The debris rained down as they made their way to the bottom of the mountain, Mount's feet pounding against the rugged terrain. The earth groaned beneath its feet as the white wolf escaped the stony site.

They heard the deafening howl of anger and pain that was coming from behind them.

Nyla's heart beat faster as the realization hit her. She asked in his thoughts, "Rio... Did you hear that?"

The boy let go of her as he turned around to find the source of the sound. His eyes narrowed as he glanced toward the mountain.

Rio could see a faint outline of the beast in the distance, moving toward them with a renewed sense of vengeance and hatred.

After the mountain's collapse and the [Heaven Destroyer] explosion the beast was injured but it was still not dead. Despite Creature's wounded state, the three-tail silver fox continued to run at full speed, unaware of its own condition due to its robotic nature.

"The beast is still alive and it's coming after us. We can't fight it head-on unless I recover some mana, Let's avoid it as much as we can." The boy said with an urgency in his voice.

Nyla urged her mount to run faster, pushing it as much as she could. The distance between the three-tail silver fox and the duo was getting shorter and shorter as they continued to run away.

The three-tail silver fox, its fur shimmering in the moonlight, was in hot pursuit of its enemy, who was escaping away on the back of the white wolf mount.

The duo could hear the creature's paws pounding the ground behind them, getting closer and closer.

Rio and Nyla were twisting and turning through the dense forest, trying to avoid the other teams on the island who were camping. They needed to get to the coast where they would fight the special beast and also buy some time for the boy who was recovering his mana.

As they approached the shore, Rio had only recovered forty percent of his mana.

Soon, Frosty came to a stop, turning around to face the beast as Nyla leaped off the mount, summoning her black spear beast soul.

The three-tail silver fox was relentless, its sharp claws digging into the ground as it gradually halted dozens of meters away from the duo.

Rio's eyes glanced as he looked at the three-tail silver fox in front of him, noticing the black liquid oozing from its wounds. It was clear the special beast was badly damaged and barely holding on, but it didn't seem to realize it because the creature was AI made and not real one.

The three tails flicked back and forth as the fox glared at them, its golden eyes blazing with fury.

It let out a deafening cry that echoed across the coast, making Nyla tighten her grip on her black spear, ready for whatever was to come.

"I will buy you time so you can recover some mana," The girl spoke as her eyes were glued to the target.

"Be careful, Nyla." The boy said as he was concerned for her.

He waited on the back of the mount as he needed to wait for his mana to fill up and he calculated one more similar attack might be enough to thrash the AI beast to its death.

The yellow fire summoned around her, swirling and dancing with every movement, making her look like a beautiful fairy in the dark of night.

The beast, wounded, snarled in anger as it launched itself toward her. Nyla didn't even flinch as the beast lunged at her.

Instead, she swiftly thrust her spear forward, the yellow flames crackling as they surged toward the AI beast.

The beast tried to turn its head away to dodge the flames but it was already in mid-air as the yellow fire covered its silver fur, the sharp blazing tip of the spear piercing the beast's skin, leaving another wound on its already injured body.

Nyla's peak-level black-stage stats were helpful as she was stronger than Rio and almost close to the special beast's strength.

The three-tail fox groaned in pain as it darted to the side after landing on the ground and lunged forward again toward its target with fury.

The girl had a bright smile on her face as her black spear was ready to pierce through the air for the upcoming three-tail silver fox.

The beast was slow in its movements due to its wounds, but it managed to dodge Nyla's second strike. It growled in anger and leaped towards her, claws outstretched.

The girl quickly spun around, dodging the attack with ease. She charged forward again, her spear aimed at the fox's head.

The beast tried to dodge, but Nyla's movements were too quick. The black spear's tip was connected with its target, piercing the fox's skull.

The beast howled in pain as Nyla's spear was pulled out of its head. The black liquid splattered on the ground as the fox stumbled backward, its eyes glazing over.

It was clear that the beast was now in its final moments struggling to stay on its feet.

Nyla quickly leaped back, keeping a safe distance from the wounded beast, and watched as the fox fell to the ground with a thudding sound, the yellow fire flickering around her.

The girl stood there, panting, as she watched the beast close its golden eyes to its death.

The boy vanished from the white wolf's back and appeared right beside her. He wrapped her in a warm embrace, lifting her off her feet.

Nyla wasn't prepared for the hug but a soft smile spread on her adorable face as she enjoyed his loving embrace.
