Chapter 491: Wasted (Third Shift)_1

Yang Xinyi and Tang Ning were both shocked and overjoyed, exchanging glances that communicated their excitement.

“Tang Ning, did you hear that? Ah Xiong has recovered.”

“I knew it; my cousin-in-law is the strongest man, he’d definitely never run into trouble.”

Both were simultaneously filled with newfound confidence, certain that as long as Ye Xiong was around, they would be safe.

They couldn’t count how many times they had faced danger, only for Ye Xiong to swoop in like a Heavenly Divine descending to earth, and rescue them from the brink.

Even now, faced with extreme peril, they were still brimming with hope.

Xia Qiqi had mixed feelings; on the one hand, she was happy to hear of Ye Xiong’s recovery, and on the other, she was eager to know what the “normal” Ye Xiong was like. From their tone, it seemed he was very strong, but she wondered if it was indeed true.

“What’s so great about being able to fight? I don’t believe he can find this place. I’ll have my way with you and see if he dares do anything to me,” Wang Guo gritted his teeth, took out the pill from his person, and swallowed it.

He refused to believe that as the president of Wanji Group, the one controlling Macau’s largest underworld power, he should fear an outsider.

As he waited for the drug to take effect, his phone rang again, this time from an unknown number.

“Hello, who is this?”

“Wang Guo, if you dare harm a single hair on their heads, I will ensure that Wanji Company ceases to exist in Macau.” A cold, threatening voice came through from the other end.

“Who are you?” Wang Guo didn’t recognize Ye Xiong’s voice.

“You can call me a fool.”

“So it’s you; seems like you’re back to normal,” Wang Guo spat bitterly.

“You’re out of luck.”

“Having the nerve to claim you’d wipe our Wanji Company from Macau, don’t get cocky just because you beat Hei Long, that savage. This world isn’t ruled by fists alone,” Wang Guo said resentfully.

“I’ve got some things here that might interest you quite a bit.”

On the highway, inside a speeding car.

Ye Xiong glanced at Chen Xiao’s phone, noting from the distance indicator that they could arrive in less than five minutes. The priority now was to buy time.

“Wanji Company may look legitimate on the surface, but beneath, it nurtures a bunch of criminals to form the so-called Aoyun Society, engaging in various borderline illegal activities for the company, with underground fighting rings as just one source of illicit income,” Ye Xiong continued.

“You think anyone would believe your side of the story?”

“I’ve already obtained the criminal evidence against Aoyun Society. Just hand it to the police, and you’ll have no escape.”

“You think I’d believe your Ghost stories?”

“If you don’t believe it, then let me tell you. In the past three years, the underground fighting ring has seen a total of one hundred and ten deaths and over eight hundred injuries. The list of names and statements are already in hand; they all admit that the income you’ve derived from these illegal fights exceeds three hundred million…”

Ye Xiong babbled non-stop, inventing the information from what he learned from Chen Xiao. As the distance narrowed, he had to find a way to delay any further, giving Wang Guo as little opportunity as possible to assault the three women.

Wang Guo was truly shaken by his words, indecisive for a moment.

Over the years, how many had died or been injured in the underground fights, even he didn’t know; nor had he ever calculated the profits. But Ye Xiong spoke so fluently and seriously, it made him suspect there could be a Mole amongst his ranks.

“Don’t think I’ll buy your Ghost stories. Let me tell you, no matter what, I’m going to have your women today. You dared to hit me, your women looked down on me, I’ll make all of you pay the price.”

After saying that, Wang Guo ruthlessly hung up the phone.

Over the years, there had been many who threatened him, and none had amounted to much.

His gaze settled on the three women on the floor, finally resting on Tang Ning’s youthful body.

“Don’t come over here.” Tang Ning began to feel afraid.

“Weren’t you acting all high and mighty just now? Didn’t you claim your cousin-in-law was so formidable? Call him to save you!”

Wang Guo, with a ferocious look on his face, pounced forward, grabbed Tang Ning, and threw her onto the bed next to him, preparing to strip off her clothes.

Tang Ning screamed in fear, desperately rolling her body to prevent him from pulling at her clothes.

“Damn it, clueless about death.”

Just as Wang Guo was about to viciously slap her, the door was suddenly kicked open with a bang.

Ye Xiong rushed in, his gaze falling on the three women. Seeing their clothes intact, he breathed a sigh of relief.

“Guards, protection, someone come!” Wang Guo screamed in fear.

“They can’t hear you anymore.”

Ye Xiong walked to the bed, lifted Wang Guo as if he were picking up a chick, and slammed him fiercely against the wall.

That blow nearly shattered Wang Guo’s bones.

“You like to force yourself on women so much, I’ll make you unable to touch a woman for the rest of your life.”

Ye Xiong’s face darkened, he loosened his grip on Wang Guo’s chest, and Wang Guo’s body slid down from the wall.

Then, Ye Xiong drove his knee upwards, only to hear the sound of eggs cracking. A pig-like scream erupted from Wang Guo as he collapsed on the ground.

He covered that area tightly, writhing in pain on the floor.

“Does covering it up make it hurt less?”

Ye Xiong lifted his foot and stomped down hard on Wang Guo’s hands, crushing his palms, now he couldn’t even cover it any longer.

Piercing screams of agony resounded within the room.

Suddenly, Ye Xiong turned around and kicked Wang Guo hard, knocking him unconscious.

“Too noisy, now you can shut up.”

Seeing Ye Xiong appear, the three women all breathed a sigh of relief, but then they were shocked by his brutal methods.

They had never seen such a vicious way of torturing someone.

However, to deal with a shameless man like Wang Guo, such primitive, direct, and violent methods were necessary.

Chen Xiao, Vermilion Bird, and Murong Ruyin rushed in and, seeing the three women unharmed, finally relaxed.

Ye Xiong went to the bed and used a knife to cut the ropes binding Tang Ning.

After being freed, Tang Ning almost pounced to hug him in her agitation, but with so many people around, and her cousin present, she had to forcefully restrain herself.

After releasing Tang Ning, Ye Xiong walked over to Yang Xinyi, only to see her face covered in tears, two lines of clear tears streaming down like brooks to her chin and dripping down.

“Silly wife, I’m fine now. You should be smiling, not crying,” Ye Xiong said softly, as he cut her ropes.

Once her hands were free, Yang Xinyi clung to him tightly, unwilling to let go even for a moment, burying her face in his chest, not wanting to say anything.

Besides holding onto him tightly, she didn’t know what else to say at that moment.

“I’m dirty,” Ye Xiong said urgently.

During the fight, his body had gotten stained with quite a bit of blood and was rather dirty.

But at this moment, Yang Xinyi couldn’t care less. She didn’t want to let go for even a second, as if as soon as she did, Ye Xiong would disappear again.

Xia Qiqi watched as Ye Xiong came in, dealt with Wang Guo with cruel methods, and then released Yang Xinyi from her bonds. His gaze never fell on her from beginning to end, and a sense of loss suddenly arose in her heart, as if she had lost something.

At that time, Chen Xiao came over and untied her.
