Myriad Devils-Chapter 303: Realm Father Elshen!?
The imagery of a godly kingdom painted over the skies, and for a short time, it washed away the darkness that plagued the region.
The imagery of the shadowy hand instantly began flickering under the divine brilliance.
Thousands upon thousands of beams of sun fire raced across the skies, ripping apart the darkness, along with the shadowy hand that threatened to terminate the two lesser existences.
Maarsha was instantly tongue-tied by the scenes, whilst Ah Ri had long fallen unconscious due to the pressure on her soul.
Whilst still confronting Desire Dripping Dimension Lord, an avatar of Protector Relief soon manifested near the Fourth princess.
He stood tentatively, gazing solemnly toward the direction of the jade sun.
Everything had occurred too fast.
Even in this moment, he was confronting Desire Devouring and struggling to escape her power, much less intervene in the previous attack that threatened to kill the princess.
At the same time, an indistinguishable silhouette slowly appeared in the duo’s field of vision.
Neither of them attempted to create any distance between themself and this figure. Not only did this person save their life, but they were clearly very powerful as well.
The jade sun spilling light over the image of this figure painted a stunning scene. Stepping out of the light, Elshen carried a faint smile on his lips.
"It seems you need a hand in dealing with that Dimension Lord." His gaze landed on Protector Relief.
The latter frowned deeply but nodded his head.
It only took one glance for Protector Relief to see through Elshen’s cultivation, which was only at the Realm Father stage.
More than that...
"Realm Father Elshen!?" Maarsha exclaimed, her pupils shrinking to the size of pins.
Just as he was about to turn his back on them and make his way toward the battle taking place thousands of miles away, her exclamation caused Elshen to spin his head of red hair around...
"Oh, it seems that my fame has spread far and wide, hehe." His smile was strange, and his eyes shone with a faint golden luster.
It was stunning.
The girl before him held another in her embrace.
She was protected by a Dimension Lord who was currently battling for his life to protect her.
To make a Dimension Lord existence act like this...?
Most importantly, her destiny was obscured by a great power. Clearly, she had a most significant identity.
And yet, when she stared at him, there was great reverence and awe in such a gaze.
The cold mask she adorned could not obstruct his deciphering gaze.
He couldn’t help but chuckle out loud, causing the frown on Protector Relief’s face to darken.
For whatever reason, he sensed nothing good from this Elven legend.
Ahem...!!
He grabbed Elshen’s attention with a light cough and said, "Desire Devouring formed her dimension with the assistance of a Will-Dominating cosmic treasure. Her illusions are particularly frightening. The strength I can display is less than thirty percent..."
Hurry and assist me!
These were the true meanings behind his words.
"No need to fret." Elshen casually thought of a reply, wasting more time, "After dealing with the combined efforts of Enlightened Yellow Dust and Mystic Profundity Matriarch, the remnant effects of their attacks have strengthened my willpower over the last seventy years in my retreat."
Protector Relief’s expressions turned black, not particularly from Elshen’s words, but from his refusal to enter the battle.
In a battle between Dimension Lords, many things could take place in a single moment.
Especially with him already on the back foot right now, he was really struggling.
’Hey now, if I didn’t appear, what would you be doing?’ Elshen inwardly shook his head, but he didn’t bother wasting any more time.
Turning his back on the Fourth princess, he made a single stride toward the battle thousands of miles away.
Protector Relief sighed in relief and turned to Maarsha, hurriedly saying, "Lady Maarsha, return to the cosmic vessel and enter the ancient cloud pathway."
"No one can forcefully enter the pathway, so even if Desire Devouring wishes, she’ll never be able to harm you."
Maarsha knitted her brows upon hearing Protector Relief’s words.
She remained silent, seemingly deep in thought; however, her gaze was filled with longing, and she looked toward the direction Realm Father Elshen had gone.
Truthfully, which Realm Father of high status across the many Heavens did not watch the recording that detailed the battle between Elshen and the five Dimension Lords?
It was a short battle.
He had only moved once, but when he moved, a Dimension Lord had fallen to his blade!
Indeed, it was not so easy to slay an abstract soul...
Yet, if not for the Lord of Black & White, Savage Blood Emperor would’ve remained dead.
Nothing could rewrite the fact that Realm Father Elshen had slain a Dimension Lord.
Protector Relief’s avatar did not need to see through Maarsha’s soul to see straight through her thoughtful visage, and his expressions darkened greatly.
"That Elshen is a dangerous person, Lady Maarsha. Please don’t begin fathoming any useless thoughts." He warned her.
However, Maarsha didn’t appear to heed his warnings.
She squinted her eyes and instead rebuked, "Protector Relief, why would you say that? Desire Devouring’s hand almost extinguished my life a few moments ago."
"Wasn’t it he who saved me?!"
Her words made sense; they were logical, but he did not find them rational.
Protector Relief’s avatar looked deeply into her eyes, seemingly attempting to see through her very thoughts; however, this was merely an avatar of his, formed from a wisp of his thoughts.
It could not even form near her when space was dominated by the power of the Desire Devouring Dimension Lord, so it could not easily see through the unfathomable soul with a Level Three Willpower.
"So what are you going to do? Remain here and risk death? Might I add that the remnant energies from our battle are enough to harm you..." Protector Relief’s avatar spoke coldly.
The Fourth princess looked into the distance.
The gaze of a Realm Father with a Level Three Willpower could easily cross thousands of miles.
Even from this distance, she could see snippets of the battle taking place over a hundred thousand miles away.
At least, her gaze caught the jade-colored sun fire that began lighting up the skies.
Her lips tugged upwards.
Seemingly in a trance, her cold mask slipped for a moment, and she said in a daze, "No, no, I don’t think he’ll allow me to be harmed."
