An exhausted sigh left Oregon’s lips after The royal specialist and the few members from the Grand Alliance left his palace. It is exhausting having to do Lucifer’s will, and ignoring the rest his body needs since after the meetup with Adrik.

He couldn’t help to not do as Lucifer as ordered, since the Seer has also connected the prophecy towards him, the last thing he would do was to involve himself in this war that was arising between Lucifer, and the Overruler of crystal palace, heaven.

He wanted to be on standby, since it was very obvious that no one knew who the war would favor. But Lucifer being the arrogant, and prideful creature he was wouldn’t do the needful, by apologizing and settling his score with the Over ruler.

Afterall, It was his mistake in the first that the heavens are at war with the underworld, it as well placed him in a tight corner because for the past few years. His ruling was threatened because he was helping Lucifer fulfill the prophecy in the life of his son.

If only Adrik knew that they were only trying to save him from the heartbreak, that would soon befall him if he chose to go further with his engagement with Narika.

It wasn’t just Lucifer that was after her, the angels of crystal palace were also after the young lady to end her life. She’s a very big liability to heaven, and if somehow she ends up getting marked and mates with Adrik, giving birth to the antichrist then the war wouldn’t be an easy one to end.

So, the end to all of this was to stop the both of them from meeting each other. But the mistake was made by Lucifer, who had tampled with the life of the girl’s family; it only resulted in bringing Narika to Adrik’s doorstep.

If he hadn’t killed Polina, then there’s no way he would have taken interest in Narika, and it was because of Adrik’s presence that altered her power to act out drawing attention to herself.

Now, it is obvious to not just Oregon and to the Grand Alliance, that the only way to stop the heavens from going to war with the underworld, was to kill the child of the first witch.

Narika has to die!

But the biggest question right now, with the way Adrik has suddenly had feelings for her in this short period they both had, was how they can stop both father and son from protecting the girl.

Lucifer would be the last person to allow any harm to come to Narika, that was why he had ordered him to allow Adrik to get married to her. So, she could be protected by every demon that exists in hell.

She’s their salvation.

Their queen, so how exactly would any harm come close to get when their crown prince was at her side, and she had the whole army of hell at attention, protecting her from any harm that would be coming from the crystal palace.

If Lucifer has any idea that he had somehow planned with the Grand Alliance, and told his son to leave Narika alone. Then he wouldn’t just hurt Sakura. He would wipe the entire circle in a blink of an eye. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

So, he prayed that the rumors of what he had done wouldn’t get out. Likewise, would Adrik tell his father about what he had done too. But he doubts that both of them are on talking terms yet.

Knowing Adrik, he would put up a fight with his father if it turns out that meeting Narika was nothing but fate, and it has been proclaimed a long time ago that he would meet her.

So, Polina was nothing but a distraction all along. It’s disheartening that all his life has been a lie, but it was not in his power to interfere with the family affairs.

He stood up, trying to get ready for bed but his door got ousted open and a crying Sakura walked in.

"Please tell me it’s not true " she asked, approaching her uncle who’s brows shot up in confusion.

But when he saw her tears, he got really worried and moved closer to her, and took her hand into his own. " What’s wrong with you, Sakura?"

She knocked her hand off his, before looking at him with angry eyes." Is Adrik Lucifer’s son?" She asked him.

Oregon sighed, before turning to leave her nagging ass but she moved over to stand in front of him." Is it true?"

"Well now you know who he is, and why i specifically told you that you can’t like him. So, stop being a brat and go back to your room." He said coldly to her, turning to leave for his room.

"All my life i have dedicated my life to serving the council, and yet this one request i want. You can’t use your connection and give me what i want." Sakura said, crying.

"Sakura, you will be fine once he’s gone to hell. He’s nothing but a distraction to you here, and the last thing you would want is to let Lucifer hear that you are a distraction to his son." Oregon told her, he pulled his blazer off him hoping that Sakura was going to leave his room.

"Well, I want to see him. I want to talk to Lucifer." She said, making Oregon wonder if she has not gone crazy. Because for the love of God, he’s sure that someone has messed with Sakura’s mental health.

"Get out." Oregon ordered her, he moved towards her dragging her by her arms, and walking towards his door. "You are forbidden from leaving your room from now on. You are suspended from work, you know the consequences of going against my words."

He spat viciously, but halfway to pushing Sakura out. She yelled out the words that would change her life for the worse for the rest of her life.

"I’m pregnant. It’s Adrik’s baby!"
