Myriad Devils-Chapter 272: Banner of Void Spirits
Without giving the Master of Ancient Black Star a chance to respond to his words, Elshen’s Region Dominating Blade cleaved with indomitable might.
The insights he had into the Bladed pathway could not be achieved by those with weaker than Level Three Willpower.
What he displayed was the final form of a Basic Supreme Armament, which touched upon the power of the Entry-Level of Dimension Lords...
This was absolutely at the pinnacle level amongst Realm Fathers!
For a time, the entire world was blanketed by an endlessly unfurling light.
This light was comparable, if not greater than, the very descent of the sun star into the world of mortals!
As if the brightest light appeared in the world!
This was the theoretical peak of a realm father’s insights into a weaponry pathway. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
Any further would only be possible with a Level Four Willpower, which needed an abstract soul...
More than likely, there were Dimension Lords stuck at this level of insight as well.
In a battle of realm fathers...
When the light settled, a valley as deep as an abyss to hell, seemingly stretching to the ends of the world, was left in its wake.
The body of the Master of Ancient Black Star was utterly obliterated.
Elshen glanced toward a particular direction.
The Master of Ancient Black Star, in the instance of his bodily destruction, began fleeing with his tail tucked between his legs... metaphorically speaking.
His soul desperately sought to reassemble his body through stellar cosmic energy...
"To be able to survive that," Elshen chuckled faintly, his voice shaking the entirety of Fellspire Mountains, "You can keep your life today."
In truth, he had not utilized the secrets of any principles, and only the mysteries of the Bladed pathway.
When attacking, Anon was never someone who sought to restrain himself.
Now, if Elshen had unleashed the principle of Fire as well, the entirety of the Fellspire Mountains would have suffered.
There was the yet-to-be-born cosmic treasure that he sought, so he had reluctantly restrained himself.
For the Master of Ancient Black Star to survive, it could be considered earned.
On the other hand, the Slaughter Hound, upon seeing the state of its master, quickly attempted to escape...
"Where do you think you’re going?" Elshen cackled madly.
.....
After chasing the Master of Ancient Black Star out of Fellspire Mountain and exterminating the Slaughter Hound because he, Elshen, disliked such a vile existence, the duo of Ancestor Green and Elshen waited for three days and three nights at Fellspire Mountain.
The four cosmos forgers who had been retrieved into Ancestor Green’s heart realm, along with his Cosmic Vessel, returned to the outer world, more shocked at being alive than anything else.
Even though they were within Ancestor Green’s inner realm, their perceptions could unfurl into the outer world.
From the moment the Slaughter Hound had injured Ancestor Green, they had begun accepting their inevitable deaths.
The experiences that followed with Elshen’s appearance felt like an unbelievable dream.
On the fourth night after the battle, the naturally formed abyss in Fellspire Mountain spat out a newborn cosmic treasure, signaling to the group that their time to leave had arrived.
As for why Ancestor Green and the others had remained for so long.
It just so happened that they were heading to the Ancient City of Sun Jade. This was a city famous across the entire 9th Heaven...
In the Ancient City of Sun Jade, Ancestor Green had a fairly decent status.
It was a pity that this status could not keep him alive outside of the city, but Elshen had appeared, did he not?
So he wished to thank Elshen, his benefactor.
He hadn’t intended to visit the Ancient City of Sun Jade, but now he could not refuse Ancestor Green’s kind intentions, so he would reluctantly oblige.
In this way, Ancestor Green effectively acquired a safety net that protected him until he arrived in the Ancient City of Sun Jade, and well...
Anon, no.
Elshen was also pleased.
.....
Within Ancestor Green’s Cosmic Vessel, Elshen had retreated into secluded meditation for several weeks.
Comparatively speaking, Ancestor Green’s vessel was more than slightly inferior to what Elshen was in possession of.
Although it was initially their gift, after destroying his cosmic vessel, the Elven race naturally apologized through the Elven Envoy and returned a cosmic vessel of equal value.
If that cosmic vessel was capable of traversing thousands of times the speed of light, then Ancestor Green could only traverse fifty times the speed of light within the Stellar Threading Pathway.
Naturally, within the 9th Heaven, with cosmic providence so saturated, protecting the world, both speeds would be significantly reduced; however, Elshen’s vessel would naturally be among the fastest in this world.
Within a silent void doused by a milky hue, Elshen retrieved the newborn cosmic treasure from his inner world.
Thrum!
Its appearance instantly caused the world to hum violently, and a foreboding darkness swept over all things in creation!
Frightening murmurs drowned the entire milky void within the cosmic vessel, and despairing screams assaulted Elshen’s soul.
However, he had grown accustomed long ago.
"This Banner of Void Spirits contains the mysteries of both the principles of Death and Curses. This can be considered my fortuitous opportunity." He smiled.
Though the Banner of Void Spirits was only a Top-Tier cosmic treasure, it was still enough to assist him all the way to 29% enlightenment of both principles.
More than that, his principle of Death was already a hair’s breadth away from 20%.
Naturally, Elshen manipulated the principle of Fire; however, Elshen had been secluded for several cosmic cycles in the 23rd Heaven’s Cloud Sea World.
Upon exiting seclusion due to the mysterious assassination attempt, who knew what transformations had taken place with the Realm Father, Elshen...
Anyway, this was just one possibility.
He didn’t necessarily need to reveal that either, nor did he need to actively comprehend the mysteries of Death and Curses in this form he had assumed.
’Giving this to my dream form would make things more than ideal,’ Elshen mused inwardly, ’It might be too much for people if I’ve comprehended more than three principles beyond 10% as a Realm Father.’
’And even then, three might be a stretch.’
Elshen sighed.
’I should not raise any suspicions before I retrieve that thing.’
The Ancient City of Sun Jade was home to billions of cosmos forgers and many, many realm fathers; however, realm fathers wielding the power Elshen had shown until now did not number more than two handfuls.
This was a city that would soon give birth to something unique.
Many of the most powerful, capable of Fate reading, were awaiting its appearance and plotting their own ways to acquire it.
Elshen’s appearance would certainly attract a gaze or two, so the less suspicious his realm father identity appeared, the better.
A realm father who had enlightened more than 10% of eight principles...
Though it was actually the case, the Dimension Lords would be quicker to believe that he was a fellow Dimension Lord.
’They would think along the lines of inherent traits, and would not wish to risk whether I can bypass the cosmic rule, and enter the Realm Heaven as a Dimension Lord.’
’Although I am but a Realm Father, the Dimension Lords would not allow the possibility of a Dimension Lord to enter the Realm Heaven and ruin their game.’
Essentially, the moment he revealed the number of principles he had enlightened beyond 10%, no one would actually believe he was a Realm Father, even if his cultivation said otherwise...
