Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 150 - One Hundred And Fifty: Suspecting Marilyn.
"Everything is set, boss." Cain said after cocking his gun and putting it back at the gun holster, before taking up his phone to see if any messages regarding the formation of his men were stationed exactly where they were asked to be.
He looked at Alex who had an unreadable expression on his face, no one could tell what was running through his mind, but Cain knew that things wouldn’t end today without either him or Jason’s blood spills.
He watched the way he held onto his silver crested gun, Jason’s son died at his gun and today he’s eventually going to end him for good.
Alex got rid of the cigarettes in his mouth, before he turned forward to see that Cain had nothing to fear about. If anything the cocaine he took before embarking on this journey made him clear headed, he knew that he only has one mission if things go south for them.
That is to make sure that Jason doesn’t get out of this place alive, he looked outside of his car towards the deserted factory where Jason has suggested to meet since after embarrassing him on the phone, and calling him to bring Marilyn safely back to him.
At first he was surprised to see him calling him, but their friendship ended when he took Marilyn away from him. They stopped keeping in contact with each other, since there’s no point trying to act cool with each other while all he wanted was to take his woman back to him.
But at this moment where the stupid man thinks that he’s keeping Marilyn captive, he had other plans after hearing this news. Although, it didn’t make any sense that Marilyn would run away from home, while she proved to him that she was madly in love with Jason.
He touched his head and felt a migraine pulling up at this moment, all he needed was rest. To go back to his house and prepare his plans on meeting Nelson after so many years.
But here he was, with him kissing his gun lastly before he signaled Cain, who stepped out fearlessly and opened the door for him while his eyes scanned the area.
Jason’s men breached the entrance where they were to pass, but according to the motherfucker who had told him that this was going to be a peaceful meeting, had other plans seeing as he had his men securing the place heavily armed.
But that didn’t scare him nor his boss, who smirked at seeing Jason’s handwork. The motherfucker doesn’t have any idea that his men were all over this place, he may have his men standing guard here, but he had bribed his way into his security to gain a few men of his on his side.
He doesn’t know that, because it still didn’t occur to him about how easily Adrian had almost successfully taken his daughter, had it not been for that man, that ex navy seal officer who proved to be quite agile amongst his other men.
It would surely be hard trying to convince him to change alliances, but money solves all problems. He would definitely come around soon.
With that being said, Alex approached the entrance with Cain at his side only to be stopped by the head guard, who insisted on searching them.
"Do you have a death wish?" Alex roared, as Cain raised his gun up instantly and positioned it directly at the motherfucker’s temple, and that made his other men there to do the same to him and Alex.
Alex didn’t look fazed, if anything his overconfidence shocked everyone considering the fact that their boss was just looking for a silly excuse to end him after he told him where exactly he had kept the boss lady.
After a few bantering that ended with Jason’s men moving aside for him to enter inside, Alex did well to capture the face of the idiot that stopped him because he’s going to wish that he never did see him talk more to insult him.
He grinned mischievously when he saw Jason’s fouled mood the moment they entered the empty hall where he was, with few of his men standing guard besides him.
"I must admit Jason, your security men has a death wish for pulling a gun to my face." He chuckled before stopping in front of him. " Now, you look pathetic." He teased him, only for Jason to grab at his collar instantly.
"Where is she?" Jason yelled, making Aled to grimace at his attitude before tugging his hands off from his clothes.
"I see you have gone crazy from the loss of your son, what makes you think i would think of hurting Marilyn?" He asked him, trying to read Jason’s body language the more to know if truly he was saying the truth about Marilyn.
Who knows he might have used her as an excuse to lure him out here, just so he could take out his revenge on him for what he did to his daughter.
But watching Jason look so shattered made him know that this was no joke, and Marilyn indeed is truly missing.
"You tried to hurt her daughter, so why won’t you do that to her too!" Jason made a point, to which if he was in his shoes he would think the same, but Vanessa is Vanessa and Marilyn is Marilyn. He can never hurt her.
"Well, I’m not lying. If this is some plan to hurt me for what i did to your daughter, then you made a big mistake, Jason. My men had planted explosives around the entire building, so if i am going down, then you are coming with me, brother." Alex grinned, only to receive a punch to his face that made everyone bring out their gun and pointed it at each other.
"You bastard!" Alex growled, while looking at Jason who was breathing hard at him, while his men were waiting for the order to blow his brains out but he should know that he isn’t lying, when he told him about the explosives.
He wanted to say something, but they heard a swift incoming sound from their left, as both men turned instantly to where the sound was coming from, only to stare at Sergei Monroe’s do-not-mess-with-me- hardened look, before his cold voice graced the audience.
"i would prefer you both don’t kill yourself, and rather put that energy into finding out which one of you, knows if Marilyn has been cheating with a man named Lucifer."
