As soon as the two of them came over, Tenten got dragged off to the side by Megumi, Yakumo, Hinata, Sakura, Ino, and Fū.

They were all basically the same age, after all—so of course they were curious about pregnancy.

And as they stared at Tenten's still-flat stomach, every single one of them looked a little envious. Who would've thought Tenten wouldn't just be the first to get married—she'd be the first to become a mom, too.

Natsuki, meanwhile, got surrounded by the guys.

And yeah—guys was the right word. Every one of them was a lonely single dog. Even Tomoya, who wasn't single anymore, still hadn't gotten to that stage.

Even Neji couldn't help copying Gai-sensei and giving a thumbs-up. "Natsuki, you're seriously incredible—getting married and becoming a dad on the same day. None of us can compete with you."

Shikamaru shot him a look. "Isn't that normal? Natsuki chased Tenten when he was six. They've been together forever, and they've already been living together. If they weren't underage, they wouldn't have waited until now to get married."

That had everyone nodding in full agreement.

I mean, if you'd locked in your future spouse at six years old, getting married early was completely normal.

Naruto, however, stared at Shikamaru. "Shikamaru, that's easy for you to say. I saw you on a date with Temari yesterday. Wanna explain yourself?"

Everyone immediately turned to stare at Shikamaru, and under that pressure his face turned bright red.

Temari was sitting at another table, but with Naruto's big mouth, she'd obviously heard everything already. Her face went red through and through too—she couldn't even lift her head under all those looks.

Kankurō spoke up for his sister. "Isn't that normal? You reach that age, you meet someone you like… of course you get together."

Right, right—totally normal!

They were just shy, that was all. That kind of youthful, awkward sweetness was honestly pretty great.

But this group loved to stir trouble. Before long, they pushed Temari into the seat next to Shikamaru. Kankurō, worried his sister might get bullied, hurried over and sat down too.

Even Gaara—who'd originally been seated at the Kage table—got chased over, with the excuse that "kids should come play over here."

The whole group got loud and lively, the sugary atmosphere so thick it practically stuck to your face.

But no one noticed that Sasuke had been sitting quietly the whole time, looking at Natsuki for a moment, then looking at Tenten, as if lost in thought.

One dog did notice.

Pakkun was leading the eight ninja hounds in devouring premium dog food, and when he looked up, he caught the contemplative look on Sasuke's face.

"Seeing Natsuki get married and have a kid… and thinking about the heavy responsibility of restoring his clan, huh? So young, and he's already under so much pressure. Thinking too much is tough. Being human is hard. Being a dog is way better."

Muttering to himself, Pakkun dropped his head and kept eating like his life depended on it—because today, he was absolutely going to eat his fill.

Akamaru was also stuffing his face while nodding along, though it was anyone's guess whether he actually understood what Pakkun meant.

The wedding banquet went on happily, and it wasn't until evening that the guests gradually began to leave. Some even invited each other out to Yakiniku Q to keep eating and drinking.

After seeing everyone off, Natsuki and Tenten finally let out a breath, then looked at each other and smiled.

The shop owner quickly said, "Someone will clean up here, so you don't need to worry. Natsuki—tomorrow, take Tenten to the hospital for a proper checkup. Make sure you ask what she needs to pay attention to. The baby is our family's treasure—there can't be even the slightest mistake."

"Don't worry, Grandpa," Natsuki immediately corrected his form of address.

A night passed.

The next morning, Natsuki took Tenten to the hospital, and he specifically asked Megumi to help—Megumi immediately arranged a reliable OB-GYN.

Since she was only a month along, there were plenty of things to watch out for, and the two of them listened carefully to the doctor's instructions.

Megumi listened beside them too—probably thinking she'd need all of this in the future as well.

After they got home from the hospital, they finally had time to look through all the gifts their friends and family had brought.

Hashirama's gift was actually Wood Release secret techniques. Looks like he hadn't managed to win the fight over the "Senju library free-reading voucher," so he chose this instead—still an excellent gift either way.

After all, Natsuki had synthesized the Wood Release bloodline. Their child would probably have Wood Release too, so it would be perfect.

Tsunade's gift was even bigger—she gave Tenten the In no Fūin (Strength of a Hundred Seal), and Tenten was absolutely thrilled.

He'd clearly put real effort into it. Calling it a "heavy gift" wouldn't be an exaggeration.

And it was exactly the kind of gift Tenten loved most—she was so happy she practically glowed.

As for Neji, that guy straight-up gifted them a luxury estate property under the Hyūga clan's name. He said it was for Natsuki and Tenten to live in for fun anytime they wanted.

But there was an even more shocking gift.

That bastard A actually sent over the Kohaku no Jōhei (Amber Purifying Pot)!

Using a Six Paths tool as a wedding gift… that was the most absurdly lavish move of all.
