a word, Aurora Sinclair silently handed him the bag.
Benjamin Morgan smiled, thanked her, and left the office with the bag.
On his way out, he was met with the heartbroken gazes of countless female students.
’Doctor C has a girlfriend?’
