______________

He decided first, to go visit his spunky cute little firecracker of an apprentice. While he was planning on gifting weapons to both Hanabi and Tenten, there were some issues that he would need to get into with Tenten, and figured that would take longer.

So Hanabi first it was!

On the topic of gifting them weapons actually, I’ve had a thought,’ Isobu spoke up as he made his way back into the main village and towards the Hyuuga compound, ’I think you should keep the Garian sword instead of gifting it to the weapons girl.’

Hmm?

That was an odd one.

’Why the garian sword?’ Daiki wondered. Out of all the weapons he had stored, it was perhaps the last one he’d expect Isobu to want him to keep. Not the Soaring Shortswords that were basically wind versions of the Kiba Blades, or the Marlin Harpoon, or the Manta Ray Bow, but the puppet sword? ’I get it’s still a chakra blade, and the fact its three blades can morph into dragons is pretty cool. But, I barely use chakra strings, Tenten would make better use of it.’

The most interesting part about it was the fact when it morphed into those dragons, they could grow exponentially in size depending on the users control and how much chakra they could pump into it.

Yes, but it can connect to your Infinite Armour and be used remotely and without hand seals,’ Isobu pointed out, ’And while connected to the Infinite Armour, they would have access to its ability to drain chakra.’

He paused. He hadn’t thought of that. Granted, to be fair at this point he had like three or four different methods for draining chakra and would obtain more in the future.

’Alright, I’ll keep it.’ he bowed to the bijuu’s wisdom, and continued on towards his destination.

Good, and look at it this way,’ Isobu replied, ’It’ll enhance the durability of your chakra armour even further considering you attached the Infinite Armour to it.’

Well, he was not wrong. And he supposed it would be extra cool to just stand there, arms crossed and not move a muscle, while three dragons burst out of his back and gobbled up his enemies.

The girls would go wild.

Isobu sighed.

Sweat soaked her brow, threading dangerously close to her eyes, but Hanabi ignored at as she lashed out, her palms a blur as she struck at the training dummy in a blurring flurry of blows.

Her body ached for rest, but she ignored it. That ache, that burn was good. As Aniki said, it was simply weakness leaving the body. And something something grind.

A lot of it went over her head admittedly, but if nothing else aniki was great at motivating people.

She ducked an imaginary shadow blow, spinning on her feet and sliding her foot out to kick at the bottom of the training dummy, as if kicking the foot from under her show opponent, and as she did, her fingers blurred through hand seals.

Electricity sparked around her palm and she thrust it out, "Lightning Style: Elekiter!" she cried out.

Her palm struck true at the torso of the dummy, an echoing clap resounding as she hit straight where the heart would be on a real person, rattling it and unleashing a wave of electricity that spread over and wide.

Panting, she stepped back clicking her tongue in annoyance, "It went wide again," she huffed wiping the sweat from her brow, "I still haven’t got it down properly yet."

While it was at the point where the jutsu would still do mighty damage, it was supposed to travel forward like a shock wave of electricity, a lot like her clans Vacuum Palm or her aniki’s Force Palm.

Even after a whole two weeks, she’d only gotten this far. Even with help from her father when he wasn’t busy. Which, was surprising, both in that he’d actually agreed to help her train with a ninjutsu, and even helped with her beginning efforts into lightning element training...and actually allowed her to do so in the first place.

...Father had been oddly very supportive of whenever she brought up aniki and her training with him.

She had no idea why father was so receptive. But, suddenly things had changed with him, ever since Hinata, and then herself began associating with aniki.

But wait...considering aniki’s doujutsu that was so like their own in many ways, and his sheer strength that made him next in line to be Hokage of all things-

Her eyes widened, ’Does father perhaps want to tie him to our clan?’ Hanabi thought. Through....through marriage? To Hinata? Or her cheeks burned, ’Perhaps me?’ she thought, thinking of aniki. That would make sense since Hinata already had someone she liked apparently. Aniki was so weird sometimes, but he was definitely handsome, and funny and his muscles were incredible!

She slapped her cheeks crushing those thoughts immediately, turning her attention back to the dummy and frowning, "I wonder how long it took aniki to get this jutsu down."

"A couple days, but I cheated."

Hanabi jumped, whirling around in shock at the sound of the voice behind her. She spun on instinct, dropping into a defensive stance, she hadn’t seen anyone behind her, yet her byakugan was active how-

She found herself looking at the familiar smiling face of her aniki, the one she had just been thinking about, casually resting on the porch watching her, his chin resting in his hand. As if he hadn’t appeared in the Hyuuga compound, the clan that was greatest threat detection in the entire village, without being noticed at all!

"Yo firecracker, miss me?" Daiki lifted his other hand and casually greeted her with a wave.

"Aniki!?" her jaw dropped, "You’re...here?" she blinked slowly, allowing her activated byakugan to fade.

"That I am," Daiki replied, "Good to see you hard at work grinding away, as expected of my apprentice."

Her budding chest puffed out without conscious thought proudly, "I thought you were going to be away for most of the month? You said you were going to train with the hokage and then you had an important diplomatic mission to the Hidden Mist Village."

She’d been quite proud when he told her about it when she went to see him after the conclusion of the second round of the chunin exams. Both of in him, and his accomplishment, and that he’d saw fit to tell her as such.

"Already taken care of, and then some," he shrugged, "We’re officially allied with the Hidden Mist. The Mizukage was quite the reasonable woman." he smirked.
