My Yandere Harem Doesn't Accept No-Chapter 30: Rumors
Lyan kept looking at Lyra, confused. Not only because she was talking to him, but because of how friendly her voice sounded.
She had to know the rumors circulating about him in the academy. So then?
"W-What do you want...?" Lyan asked, looking away and quickening his pace. If they saw them together, they would harass him even more.
Lyra let out a low laugh and sped up as well, walking beside him.
"I just saw you looking more pathetic than usual. I felt sorry for you," she said without looking at him.
Lyan clicked his tongue, annoyed. He didn’t respond and simply kept walking, focusing on the ground and getting there as soon as possible.
"All of this is your fault," she said suddenly, stopping.
Lyan stopped a few steps ahead and looked at her with annoyance and one eyebrow raised.
"What thing?"
"Everything," she said dryly. "The way you act caused this. If only you hadn’t..."
Lyra fell silent, as if searching for the words. In the end, she shook her head and looked him straight in the eyes; her gaze was cold. Almost disgusted.
Lyan grew slightly nervous.
’What the hell is wrong with this girl?’
Suddenly, Lyra’s expression changed into a kind smile. "I should get going. I got what I wanted," she said.
She walked past him without waiting for a response, throwing him one last sideways glance. Their eyes met for a second.
Then she walked away.
Lyan remained still in the same spot, confused.
’She just wanted to mess with me too...’ he thought in frustration.
He remembered the time she had smiled at him and how he, like an idiot, had thought about it all day.
Then he remembered her last words: "I got what I wanted."
His eyes widened and he looked around. Several students who used those streets to get to the academy were watching him, whispering bad things among themselves. Lyan could already imagine exactly what.
’Shit.’
He walked quickly toward the academy entrance, looking only at the ground.
Being seen talking to one of the most popular girls was a problem.
Even though she had spoken to him first, others would only see that the guy from the rumors had bothered Lyra...
The only thing he could do was pray they wouldn’t beat him too badly during breaks or after school.

Later, Lyan was in the men’s bathroom, after asking the teacher for permission, who looked at him annoyed but gave it reluctantly.
Lyan washed his hands with his gaze lost in them.
At that moment, the door burst open, and Lucas walked in.
Lyan swallowed nervously, glancing through the mirror in front of him.
Lucas stood beside him and turned on the faucet, rinsing his hands without saying anything.
Which made Lyan tense up even more. Would he hit him now?
He looked at his own reflection in the mirror. When Lucas turned to leave, he raised his hand toward him.
’Here it comes...’ he thought, bracing for the hit.
But... Lucas just placed his hand on his shoulder, looking at him with a neutral expression. "The haircut suits you," he said, then left without saying anything else.
Lyan stood frozen, in shock. He didn’t know what to think. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Lucas left the bathroom with an irritated expression. He walked in silence toward a specific part of the academy.
When he reached the storage room, he opened the door and closed it behind him.
"You’re late," a voice said.
Lucas’s body tensed slightly. "I was busy..." he muttered, without his usual confident tone.
He turned and walked toward the center of the room, where there was only a single light bulb on.
Sitting on some boxes was Lyra, with her legs crossed, her elbow on her knee, and her face resting on the palm of her hand, smiling playfully.
Both remained silent for a moment.
"How’s it going with what I asked you?" she asked.
"Good... I’m harassing him and beating him three times a day, just like you said," Lucas replied immediately.
"Good."
Lyra raised her phone and showed its screen with a paused video.
Lucas clenched his fists and jaw. "Until when?" he asked.
"Huh? Until when...?" Lyra repeated mockingly.
"Until when do I have to keep harassing and spreading those rumors about Lyan?"
Lyra’s smile grew wider and colder. She narrowed her eyes.
"Until I get bored. Now leave."
Lucas didn’t wait a second and quickly turned around, leaving the place.
When he was gone, Lyra got down from the boxes, walking a few steps before stopping. She turned on her phone, and both the lock screen and home screen were photos of Lyan, taken in secret.
"Soon... soon all of this will end, my Lyan..."

Lyan had returned to the classroom, looking out the window with a bored expression on his face.
He had stopped paying attention in class a long time ago. When he took it seriously and believed he had passed the exams, he always ended up with a much lower grade than he should have.
He didn’t see the point in getting angry about it, so he just attended to get some fresh air, ignoring the fact that he could do that anywhere.
He tapped his fingers softly against the desk, thinking about the game. He wanted to go home and play it, but he had already spent too much time inside it.
He needed to set limits.
’I should go to that gym...’ he thought, remembering the post about a gym near where he lived.
Perfect to stay away from his harassers.
