Naruto drinking makes me stronger-Chapter 30: The Slaughter Begins And Hizurens Nightmare
Chapter 30 - The Slaughter Begins And Hizurens Nightmare
Inuzuka clutched his face, pressing the little red flower stickers tightly against his skin. His breath came in ragged gasps, and his eyes darted around in sheer paranoia.
"This little red flower is my life!" he muttered under his breath, as if repeating it could ward off the death that had nearly claimed him.
Hyuga Haruki and their other teammate exchanged exhausted glances before collapsing onto the ground. Their limbs refused to move, their bodies too drained from the sheer terror of the encounter.
They had just survived an execution.
Looking at each other's faces, they suddenly found the stickers on their foreheads—once humiliating—now strangely beautiful.
In Konoha's observation room, an eerie silence had settled over the gathered shinobi.
No one spoke. No one moved.
All eyes were locked on the screen displaying the aftermath of Youyu's rampage. The land itself had been carved apart. A gash in the earth stretched for kilometers, as if a giant had slashed through the forest with a single stroke.
The leader of the Hidden Rain shinobi pointed at the screen, his hand trembling. "That... That slash... How...?" His voice cracked as he struggled to form words.

He had seen powerful kenjutsu before.
He had survived an encounter with Konoha's White Fang.
But this—this was beyond that. This was destruction on a level that should not be possible.
Across the room, the Hidden Mist's representative, a hulking man known as the Pufferfish Demon, had gone pale. His jaw hung open, his sharp teeth bared in a stunned expression that would have been comical under any other circumstances.
"A-an S-rank forbidden technique?" he muttered. "No... no, even that wouldn't—this isn't normal."
The Cloud Village jounin standing beside him looked no better. His face had lost all color, his hands clenched into trembling fists.
The three elites from their village—warriors trained in Lightning Release, swift and powerful—had been reduced to nothing in seconds.
"This kind of power... this level of devastation..."
Jiraiya exhaled slowly, shaking his head in disbelief. His usual laid-back demeanor was gone, replaced with something unnerving.
A single child had done this.
No—not a child. A monster.
Even the legendary White Fang, one of Konoha's most feared swordsmen, had never displayed such a raw, wide-scale attack. White Fang was a precision killer, but Youyu...
Youyu erased his enemies.
And then, a horrifying realization struck them.
"Wait," the leader of Grass Village suddenly gasped. "What did he just say?"
Everyone turned back to the screen.
Youyu's eyes were still glowing with bloodlust, his sword dripping with energy as he muttered under his breath:
"I'm going to cut them all down."
The meaning was crystal clear.
He wasn't done.
He wasn't satisfied.
The massacre had only just begun.
The room exploded into chaos.
Sarutobi Hiruzen sat in his office, arms crossed as he drifted in and out of sleep.
The stress of his duties had worn him down. Paperwork, political decisions, training schedules—it all weighed heavily on him.
"Just a few minutes," he murmured, rubbing his temples.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sudden, frantic pounding on his door jolted him upright.
"Who dares?!" he barked, pushing himself up, his grogginess replaced with irritation.
The door practically flew off its hinges as a breathless shinobi stumbled inside. The man's forehead glistened with sweat, his chest heaving as he tried to form words.
"Hokage-sama!" he gasped, his voice cracking.
Hiruzen's irritation faded. Something was wrong.
"What happened?" he demanded.
The shinobi took a gulp of air, visibly shaking. "It's the Chunin Exams... Youyu—"
Hiruzen's frown disappeared, replaced with an expectant smile. "Ah, did he perform well?"
The old Hokage chuckled, shaking his head. "Of course he did. He's an extraordinary talent. I knew he would shine in the exams!"
He reached for his pipe, fully expecting to sit back and enjoy the report of Youyu's triumphs.
Instead, the shinobi's face twisted in something close to horror.
"No, Hokage-sama—Youyu's about to kill everyone from the other villages!"
The pipe slipped from Hiruzen's fingers and clattered onto the floor.
For a long moment, the Third Hokage simply stared at the man before him.
The silence stretched.
And then, Hiruzen moved.
Back in the observation room, the entire delegation of foreign shinobi was in a state of panic.
"This isn't an exam anymore—this is slaughter!"
"What the hell is wrong with Konoha?! You let a shadow-level monster participate?!"
"Stop him! STOP HIM NOW!"
The Hidden Cloud representative was livid, veins bulging as he shouted directly in Hiruzen's face. Normally, the other villages wouldn't dare speak to the Third Hokage with such disrespect, but under the circumstances...
Hiruzen could hardly blame them.
He had walked into a nightmare.
On the screen, Youyu was already on the move, a storm of bloodlust surrounding him.
He wasn't hunting for survival.
He wasn't even hunting for victory.
He was hunting because someone—some idiot—had made him go without alcohol.
If he wasn't going to drink, then nobody was leaving this forest alive.
Hiruzen felt his stomach drop.
"You damned fools," he muttered under his breath.
There was only one person in the entire village who might be able to calm Youyu down now.
And he was already halfway through a bottle at Konoha's best bar.
