Myth Beyond Heaven-Chapter 2661: Harbinger (1)
Chapter 2661: Harbinger (1)
Yun Lintian, having escaped from Yang Xie's domain, found himself once again adrift in the vast expanse of the Abyssal Rift. He paused for a moment, turning back to search for any trace of Yang Xie, but the Grand Protector was nowhere to be found.
"Escaped?" Yun Lintian muttered, his eyes scanning the chaotic landscape. He couldn't sense Yang Xie's presence anymore, as if the man had vanished into thin air.

Yun Lintian didn't dwell on it for long. He had more pressing matters to attend to. He had to find Ren Yuan, had to stop him from unleashing the Chasm of Uncreation, had to prevent the destruction of the Primal Chaos.
He set off, his figure a solitary beacon of light in the endless darkness of the Abyssal Rift. He flew through the chaotic energy, his senses heightened, his awareness reaching its peak. He was searching for any sign of Ren Yuan, any clue that could lead him to his long-standing enemy.
The Abyssal Rift was a vast and treacherous realm, its landscape a chaotic jumble of distorted space, swirling energy, and hidden dangers. But for Yun Lintian, it was nothing.
"Hmm?" Suddenly, Yun Lintian sensed a familiar aura.
At the end of the horizon, a humongous shadow gradually emerged. It was none other than the World Eater.
"Senior!" Yun Lintian called out in surprise. He didn't expect to meet the World Eater here. As far as he knew, this area was quite deep, which was out of the World Eater's usual operating
area.
The World Eater turned its colossal head towards Yun Lintian, its eyes glowing with an eerie light.
"Yun Lintian," it boomed, its voice echoing through the void, "we meet again."
Yun Lintian approached the World Eater, his expression a mixture of curiosity and respect.
"Senior," he said, bowing slightly, "I didn't expect to encounter you here. What brings you so deep into the Abyssal Rift?"
The World Eater chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that shook the very fabric of reality. "I sensed a disturbance in the chaotic energy," it replied, its voice filled with an ancient wisdom. "A presence that should not be here."
"A presence that should not be here?" Yun Lintian repeated curiously.
"This person seems to be an inheritor of the God of Heaven," The Word Eater responded. "He is here, somewhere within this chaotic realm. And he is planning something... something that could disrupt the balance of the Abyssal Rift, perhaps even threaten the very existence of the entire universe."
"His name is Ren Yuan. He plans to release the Chasm of Uncreation," Yun Lintian quickly said. "I came here to find him."
The World Eater's eye glowed with a hint of approval. "You have grown stronger, Yun Lintian. Your aura is more profound, your mastery of the laws more refined. You have clearly been diligently cultivating."
"I have been fortunate enough to integrate the legacies of four Primordial Gods," Yun Lintian explained. "The Sun God, the Mountain God, the River God, and the God of Darkness."
"Four?" The World Eater was surprised slightly. "It's faster than I thought."
It paused for a moment, its gaze fixed on Yun Lintian. "But do not become complacent. The path of cultivation is long and arduous. There will always be those who are stronger, more powerful, more cunning. Do not allow your recent successes to blind you to the dangers that still lie ahead."
Yun Lintian nodded, acknowledging the World Eater's words.
"I understand, Senior," he said, his voice filled with respect. "I will not become complacent. I will continue to improve my strength."
The World Eater's eye glowed with approval. "That is good to hear," it said. "But tell me, Yun Lintian, why have you come here alone? Do you truly believe that you can defeat Ren Yuan and the Lord of Chaos by yourself?"
Yun Lintian smiled with a hint of embarrassment. "To tell you the truth, Senior, I am truly confident in my current strength. I want to challenge my limit and hone my skills more by coming here alone. After all, none of my peers can be my opponent. I need a stronger opponent."
The World Eater took a deep look at Yun Lintian and said, "It's a good mentality, but you have underestimated your enemy too much. Do you know that Nian Shi can easily defeat you without even lifting a finger, especially when you don't have the protection of your guardian here?"
Yun Lintian didn't know how to answer; after all, he had never met the Lord of Chaos, and it was difficult for him to imagine his strength.
"I know my mistake, Senior. Thank you for reminding me," Yun Lintian said with a serious expression.
"It's good that you know it," The World Eater spoke gently. "However, there's nothing wrong with your approach in finding a stronger opponent. There are plenty of Chaos Knights here. You can gain experience from them. They should be tough enough for your sword."
"It's on my list," Yun Lintian nodded slightly. "Can you find Ren Yuan's location, Senior?" "Unfortunately, no," the World Eater said gently. "However, I can sense his trace. Follow
me."
As it finished its sentence, the World Eater turned around and flew south. Its humongous body cut through space, creating ripples like a giant ship sailing through the ocean.
Yun Lintian quickly followed.

Deep within the heart of the Abyssal Rift, hidden within a secluded pocket space, Ren Yuan sat cross-legged, his body enveloped in a swirling vortex of chaotic energy. The space around him was a dimly lit cavern, its walls lined with countless Chaos Crystals, their surfaces pulsing with an eerie light.
Ren Yuan's eyes were closed, his expression serene as he absorbed the chaotic energy from the crystals, refining it, integrating it into his own cultivation base. His aura was profound, his power immense, his presence radiating an oppressive weight that seemed to distort the very fabric of reality.
He had been cultivating tirelessly, honing his skills, preparing for the day when he would unleash the Chasm of Uncreation, the day when he would reshape the world in his own image.
He had come a long way, had overcome countless obstacles, had endured unimaginable hardships. But he was close now, closer than ever before, to achieving his ultimate goal.
He was Ren Yuan, the Inheritor of the God of Heaven, the one who would bring about the end
of the old world, the one who would usher in a new era of chaos.
He was the harbinger of destruction, the architect of a new world order!
